Latest figures show the extent of the build-up of illegal migrants across the Channel

This weekend saw the largest daily number of illegal boat migrants in the last two years cross the Channel. Sadly another four perished in the attempt, including a two-year-old boy. There have now been more deaths this year than in any year since records began.

Under Sir Keir Starmer’s premiership, the number of boat migrants has just exceeded 13,000 – in just over 90 days.

According to the latest figures just released by the EU Commission’s statistics agency for the second quarter of 2024 alone, 96,115 non-EU citizens were ordered to leave an EU country. Compared with the same period in 2023, the number of orders to leave dropped by 10.3%.

In this exclusive report the Facts4EU.Org think-tank can reveal that over 1.2 million illegal migrants have been ordered to leave the EU in the last three years (Q3 2021 – Q2 2024). We further show that more than one million of these migrants failed to obey the orders and are still in the EU – excluding those who have made it across the Channel to the UK.

Which EU country deports the most illegal imgrants?

In the latest results for Q2 2024, France remained the top country issuing orders to leave (32.5% of the total) followed by Germany (13.4%), Greece (6.8%), Belgium (6.7%) and Italy (6.6%).

The top 3 countries of France, Germany and Greece altogether accounted for more than half (52.7%) of all third-country nationals ordered to leave the EU during the second quarter of 2024.

Observations

Over the years Facts4EU.Org has researched and published many reports on various aspects of the migration crisis affecting Europe and specifically the UK. In this two-parter we focus purely on deportations.

Our report today looks at the EU's record on deportations, which is of course relevant to the UK because at the weekend the number of illegal boat migrants coming from French shores just exceeded 140,000 since the problem started in 2018. At the same time the EU continues to refuse to discuss taking back their illegal migrants, despite Sir Keir Starmer's latest visit to Brussels on some form of charm offensive last week.

With the number of illegal migrants (those the EU knows about) who have ignored orders to leave having now surpassed one million in the last three years alone, it must be asked just how many are intending to leave the EU in an illegal manner and cross to the southern shores of the United Kingdom.

In Part II we look at how many illegal migrants the UK has been able to deport. The record, needless to say, is lamentable and we will provide all the latest facts and figures.

Why oh why is no one, GBN, MSM and the Govt. even mentioning that the UK (and European) predicament with the ECHR could be resolved from within the convention itself?

Maybe with the very real threat to national security, the amount of parliamentary time, political upheaval, economic concern, housing, crime, personal safety, social unrest and concern about an overall threatening cultural change in the UK, that the immigration issue comes within Article 15.

Derogation in time of emergency

strictly required by the exigencies of the situation, provided that

Why have the EU and UK not vigorously fought in the International Courts and maybe kick the ICC into action regarding the apparent illegal loss of lives of mig rants a sea ?

1. Why the EU and the French in particular are not abiding by 7 pieces of International and domestic law?
2. Why the ECHR are not upholding their own conventions.
3. Why Westminster is not vigorously fighting in the International Courts and maybe kick the ICC into action regarding the apparent illegal loss of lives of migrants a sea ?
4. Why the authors of these legislative processes are not highlighting and contesting the relevant parties?

Relevance to Migrant Craft: While the PSC Directive primarily targets commercial vessels, the principles of ensuring maritime safety extend to any vessel within EU waters, including those carrying migrants.

Nothing will change because the Government doesn't see a problem. It's all going according to plan, whatever that is. A plan that the EU and UK seem to have and keep secret.
They love all the immigration even if some die on the way. Most of us however know that illigal immigrants cost the tax payer huge amounts and are changing the fabric of our society.

It would be incomprehensible that both the EU and UK cannot control the situation- even by derogating or breaching international treaties and conventions which both have done. Added to which, with VDL's increasing autocracy, the EU, from whence the immigrants enter Europe.

Do You Wonder if Starmer, Cooper and the Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris are standing on the cliffs of Dover, scratching their heads, wondering why the EU are not protecting the EU borders and think the situation is ironic?
1) France cannot patrol about 50 miles of very vulnerable border against unarmed irregular immigrants invading the UK, what hope has France of providing a creditable EU defence force? (for circa 10yrs at circa half a billion pounds)
2) The UK cannot defend 50 miles of its coastline.
3) The UK has considered increasing its NATO contribution to 2.5% of GDP along with other nations to stop Putin et al in their tyrannical world wars .
But cannot stop unarmed irregular immigrants achieving what a certain Austrian corporal back in the 1940's could not?

The woman who,having fled the horrors of Lebanon,was tripped up by visa problems on attempting to accompany her husband into the UK ,obviously went about it the wrong way. She should have travelled to Paris,got herself to Calais,then found a small boat going her way.
"Visa"?. The Border Farce and RNLI must have had a good chuckle at that one,topped only by the news that Starmer is going to tackle the smugglers ( but "no timetable" ). Our thanks are due to Yvette Cooper for pointing out that criminal gangs are behind the lucrative trade. Now we know,so job done.
