Huge jump in German immigration shows extent of problem facing that country
GERMANY : HIGHEST EVER IMMIGRATION
2.14 MILLION IMMIGRANTS IN 2015
German statistics show immigration now out of control
Shocking official German report issued yesterday. Meanwhile Germany’s Foreign Minister attacked appointment of Boris Johnson.
  • He called Johnson’s behaviour during Referendum “outrageous"
  • He said “irresponsible politicians lured the country into Brexit”
  • However he might want to look at Merkel’s decision to open Germany’s borders, and the impact this will have
  • The results can be seen by clicking on the graph
Only 14.5% of the 2.14 million last year were Syrian.
The other 85.5% came from many countries,
taking advantage of Merkel’s ‘all welcome here’ message.

TERRORIST ATROCITY IN NICE, FRANCE

Bastille Day tragedy
FROM OUR SOUTH OF FRANCE CORRESPONDENT
A few short hours ago we were celebrating Bastille Day with music, dancing, food and wine, and fireworks.
Under cover of fireworks, a 31 year old man of Tunisien origin drove 2km down the Promenade des Anglais of Nice, ploughing through the crowds of French people and tourists who were celebrating French independence day. He fired at people with a revolver before French police shot him dead. French TV is now reporting at least 80 deaths and a very large number of injured.
Bastille night is a family event, with children of all ages being allowed to stay up and enjoy the festivities. The perpetrator will have known this, but it didn't stop him from driving into families with young children.
For anyone worried about relatives or friends, the French emergency number is 00 33 1 43 17 56 46, although the UK Foreign Office will no doubt have their own number.
President Hollande has already announced that the State of Emergency which was due to expire in 12 days has been extended for 3 months. The reserves of police, civilian reservists, and some army units have been called up.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
May's Cabinet table if it represented the people
The sad reality
52% BECOME ONLY 26% AROUND MAY’S TABLE
The anti-Brexit bias story no-one else is reporting
As usual, the mainstream media is reporting on personalities – who got axed, who got promoted, who went to state schools. But there’s a much more fundamental fact of interest to all who voted Leave.
  • Single most defining act for new Cabinet is to exit the EU
  • 52% voted Leave, yet only 26% of new Cabinet are Leavers
  • Mrs May has halved the voice of the Leave majority in Cabinet
  • Adding in those who aren’t full members but who attend, percentage drops to 20%
Forget the few big personalities like Davis, Fox and Johnson.
The numbers show Leave has been marginalised by Mrs May.
The Leave campaign isn’t over. Please forward this to individuals or organisations who might fund our work.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
When Mrs May says 'Brexit means Brexit', what does she mean?

We offer some suggestions
“BREXIT MEANS BREXIT” ... MEANS WHAT?
New PM repeatedly says “Brexit means Brexit”, but what does she mean?
Facts4EU.org offers a draft tick list :
  • Giving the EU notice of UK’s exit
  • Repatriation of all laws and lawmaking, with UK Supreme Court being supreme
  • Complete control over our borders and immigration policies
  • Total end to ‘freedom of movement’ obligations
  • No ‘membership’ of any kind of the Single Market and/or the EU, just a ‘no strings’ trade deal
  • End of payments to the EU
  • Reinstatement of our 200 mile territorial waters limit
  • Repeal of European Communities Act 1972 and European Union (Amendment) Act 2008
Readers may want to send us their own suggestions?

The new Chancellor in pessimistic mood in first BBC TV interview
NEW CHANCELLOR FAILS FIRST TEST
Hammond’s first BBC TV interview does little to reassure
Decision to exit EU "has rattled confidence, it’s caused people to put plans on hold while they wait to see how things clarify"
This was hardly the upbeat, confident, and optimistic first interview the World should hear with the UK's new Chancellor.
This is what happens when you appoint pro-Remain politicians who refuse to damage their own reputations by presenting a new and positive case for a bright future outside the EU.

The new Prime Minister needs to address this problem urgently.

The new
'Secretary for Exiting the European Union'

David Davis walking up Downing St yesterday
SO, WHO WILL MAKE THE BREXIT DECISIONS?
From our European correspondent
From the perspective of the EU’s capitals, the next few days will show who’s in ultimate charge of the UK’s negotiations with the EU.
  • Just like the UK, the power in most EU nations is generally in the top two positions – the equivalents of the UK’s Prime Minister and Chancellor
  • Eg Germany: Merkel (Chancellor) and Schauble (finance); France: Hollande (President) and Macron (finance)
  • The UK now has pro-Remain May and pro-Remain Hammond in these two positions
  • If the new role of ‘Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union’ is to be taken seriously in continental Europe, Mrs May must make it clear that the pro-Remain Chancellor has a subordinate position in relation to EU Brexit negotiations
  • It must be clear to EU leaders that David Davis’ role is pre-eminent and that he will be the driving force, with her full backing
  • Mrs May must find a form of words for saying that the new Chancellor will only play a subordinate and supporting role

Chancellor of the Exchequer
Philip Hammond
PRO-EU NEW CHANCELLOR – 6 YEARS FOR BREXIT
Hammond tells Parliament it will take 6 years to exit EU
  • Alex Salmond: "Will it take longer to negotiate Brexit than [the 6 years of] WWII? How would any future Chancellor of the Exchequer deal with such uncertainty?"
  • Philip Hammond : "if a future treaty between the UK and the EU 27 is deemed to be a mixed competence, it will have to be ratified by 27 national Parliaments. I believe I am right in saying that the shortest time in which that has been done in respect of any EU treaty is just under four years—that is after taking into account the time it takes to negotiate."
  • Alex Salmond : "That is a yes then."
This is why the new Chancellor must be nowhere near negotiations with the rest of the EU

FOUR MP's WHO SHOULDN’T BE OVERLOOKED
Many names are being talked about for ministerial positions – here are four with talent who aren’t, but who should be considered
  • Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP, former Secretary of State for the Environment, former N. Ireland Secretary, Chairman of UK 2020, significant experience of the EU, business, farming and fisheries, speaks French and German fluently, all-round ‘good egg’.
  • Rt Hon Dr John Redwood MP, former Secretary of State for Wales, former Minister of State at DTI, former Minister for Local Government, Co-Chair of Conservatives for Britain, Co-Chair of Policy Review Group on Economic Competitiveness, significant finance experience, brain the size of a planet.
  • Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, early career in Global Emerging Markets for City firm, own fund management company from 2007, became MP in 2010. Humourously referred to as “the honourable member for the early 20th century”, significant knowledge of constitution and parliamentary procedure, popular TV interviewee and major Eurosceptic.
  • Steve Baker MP, early career as RAF officer, then in IT, before entering Parliament in 2010. Member of Treasury Select Committee, Co-Chair of Conservatives for Britain, significant business experience, major player in Vote Leave.

WEDNESDAY EDITORIAL
13th July 2016
Facts4EU.org makes yet another appeal to Mrs May
Theresa May
To be crowned today
Facts4EU.org is party-neutral. We comment only on matters relating to the UK's position on the EU, on broad principles of democracy and governance, and on the UK's relationship with the rest of the World.
OPEN LETTER TO MRS MAY ON CABINET POSTS
Dear Mrs May,
Now you’re forming your new Cabinet. The decisions you take in the next 24 hours will play a major role in defining the shape of British politics – and your Party - for decades to come.
As a key Minister in Mr Cameron’s administration, you participated in the most extreme form of Government manipulation and abuse of power we can recall in any political contest in the UK.
The people of the UK spoke on June 23rd and we suggest that it would be wise to listen to the angry groundswell of opinion across the length and breadth of the Kingdom which wasn’t persuaded by your Government’s propaganda.
We simply wish to state for the record that any appointments you make which involve George Osborne, Philip Hammond, Amber Rudd, and Anna Soubry, will tell the voters all they need to know.
Osborne must leave Government after his disgraceful role in Project Fear. Hammond has presided over the politicisation of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to such a degree that it shames the independent principles of the Civil Service. His arrogance and disregard for the views of the people make him as unfit for office as Osborne.
Rudd and Soubry share Hammond and Osborne’s arrogance and together all four will drive voters into the arms of other parties. Should you appoint any of them to high office, it is our opinion that you risk the radical reshaping of British politics and decades of divisive coalition government.
Finally, it is not enough to say “Brexit means Brexit” – trust in politicians is at a very low ebb.
The people voted to leave the European Union. This means complete repatriation of all laws and lawmaking, complete control over our borders and immigration policy, total removal from the Single Market, and no payments to the EU.
It means being an independent country again, trading with the World, and trading with the EU in a businesslike way as other countries do. It means playing our significant and influential part on the World stage, unencumbered by the failed 1950’s ideology of the EU ‘Project’.
We very much hope you will take this opportunity to unite the country with a positive and appropriate team to drive us forward and we wish you well in this endeavour.
P.S. We ask you again to reconsider your inhumane policy and now assure all existing legal EU immigrants that they are welcome to stay.

If you wish to show that you now back Brexit, you should commit to invoking Article 50 by Royal Prerogative before October.

SOME IDEAS FOR DEBATE
CONSERVATIVE MP'S FOR THE NEW CABINET?
The UK needs its best talents in the new Cabinet
Areas of finance, business and trade will be particularly important
9 committed Leave MP’s with finance and/or business and/or trade experience :-
John Redwood, Owen Paterson, Andrea Leadsom, Steven Baker, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Dominic Raab, Peter Lilley, David Davis, Daniel Kawczynski
The above is a list of 9 Ministers, former Ministers and MP’s who have the required experience and who performed well on TV during the Leave campaign. Please note that most did so via their own efforts and were not used by the official Leave campaign as much as they should have been, in our opinion and those of our readers.
We’re happy to hear your thoughts of others who should be included.

WILL MRS MAY REALLY MAKE BREXIT HAPPEN?
WILL MAY NOW INVOKE ARTICLE 50 IN OCTOBER?
May’s Cabinet will now be formed 2 months earlier than planned
  • May has said Article 50 shouldn’t be invoked "before the end of this year"
  • The leadership campaign is over, 2 months shorter than when she said that
  • The Brexit process should therefore now be 2 months shorter
Will May now confirm that Article 50 will be invoked in October?
This might reassure millions of voters.

LEGAL POSITION ON REFERENDUM RESULT
Martin Howe QC
LEGALLY AND CONSTITUTIONALLY, THE REFERENDUM IS BINDING
Government is mandated to give notice under Article 50
These are the firm conclusions of a legal review by eminent, EU-specialist Martin Howe QC and team from Lawyers for Britain.
  • Referendum was in fact constitutionally binding on Government, not ‘advisory’
  • Government “mandated to exercise its legal power to give notice under Article 50”
  • Legal power over Article 50 is vested in the Crown, exercised by Government Ministers, without need for Parliament’s approval
  • “No credible legal argument” supporting legal challenge by law firm Mishcon de Reya
  • Government has now rejected petition for 2nd Referendum
This legal review shows unequivocally that the Referendum is binding, that the Government is mandated to give notice to EU under Article 50, and that challenges by the legal elite are politically-motivated.
We thank Martin Howe QC and his colleagues at Lawyers for Britain for their kind permission to use their research.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
1000 barristers ignore democratic will of British people
Martin Howe QC and Facts4EU.org speak out for democracy
ANTI-DEMOCRATIC MOVE BY POLITICAL LEGAL ELITE
1000 barristers send letter to PM demanding Act of Parliament before Article 50 triggered
Letter gives no valid legal or constitutional reasons
Instead it focuses on vague political statements
  • “Parliament is the guardian of our democracy”
  • “At this time of profound constitutional, political and possibly social and economic crisis, we look to [MP’s] to fulfil the responsibility placed upon them”
  • Referendum result “was influenced by misrepresentations of fact and promises that could not be delivered”
The last statement above is so naive and so overtly political, we struggle to understand how more than 1000 barristers - from whom our future judges will be drawn - allowed themselves to be persuaded to sign this letter. A letter from 1000 barristers would normally be expected to be about the law rather than being about their political beliefs.
Eminent QC Martin Howe goes further: “Clearly there is something seriously wrong with legal education today if 1,000 barristers can be found with such deep ignorance of the British constitution”

ANOTHER WORLD EXCLUSIVE FROM FACTS4EU.ORG

Fascinating notes of the Q&A session which Tory MP's had with Theresa May during the secret MP hustings in Parliament, courtesy of John Redwood MP
Rt Hon Dr John Redwood MP
NOTES FROM THE SECRET MP HUSTINGS
Below we publish notes taken by an MP present at the secret Parliament hustings, where Andrea Leadsom and Theresa May answered questions from their fellow MP’s.
This is currently an exclusive and we thank the Rt Hon Dr John Redwood MP, distinguished former Minister, for his kind permission.
  • Q: Why during your six years as Home Secretary has net migration risen so high and remained at very high levels, when you were pledged to cut it to tens of thousands in both the 2010 and 2015 Conservative Manifesto?
  • A: These are difficult and complex matters. The actions taken have reduced the totals compared to what would otherwise have happened. More measures are being considered.
  • Q: Why will you not reassure people currently legally settled here from other member states of the EU that they can stay following the UK’s exit?
  • A: It is important to negotiate these matters as part of the total package with the EU, which will take time and will be difficult.
  • Q: Will you today make an urgent statement saying that future migrants from the rest of the EU will come under new rules which will impose some limits on numbers.
  • A: No
  • Q Will the Home Office start immediate work on a new system of migration control?
  • A: No
  • Q: What changes would you like to see to taxes, spending and borrowing going forwards?
  • A: The reply made a joke about the individual MP asking but did not give an indication on any of the three possible topics raised
  • Q: How quickly would you seek to get the UK out of the EU?
  • A: Consider options and issues this year. Trigger Article 50 early next year and anticipate 2 years of difficult negotiations about a wide range of issues.
  • Q: Did you deliberately soft peddle campaigning in the referendum for Remain because you were not convinced by their case?
  • A: No. She said she campaigned with full commitment to the Remain cause. She also had to carry on work as Home Secretary. She made the good point that she did not say anything unusual or sensational, so the media did not find her remarks newsworthy.
  • Q: Will you negotiate firmly with a strong wish to leave the EU?
  • A: Yes, she accepts the verdict of the referendum. She will appoint a Brexiteer to a senior role in the negotiations.
A fascinating insight into the mind of Theresa May as she addressed hundreds of Tory MP's.

The UK media is all pro-Theresa May.

Facts4EU.org makes yet another appeal to Mrs May
Theresa May
Remain candidate for PM
Andrea Leadsom has already reassured all legal EU immigrants.

Mrs May should follow her lead.
EXISTING IMMIGRANTS – A QUESTION OF MORALITY AND DECENCY
Throughout the Referendum campaign, the Leave side promised to honour rights of existing immigrants.
Existing legal EU immigrants would not undergo forced repatriation. This was Vote Leave policy, as well as UKIP and Leave.EU policy.
Now Mrs May wants to use 3 million EU immigrants as bargaining chips in EU negotiations.
NO, NO, NO, Mrs MAY
That would be immoral and wrong.
It's simply not British.
People have set up homes, have jobs, have children in school, etc
It would not be right to ask them to leave, when they came here legally.
We ask her once again to reconsider her inhumane policy and now assure all existing legal EU immigrants that they are welcome to stay.

If Remainer Mrs May wishes to show that she now backs Brexit,
she should commit to invoking Article 50 before year-end
by Royal Prerogative.

EUROZONE IN CRISIS, SAY OSBORNE’S FRIENDS,
THE PRO-EU IMF
IMF were key Osborne 'experts' who told you to vote Remain
Devastating report on Eurozone published yesterday by pro-EU IMF
Eurozone comprises majority of EU countries
  • “Euro area is at a critical juncture”
  • “Likely to suffer repeated bouts of economic and political instability leading to crises of confidence and economic setbacks
  • “Muddling through is increasingly untenable
  • “Inflation remains too low, and weak investment, still high unemployment, and aging population will continue to hurt productivity, raising risk of stagnation
  • “Countries should rapidly integrate refugees into their labor markets”
  • “Growing Euroscepticism has led to stark political divisions, hindering crucial decisions for a stronger union to deal with the refugee surge or address security concerns
Osborne repeatedly got IMF to back his claims of Armageddon for UK.

GOVERNMENT DERELICTION OF DUTY

CONFIRMATION NO PLANS IN PLACE FOR LEAVE VOTE
Foreign Secretary
Philip Hammond
OFFICIAL : GOVERNMENT MADE NO CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR BREXIT
Extraordinary OFFICIAL admission means top Ministers must resign
The Government deliberately made no contingency plans for a Leave vote
This is a gross dereliction of duty and shows appalling incompetence
From Foreign Affairs Committee yesterday :
  • Q: “Why was no contingency planning done?” asked Crispin Blunt MP, Committee Chairman
  • A: “I'm not sure I see the need,” replied Philip Hammond, Foreign Secretary
  • Q: “The Government appears to have taken a decision to put the country in a place where there was no contingency plan for a leave vote,” asked Crispin Blunt
  • A: “Chairman I can assure you it wasn’t an oversight,” replied Philip Hammond
  • “We discussed this question before the referendum began," he continued, "whether there should be contingency planning or not. We concluded it was not appropriate to carry out contingency planning, other than planning that was focused on the very immediate pressures that might come on the financial markets.”
This is gross incompetence and the top tier of the Cabinet must resign
They’ve left the country seriously exposed

The Prime Minister has already resigned
Now the Chancellor, Foreign Secretary, Defence Secretary
and Home Secretary must also go
The fact that Mrs May, Home Secretary, is standing as a candidate for Prime Minister doesn’t alter the facts above

CONFIRMATION THERE WERE NO PLANS IN PLACE FOR LEAVE VOTE
Head of Civil Service
Sir Jeremy Heywood
Head of Diplomatic Service
Sir Simon McDonald
THE CIVIL SERVICE MADE NO CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR BREXIT
The Head of the Civil Service must resign
In General Elections the Civil Service makes plans for alternative outcomes
For the Referendum they made none, apart from immediate statement from Governor of Bank of England on day of result
At the Foreign Affairs Committee yesterday, the Chairman questioned the Head of the Diplomatic Service :
  • Q: “Don’t you think you should have been carrying out some kind of preparation within the Department?,” asked Crispin Blunt MP, Committee Chairman
  • A: “The Civil Service including the Diplomatic Service works for the Government of the day,” said Sir Simon McDonald, Head of Diplomatic Service, with smug, patronising smile
  • “One thing we knew through this campaign is that the Government would remain in place until 2020." he continued.
No they didn’t know that, and the PM resigned on the morning of the result. In any event it still doesn’t answer why they made no plans for a Leave vote
The Civil Service is supposed to be independent of Government
(See below)

Head of Civil Service, Sir Jeremy Heywood, must also resign, for supporting politicisation of Civil Service and failing to make any contingency plans for Brexit
From the main Civil Service website :
"We’re politically impartial and independent of government. As we’re accountable to the public we need to meet the highest possible standards in all that we do. We aim to have: • Integrity - putting the obligations of public service above personal interests; • Honesty - being truthful and open; • Objectivity - basing advice and decisions on rigorous analysis of the evidence; • Impartiality - acting solely according to the merits of the case and serving governments of different political parties equally well"

'THERESA MAY – HID AWAY'      (Another 'Facts4EU.org original')
Let’s look at Theresa May’s record
May’s camp are actively briefing against Andrea Leadsom to their media friends
We now turn the spotlight back onto Mrs May :
  • Was on losing side in Referendum - supported Remain
  • Cameron & Osborne rightly felt they couldn’t be Prime Minister, but not Mrs May
  • Made anti-EU speeches for years, then came out for Remain when the campaign started - to shock of many Conservative Party Members
  • Hid away for three months, making almost no speeches
  • Deliberately positioned herself so she could be a candidate if Leave won
  • As Home Secretary, presided over biggest surge in immigration in UK history
  • While she was in charge of it, net immigration hit record high of 330,000 in 2015
  • Few weeks ago promised to take us out of European Court of Human Rights - Now says she won't
  • Border Coast Guard decimated under her watch
  • Failed to stop growth of Sharia courts in UK
  • Said people “benefit a great deal” from practices like Sharia law
  • Won't take us completely out of EU Free Movement
  • Claims to be tough and ‘no nonsense’ but no evidence of achievement
  • Now she won’t guarantee rights for existing legal EU immigrants
  • Wants to use 3m people as ‘bargaining chips’ – unnacceptable conduct
Hard to understand how we can have a Prime Minister
who hides during difficult decisions

Hard to understand how a PM candidate who voted Remain
could believe in and truly promote a positive, post-EU British future

REGULAR READERS WILL REMEMBER OUR "MISSING PERSONS" POSTER FOR MRS MAY DURING THE REFERENDUM CAMPAIGN

Mrs May has been confused recently. She is known to think she's the Home Secretary. She is generally docile, but members of the public are warned not to ask whether she supports the EU, as her reaction could be highly unpredictable.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
CARNEY MUST GO
OPEN LETTER TO OUR CANADIAN READERS
Dear Canadian Cousins, we have a favour to ask.
It was kind of you to lend us ‘Pretty-Boy’ Carney to run the Bank of England. The thing is, would you mind awfully taking him back?
The problem is that he’s been using his position of Governor of the Bank of England to make political and self-aggrandising TV appearances and is talking down our economy. We’re a tad old-fashioned over here and we have this idea that the Governor should be non-political and should maintain confidence in the economy.
Over the last few months and at the encouragement of our Chancellor George Osborne, we’re afraid Pretty-Boy participated in the presentation of an apocalyptic vision of Brexit.
Now that his post-Brexit predictions are proving false, he’s been forced to make more and more TV appearances (more than our Prime Minister in fact), to prophecy doom and gloom in an attempt to make his prophecies come true.
It’s costing us a fortune! Would you mind taking him back now please? We’d be terribly grateful. His salary is only £880,000 per year.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
LEGAL ACTION TAKEN TO BLOCK BREXIT
THE ESTABLISHMENT MOVES TO BLOCK BREXIT
Legal challenge issued at High Court to block Article 50
As predicted here on the day of the result when we launched our ‘Leave Means Leave’ campaign, the establishment is moving to block the democratic will of the British people to leave the EU.
  • Top law firm says "Legal steps have been taken" on behalf of unnamed clients "to ensure that the Article 50 notification process is lawful"
  • They are seeking to block Government from invoking Article 50 (to leave EU) without legislative act first being passed by Parliament
  • Chairman of pro-Brexit Lawyers for Britain Martin Howe QC said proposed action "devoid of all legal merit"
This is why we urged last week that Article 50 be invoked quickly.
We continue to urge the Conservative Party to move much faster to replace David Cameron.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
ESTABLISHMENT TURNS ON ANDREA LEADSOM
A candidate for Prime Minister who believes in leaving the EU and growing as a global nation again
WAS ANDREA LEADSOM A SECRET REMAINER?
Media are reporting Leadsom said she was pro-Remain 3 years ago
In 2013 many still hoped the EU was reformable, including Cameron
Leadsom had been actively campaigning for a renegotiation and Referendum
  • Leadsom (and the public) were expecting Cameron to negotiate serious EU reforms
  • Leadsom's speech is full of criticism of the EU in every respect
  • The pro-EU media have given one selective comment from Leadsom’s speech in 2013
The establishment media this morning failed to give the public any of what Leadsom said next in her 2013 speech, so we will
  • “On the other hand I think the status quo is fundamentally damaging, not to just to Britain’s propects from too much red tape, but also to our sense of justice, fairness, accountability and good governance.”
  • “There are too many laws decided in Brussels which would be better decided by our national Parliament.”
  • “For the EU to succeed, returning powers to nation states is in my view utterly vital
  • “And the opportunity for fundamental reform is right now
  • “The status quo in the EU is simply not an option”
Leadsom was a consistent Leaver before and during campaign.

May declared for Remain and then hid away from the voting public.
Yet suddenly May is now on the news every day.

Draw your own conclusions.

THERESA MAY
- HID AWAY
PRO-REMAIN MAIL ON SUNDAY POLL RESULTS
Mrs May gets 50% of all voters for ‘best leader’
  • Andrea Leadsom will launch her campaign with speech tomorrow
  • Public don’t yet know ‘dark horse’ Leadsom
  • In 1975, no newspaper backed Thatcher against Ted Heath
  • (Only one magazine, the Spectator, came out for Thatcher)
  • Betting odds were 1/6 against Thatcher – but she won
Cameron resigned because he'd supported Remain.
May supported Remain. Leadsom was in tune with the Public.

'LEAVE MEANS LEAVE' CAMPAIGN
PRO-EU ANTI-DEMOCRACY MARCH
It's time to accept the result
LONDON PRO-EU, ANTI-DEMOCRACY MARCH
Protestors marched yesterday in London, for the EU and against democracy
  • Referendum gave highest democratic mandate ever for a decision
  • 17.4 million people voted to leave the EU
  • This is more votes by the British people for anything in history
  • Metropolitan Police have issued no number for marchers yesterday
  • Protestors claimed vote invalid as 'people were lied to by Leave campaign'
We could produce an objective list of demonstrable and incontestable facts showing that the number of false Remain claims and transgressions is longer and far more serious than those for the Leave campaign

In a spirit of unifying the nation again, we haven't done so
The democratic will of the people is clear.
It's time to unite as a nation and move forward positively
based on the Referendum result.

THERESA MAY

HID AWAY
Tory leadership Remainer Theresa May
STEPHEN CRABB

REMAINER
Stephen Crabb
THE TWO PRO-REMAIN CANDIDATES FOR PM
1. THERESA MAY – HID AWAY
It is simply inconceivable that a pro-Remain candidate could take Britain forward and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities which lie ahead for the UK in our exciting global future.
In particular, readers will recall that we issued a ‘Missing Persons Notice’ for Theresa May during the campaign.
Someone who hid from the public during the campaign, in order to keep her leadership options open, does not have the qualities required to lead the country.
  • Theresa May has been Home Secretary for 6 years – impressive achievement
  • However immigration rocketed under her, despite promise to reduce it
Mrs May also made deeply troubling comments on Thursday about Brexit
  • "to regain 'more' control of the numbers of people coming here from Europe"
  • Note she didn't say 'control', she said 'more control'. In other words, she will negotiate on free movement, which is not acceptable in terms of what the British public voted for.
We simply do not believe Ms May can present an optimistic and exciting UK future to all voters and will be unable to unite the country.
2. STEPHEN CRABB - REMAINER
An impressive candidate who has a great future in Government, but he is disqualified from leadership at this time by virtue of him supporting the UK's membership of the failing EU superstate.
We also feel he made a serious error in choosing Sajid Javid as his Chancellor-nominate. Mr Javid was also a Remainer and made the most bizarre and inconsistent Remain announcement of any we read this year.
So it’s Andrea to lead us into a better, brighter, more prosperous Britain with a global future

EU President Juncker
must go
EU PRESIDENT JUNCKER MUST GO – part 1
On Monday Juncker issued a ‘Presidential ban’ on all talks with UK
  • He proclaimed no-one can talk to UK before Article 51 notice is given
  • “No notification, no negotiation” he insisted
  • Yesterday, 48 hours later, he broke his own 'Presidential ban'
  • He and President Schultz held talks in Brussels with Ms Sturgeon (SNP)
Juncker is being widely criticised across EU state capitals
This man should not be allowed
anywhere near Brexit negotiations
He's damaging the EU and must go

EU President Juncker
must go
EU President Juncker
doing weird dance while meeting EU heads of state
EU PRESIDENT JUNCKER MUST GO – part 2
EU Commission President Juncker and Scotland
  • 2014: Scotland voted to remain part of the United Kingdom
  • Scotland is not a member of the EU, the United Kingdom is
  • Yesterday Juncker and Schultz interfered directly in UK internal politics
  • They held talks with a breakaway party of a member state
  • Many EU countries have separatist movements, Spain, France, Italy, etc
  • They are not happy
09 May 2014 : Asked about Scotland, Juncker said: “I greatly respect democratic expressions in European territories, but I do not have the arrogance nor the wish to try to get involved in a debate that affects the territorial and political organization of member states”
Clearly two years later he now has that arrogance
Equally clearly he is not a fit person to lead the EU Commission
This man should be nowhere near Brexit negotiations

EU PRESIDENT JUNCKER MUST GO – part 3
We’re told by our readers that their children have been indoctrinated with EU-provided propaganda in their schools for years – we welcome examples from parents, which we will happily publish
  • Pro-EU 'educational' material must be changed now - it doesn’t have to wait until we leave the EU
  • The Education Secretary Nicky Morgan could act on this today (if she weren’t a Remainer)
  • We don’t ask for pro-Brexit propaganda, just none from the EU
The following video should now be part of the secondary school curriculum
It’s of EU Commission President Juncker with his ‘State of the Union’ speech last year
AT 1 HOUR 20 MINS, IT'S RAMBLING, INCOHERENT, AND FRANKLY EMBARRASSING
Possible questions from their teacher:
  1. This is your EU Commission President addressing the EU Parliament
  2. It's the 'big speech' of the year in the EU - what are your overall thoughts?
  3. How does this speech compare to major speeches in our own Parliament?
  4. Write down as many facts as you can from this speech
  5. Comment on how this makes you feel about the European Union
  6. Write down what you know about how the President was elected
It's time to put some balance back into our children's education

WE REAP WHAT THEY SOWED
WHY IS THE UK ECONOMY UNDER PRESSURE?
Can Vote Leave spokespeople please explain to the British people:-
  • Week after week the UK Government gave dire warnings on the economy
  • Cameron-Osborne predicted economic Armageddon if we voted to leave EU
  • They gave precise figures on GDP falls, huge job losses, loss of investment, etc
  • Osborne announced there would have to be an emergency budget on Brexit
  • Financial institutions and big business encouraged to predict catastrophe
  • Some say this was treasonous behaviour by our own Government
Is it surprising that the World’s markets are panicking?
Our own Government effectively told them to panic
If the Government had presented a more balanced case,
the current economic turmoil would be much reduced.
Please blame the Government, not Brexit

DRAMATIC WARNING FROM EU BORDERS BOSS
Huge new influx coming from Africa, in addition to Arab states

EU MIGRANT CRISIS ESCALATES AGAIN
300,000 Africans expected into Italy in 2016, warns EU Borders Boss
Warning given in interview this morning with Germany’s largest newspaper.
This will not appear on British TV. (That’s just a good guess.)
Head of EU Border Agency ‘Frontex’ warns:
  • “Migrants into Italy are now 13-14 times higher than migrants into Greece”
  • “We must expect 300,000 people this year from Maghreb into Europe"
  • 19,000 African migrants arrived in Italy in May – double April’s figure
  • From 20-27 May, 13,000 people rescued from boats, in addition to those who arrived safely
The EU continues to be increasingly out of control

WHY GEORGE OSBORNE MUST GO NOW
Months of talking down the economy; he can’t be credible to the rest of the World
  • Chancellor represents the UK to world financial markets
  • He spent the last few months predicting Armageddon if we voted Leave
  • Each time he speaks he can’t say he lied, for the sake of his personal credibility
  • He therefore can’t talk up the UK economy and will sound pessimistic
  • Each time he speaks, world markets will remember his dire predictions
Specifically here’s what the Chancellor told the UK
and the World's financial markets to expect :-
“Britain would be permanently poorer to the tune of £4,300 per household each and every year”
“it builds up to a profound economic shock if Britain leaves the EU”
“a vote to leave will push our economy into a recession”
“our GDP – it could be as much as 6% smaller”
“We’d have a year of negative growth – that’s a recession”
“The pound would fall in value – by between 12% and 15%”
“Within a year of the Referendum, inflation would be over 2% higher”
“Within two years, at least half a million jobs would be lost”
“across Britain as many as 820,000 jobs could be lost”
“Youth unemployment would rise by over 10%”
“real wages will fall by almost 3% in the first two years”
“The borrowing bill for leaving the EU would be between £24 billion to £39 billion a year”
“Markets would be volatile, banks would be more cautious, the value of things like shares would likely fall”
Summarising :-
  • George Osborne won’t say he lied, or exaggerated the effects of Brexit
  • Therefore he can’t reassure the world’s markets
  • Therefore he must be replaced as quickly as possible with a positive, pro-Brexit Chancellor
In our view this will become increasingly urgent in the coming hours and days

NEED TO REUNITE

MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM FACTS4EU.ORG
There's a job still to do, but it's not insurmountable
Far less than half of all under 25's voted to Remain
ONLY 26% OF UNDER 25’s VOTED TO REMAIN IN EU *
THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR YOUTH - OUR INITIAL ANALYSIS
How bad are things with disaffected young voters?
  • No doubt that the majority of those of UK’s young who voted, chose Remain
  • We feel they were poorly served by the campaigns in having quality information
  • (Teaching and university sector are all heavily biased pro-EU)
  • However it seems that even with bias, only 26% of all under 25’s voted Remain
* CAVEAT: There are no totally reliable statistics or polls about this. We’ve used 3 sources and made extrapolations. Even so, it looks clear that less than half of all under 25’s voted to Remain.
There is still a job to do, educating more of our young people of the reasons why older people voted to Leave

COMPLETE VACUUM OF VISION AND LEADERSHIP
Urgent need for action
  • The British people voted three days ago to leave the EU
  • Today, Sunday, we have a lame duck Prime Minister who hasn’t spoken since 8.30am on Friday
  • We have an absentee Chancellor of the Exchequer, unseen since Thursday
  • We have a Foreign Secretary still insisting today that we can’t leave the Single Market
  • No leadership or statement from Vote Leave key spokespersons
This is a pivotal moment in the future of our country
  • Cameron, Osborne and Hammond must go now
  • A new (pro-Brexit) PM must be voted in by the Conservative Party and be seen to take charge
  • The public must be reassured that the Referendum decision will be implemented in full
  • A new Chancellor must reassure the world’s financial markets
  • A new Foreign Secretary must start talks with all our allies – European and others
  • The new Government must deliver the Article 50 declaration of leaving the EU
None of this is ideal, but none of it can now wait
The UK is one of the 5 leading countries in the World.
Let’s bloody well start acting like it.

SATURDAY EDITORIAL – SAT 25TH JUNE 2016
Well, you did it. You persuaded 17.4 million people to vote to leave the sclerotic and failing European Union. The biggest vote for anything in British political history.
You overcame the greatest concentration of international money and power I’ve seen in a democratic process during my lifetime.
Many of you put in long hours putting across the arguments door-to-door, on stalls, and at debates. You reached huge numbers of voters and it gives us great pleasure that many of you used the exclusive and original facts from this site.
And our readers who are Ministers, former Ministers, MPs, MEPs and Councillors were able to use our facts in their speeches and in debates. We were but one part in the jigsaw but yes, we feel a sense of satisfaction this weekend as everything sinks in.
Thank you to all who donated. You were a tiny fraction of our readership but we appreciate your contributions from £20 upwards. Every single donation helped to keep us going, even though we’ve now been left with big bills to pay ourselves. (Sigh)   If you can help us, see below.
YOU CAN DONATE USING YOUR CREDIT CARD
Click the box to choose an amount, then click 'Pay Now'
You don't need to have a Paypal account to do this. You can just use your credit card if you look for the right link. If you'd like to donate by cheque or by electronic bank transfer, or choose a different amount, please first contact us for the account details.
THE FUTURE
You’ve won the battle. And yes all reading this can feel very good, if a little daunted by what’s ahead.
Here are just some headlines we wrote overnight, addressing some issues we now need to confront:
  • Persuading the 16 million people who weren’t persuaded (or weren’t reached) by our arguments
  • Scotland and N. Ireland – calming the waters and uniting the nation again
  • It was individual people of the UK who voted, not constituencies, regions or nations
  • Young voters – you weren’t served well by the campaigns. Some facts for you to consider
  • Let’s start talking Britain up with facts – UK consumer confidence campaign
  • Let’s start talking Britain up with facts – international investor sentiment campaign
  • Why the EU suddenly wants us to negotiate immediately
  • Ensuring the Government does what we voted for
  • Who stays, who goes - heroes and villains of the campaigns
  • Putting together the post-Referendum cabinet and EU negotiating team
  • The UK – alliances and a new European order?
  • And much, much more
QUESTIONS FOR YOU
We’ve done our job and so have you. The vote was won; the UK is set to leave the EU.
Do you still want an independent voice, addressing all the issues we now face?
Or are you happy to leave it to Vote Leave, the media, and the Government?
We could now go back to our lives, or we could see it through.
Please let us know. And if you want us to carry on, who will pay for it?

MORE REASSURANCE
FROM FACTS4EU.ORG
French and German markets are in much worse state than the UK's
MORE REASSURANCE IN THE FACE OF CONTINUED PRO-EU COVERAGE FROM THE BBC AND SKY
TV continues all day to present doom and gloom. We refrained during the campaign from criticising the BBC and Sky, with proof of bias
This really has to stop now, because it's damaging to our economy
So far today :-
  • French market 'CAC40' has fallen 2.2 times more than UK FTSE
  • German market 'DAX' has fallen 1.8 times more than UK FTSE
And yet all we hear about is the UK market crashing
We just thought you might like to be reassured, rather than listening to negativism on the BBC and Sky
Naturally things are bumpy, because the world markets were told by Messrs Cameron and Osborne that our economy would crash on Brexit
We just wish the BBC and Sky would stop looking for bad news all the time, on such a great day

Facts4EU.org gives you the facts
  • FTSE 100 index is higher now than 5 years ago
  • Pound vs Euro is higher now than 5 years ago
We just thought you might like to be reassured, rather than listening to negativism on the BBC
Naturally things will be bumpy, because the world markets were told by Messrs Cameron and Osborne that our economy would crash on Brexit. Please see the way things really are, from the graphs.

THIS IS FOR OUR READERS WHO ARE TRADERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
SOME OF OUR READERS ARE INTERNATIONAL TRADERS OF CURRENCIES AND STOCKS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
It's true that in the last few months Cameron and Osborne talked down the UK economy and the effects of Brexit. Many people were stunned by this, but that's for another day.
The reality is that nothing will change for at least two years, as you know.
Younger traders will see Armageddon situations.
Old dogs will see past the next few days and weeks.
The UK economy is sound, and it's now free of the failing economic and political construct that is the EU.
Relax. Things are going to get so much better.
Take some short positions if you want, but the long-term favours the UK, not the EU.
The FACTS4EU.ORG Team, 24 June
Note: We aren't offering investment advice of any kind, merely our opinions based on the facts we've produced on this website in recent months.
BBC CALLS THE RESULT
IT'S FREEDOM!
We look ahead to
A better, brighter, more prosperous United Kingdom with a global future
The FACTS4EU.ORG Team, 24 June, 04.40am
LET'S BE CLEAR ABOUT SOMETHING
This isn't a win by a 4% margin
It's a far bigger result
The voters faced the combined weight of a very partisan Government, Big Business, Big Banks, CBI, TUC, all major parties except UKIP, the EU Commission, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande, all other EU leaders and elites, IMF, WTO, etc, goodness knows how many high-salaried 'experts', last-minute changes to voter registration, taxpayer-funded propaganda, and much more.
In a more balanced debate, the margin would have been much, much higher.
But for now let's just celebrate!

LET'S GET THE OUT VOTE OUT
For any waverers, there are two final nails in the Remain coffin, below. They destroy the credibility of the Remain campaign.
1.  No further EU reform is possible, (confirmed yesterday by the EU), and
2.  The EU is grabbing even more power the day before the UK votes
WHAT DOES BREXIT LOOK LIKE?
A better, brighter, more prosperous Britain with a global future.

NO REFORM POSSIBLE, STATES EU COMMISSION PRESIDENT YESTERDAY
'MORE REFORM? FORGET IT'
Confirms EU Commission President yesterday
President Jean-Claude Joke does it again, day before vote
  • “We concluded a deal with the Prime Minister”
  • “He got the maximum he could receive”
  • “We gave the maximum we could give”
  • “There will be no kind of renegotiation on the agreement in February, nor as far as any kind of Treaty negotiations are concerned"
ALL Remain spokespersons have said they will negotiate reforms if we vote Remain

BUT THE EU CONFIRMS AGAIN THAT IT WON’T CHANGE

REFORM IS OFF THE TABLE

VOTE LEAVE FOR FREEDOM, PROSPERITY,
AND A GLOBAL BRITAIN

RED-HOT
AND EXCLUSIVE
FROM FACTS4EU.ORG
NEXT EU POWER-GRABS START BEFORE WE'VE EVEN VOTED
German frigate 'Bremen'
Incredibly the EU Council made this decision yesterday. David Cameron is a member of this Council of 28 leaders.
How come he never mentioned it yesterday?
GERMAN PATROL SHIPS 12 MILES OFF
UK COAST?
Incredible EU decision yesterday, 1 day before vote
EU Commission, Parliament & Council created
'European Border and Coast Guard'
  • EU gave itself right to enter EU countries with a new force
    - even if they are 'unwilling'
  • Decision also includes territory of non-EU countries
  • Fisheries and Maritime agency mandates aligned with new Force
  • This means German ships have right to be 12 miles off UK coast
  • Personnel to be increased 2.5 times immediately
This is start of yet more power-grabs by EU

There is no ‘stay the same’ option on the ballot paper

VOTE TO LEAVE TODAY,
TO GET US OUT OF THIS MADNESS
Let’s Make Britain Great Again

We produced some great news items in the last few months -
EU Referendum News - Researched Facts, not Fiction.

We rely on donations from the Public and from sympathetic benefactors.
Please read our 'Help Needed' page for details.

Facts4eu.org is non party-political and not supported by any Leave campaign.
We present facts we've researched from official government and EU sources.

Now that the Referendum has been won, we have 2 main aims:
1.  To provide bullet-pointed and factual summaries of key points, to help people to ensure Brexit is delivered in full.
2.  Crucially, to allow MPs and campaigners to give reliable and consistent facts to the public.
Please don't hesitate to contact the Editors if you can volunteer in some way, and particularly if you can support us financially.
NEUTRALITY:    Facts4eu.org focuses on information which shows that the UK is better off regaining its independence and growing globally. The entire weight of the Establishment is promoting the opposite case, so this site is just one small voice trying to redress the balance.
