This is about legal immigration as a result of the UK's membership of the EU

The news has been dominated in recent days by the Channel boat migrant crisis, including the tragic deaths of yet more when a boat developed a leak in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Facts4EU.Org has published many reports on this, most recently here, but today we are shining the light on the far greater numbers of migrants who have made it to the United Kingdom perfectly legally, under the EU’s ‘Freedom of Movement’ laws, embodied in the UK-EU Withdrawal Agreement.

No-one is suggesting they be deported of course, as they have the legal right to make the UK their home. That said, the extremist-Rejoiners would willingly take the UK back into an empire that would once again impose ‘Freedom of Movement’ on the UK. This would only add to the massive immigration problems facing the country.

We believe the public has the right to know :-

1. How many EU migrants came and from which countries?
2. How much better were the wages in the UK than back home?
3. How much better were the job prospects?
4. And how is it possible that over 0.5 million more have applied for UK settlement this year?

For years British companies have had little incentive to invest in capital infrastructure to make them more efficient and productive. Cheap EU labour filled that need - but at the cost of no productivity gains to boost GDP further.

For years British people have seen their public services erode, as the pressure of a fast-growing population overwhelmed the ability of the NHS and other public bodies to keep pace with the growing demand. The building of new housing has fallen far behind what is needed, as is the case with school places, the ability to get a doctor’s or dentist’s appointment, the congestion on our roads, and the entire gamut of services which any civilised and developed nation should provide as a matter of course.

Reports like the one above take far longer to research, write and produce than many people realise. If they were easy, readers would see other organisations also producing these daily.
