In this final part of our 3-part immigration series, we reveal that almost a million people came to England and Wales in the year to June 2022. This is the biggest population explosion in 60 years and the reason is uncontrolled immigration.

We analyse the data about the UK population – albeit that this relates to last year and lags behind the reality of even higher net immigration in the 12 months since then. The numbers are bad enough for last year and the next set of figures will only show how much worse things have become.

The consequences of the Government’s abject failure to control immigration

The numbers are so high now that it must be asked why heads are not rolling.

Far more people competing for fewer public services

What matters to most voters is how well they are doing personally. This covers many things, some of them financial, some of them societal. Here are just a few :-

Real increase in wages – depressed by the number of low-cost immigrants being employed
Access to GPs – a joke for many across the country, yet migrants seem to get priority treatment
Seeing an NHS dentist? In most parts of the country, forget it
New schools to cope with the overcrowding and additional ‘secondary language’ teachers? – No
New hospitals to cater for the millions of more patients? No, waiting lists are at 7.8m and rising
New roads, buses and trains to deal with the increase in traffic? Another no
Social cohesion – Are all the immigrants integrating into British society and adopting its values?

Anti-Semitism march in London TODAY

The march starts at 1.30pm from the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL. Nearby Tube stations include Temple, Holborn and Chancery Lane.

"Over the last several weeks, antisemitism has surged in the UK by over 1,000%. Weekend after weekend, London and numerous other major cities have become no-go zones for Jewish people as our urban centres are taken over by rallies featuring genocidal chants, Hamas-style headbands, antisemitic placards, calls for jihad and the globalisation of intifada, songs about slaughtering Jews, Islamist flags, glorification of terrorism and incitement to racial or religious hatred against Jews."

"Jews do not feel safe. Britain is a country known for its tolerance and decency. The people of this country stand with the Jewish community in this difficult time.

"This Sunday, 26th November, in central London, please march in solidarity with Britain’s Jews against antisemitism."

Observations

A national disgrace

Our list above could go on and on. It simply is not credible for a country to absorb millions more people in a short number of years without a concomitant increase in infrastructure – and this has not happened. There is scarcely any aspect of life in the United Kingdom that has not been affected for ordinary people by runaway immigration.

Our analysis of the totality of the data issued by the ONS and the Home Office on Thursday, plus our report on Macron's illegal boat migrants yesterday, presents a situation that is little short of a scandal. In fact, we would go further and say that it IS in fact a scandal.

We have shown that :-

Legal immigration has topped two million in the last five years
1.2 million long-term legal migrants entered the UK in the 12 months to June 2023
Hundreds of thousands of migrants have come as dependents of those on student or work visas

“Macron’s migrants” – the illegal Channel migrants have now topped 112,000 in five years
The British taxpayer has bunged £0.7bn to the French government for the privilege
Macron is exporting 3.5 times more migrants to the UK than he is deporting legally to all other countries

The information we have provided is barely credible, yet it all comes from official sources. And yet in all of this we see no signs from the Conservative Government, nor the Labour opposition, nor from the Lib Dems or SNP, to act in any meaningful way on what is clearly a crisis of our times.

“Unprecedented mass migration threatens to erode our national values. It is almost impossible to effectively integrate such a large number of people at once.”
“The public are justifiably angry about the failure of successive administrations to get a grip of this issue. They are also understandably worried about the impact on our already creaking infrastructure of adding a population the size of Birmingham every few years.”

We agree, Camilla. Perhaps the win for Geert Wilders’ anti-immigration party in the Netherlands general election last week, beating all the ‘Establishment’ parties, may set alarm bells ringing in Westminster. We would like to think so but sadly we doubt it.

And Johnson tries to shift blame and responsibility for the record numbers onto the Migration Advisory Committee. Usual tactic of trying to shift the blame, judging by his past record he probably didn't read the report, same as not understanding the Northern Ireland Protocol or the scientists re Covid or his own Covid restrictions.

Ker-ching go the government cash tills... All that lovely money for us.
During the first years of the 20th century, tax receipts rose on average at around 8-10%. Following their current behaviour that number has risen to nearer 60%, and there is a latent expectation as they settle, buy stuff and then breed.
I believe it is as simple as that, government want to own everything, and eventually we may be in the Chinese situation where we can be completely controlled and get paid pocket money for good behaviour.

I lived the first 55 years of my life in a place called Gravesham (Gravesend/Northfleet and some surrounding areas) Kent.
When I was a child into young adulthood It was a pleasant area that boomed following WW2. Working class English people, many in social housing getting on with their freedom and lives.
By the 1980's it had started to deteriorate. Becoming overcrowded by immigration mostly from our former Empire so largely legal.
Then under free movement the EU nationals came in. Then a sudden influx of illegals who at that time were coming in via clandestine lorry journeys. Groups of twenty or so would hang around Gravesend town centre creating a threatening presence. My old town was going down the pan and I was ready to leave. So I did.
I moved to rural environment 22 miles away and once again felt like I was living in England. When an opportunity arose to buy a new-build bungalow within a cul de sac, we moved again.
This brought us half way back to Gravesham. As my eldest son had married and had remained in Gravesend, it meant we will still had a rural environment, but were only 10 miles (thirty minutes by car) from him.
This resulted in us visiting Gravesend town again on odd occasions. Not a pleasant experience. It was like shopping in Nairobi or Delhi or Tirana or even Tehran. Certainly not in England.
So to your question “At what point does our country become unrecognisable?” Much of it already has.

The main reason we cannot see an NHS dentist is because dentists have been leaving the NHS in droves.
There seems to be very little idealism about our NHS amongst the dental profession.

The first thing that happened after the end of EU freedom of movement was everyone complaining about worker shortages.
Crops were rotting in the fields. Even if they were picked, there were no lorry drivers to deliver them.
Same thing with social care workers and lots of other areas.
Employers were successful in campaigning to let in cheap workers. There are loads of exceptions to the minimum salary requirement, and here we are. This is the consequence of what UK employers wanted.
We don't want to pay agricultural workers, social care workers and others at the bottom of the pile, living wages. That is the long and short of it.

The actual increase in migration is the 6 million white EU citizens that came here under FOM and settled in the UK.
THAT DWARFS the 983,000 brown-faced ones that have come here.

KB (5) We have in excess of 2 million unemployed in the UK. There's plenty to do the jobs you highlight. If they were told 'start working or your benefits will be removed' We could end mass(legal) immigration.

Old Albion (7). They are told exactly that.
To claim Jobseekers you have to spend 37 hours a week looking for work.
You have to be ready to supply evidence that you have spent this time trying to obtain employment too.
So you tell me what is going on, it is a mystery.
Try doing a search on the Jobcentre Plus site for agricultural workers. There's only a handful of vacancies but they keep telling us how short of workers they are.

Immigration produces temporary crises, like the riots in Dublin this week, but in the long run, "immigration" is just another false narrative. Immigrants produce change in countries, but countries change immigrants even more. Popular culture in the UK has been enormously influenced by immigration in the last fifty years, otherwise we would still be listening to George Formby and Wilfred Pickles, and dancing round May-poles with a diet of wall-tw-wall bangers and mash, but Britain changed the immigrants so that they are progressively more and more Brexit-voting Britons an less and less whatever they came from. I suppose a few people still remember the arrival of Hungarians and Czechs, courtesy of Soviet genocide in those countries in the Fifties and Sixties. They were supposed to change Britain, too, and now they are more British than the British.
