Me: Why are you wearing a b****cks to brexit sticker?
Rem: I disagree with it.
Me: Why?
Remainer walked away.
Same question.
Rem: thousands of job loses in engineering.
Me: I haven't read about this.
Rem: it's in my company, in the city.
Me: what's the name of your company?
Rem: bye
Me: why have a people's vote? We had one in 2016.
Rem: this is about the people voting on the final deal.
Me: we're still negotiating it, aren't we, so it's not final, is it?
Rem: bye.
Me: (same question)
Rem: I'm a French lawyer who lived in France during the referendum and I didn't have the opportunity of voting.
Me: and I didn't vote in your presidential elections either.
Other reasons: better off in.... the EU is more democratic than the UK....EU laws do not take precedence over UK laws....No, I don't know what the 5th Freedom is.....No I do not read EU documents, or publications.....our fishing waters will be reduced if we leave the EU....the EU has kept the peace in Europe....the EU are transparent....the EU have made laws that protect women in the UK....Our politicians are useless, the people need to decide.... The EU needs reform and we can do that within the EU.....we now have more information and we know that Brexit will be a disaster.

HOW TO STOP REMOANER MPs
14 PRO-BREXIT GROUPS CAN'T ALL BE WRONG!
MPs delegated the decision of whether to remain in or leave the European Union to the British people. The British people took the majority decision to leave.
This is not a matter for the personal consciences of MPs. They delegated the decision to the people and Parliament’s job since 24 June 2016 has been to enact that decision. This was made clear by the Prime Minister of the day, the Rt Hon David Cameron, on many occasions.
The whys and wherefores of whether or not to leave – and whether or not to stay in various parts of the EU - are not in question. The decision was a binary one and the consequences of leaving were made perfectly clear. These included leaving the Single Market and Customs Union. The question was whether to leave or remain – and that means everything.
WE KNEW WHAT WE WERE VOTING FOR
A deliberate Project Fear campaign was launched by the government and the Establishment, which predicted a myriad of catastrophic and IMMEDIATE consequences of a Leave vote.
All of the threats proved false including HM Treasury's prediction of 500,000-820,000 job losses, except the fall in the value of the pound which had in any case been falling for years. Not only were people ‘informed’ before voting, they were systematically misinformed by the government and the Remain campaign.
Despite the above, the majority of MPs have been doing all they can to overturn the democratic vote of the British people. Their self-justifications have in many cases been nauseating. The simple fact is that on this matter our MPs simply do not represent the country.
To all those MPs we have one message: “Tough. Now get on with it.”
BATTLING THE BREXIT-BASHERS
Fortunately there is something that voters can do. They can rise up in their millions to tell their MPs to respect the vote and do their job.
If sufficient numbers of people tell their MPs in no uncertain terms that they must respect the Referendum result IN FULL or face the consequences, the MPs will listen.
Those with small majorities may even start backing Brexit in small ways. Those with mid-sized majorities will pause for thought and may refrain from their Brexit-bashing rhetoric. Some may abstain instead of voting against one or other key measure.
The one thing no MP wants is the possibility of losing their job at the next election. And that is now in your hands.
THE BREXIT BATTLE PACK
In July we started assembling the Brexit Battle Pack. The idea was to give readers the right advice and tools to take on their MPs – and the anti-Brexit broadcast media of the BBC, Sky News, and ITN.
We made the Pack available in early August – long before anyone else had had the idea – and large numbers of readers have used it successfully.
Brexit Facts4EU.Org then undertook a concerted effort to persuade other pro-Brexit organisations to endorse the Brexit Battle Pack. Numbers are the key and we wanted as many people as possible to have access to the Pack.
Today we are proud to announce that a 14th pro-Brexit group has joined the club. Global Britain have become the latest group urging you to read the Pack and act on it. (See article below.)
NO, THIS ISN’T A ‘ONE-CLICK WONDER’
Sorry, but you actually have to do something now. We’re asking you to pledge to give up 10-20 minutes of your time each week. We simply can’t do the work for you and no ‘automated’ system will work.
We need you to take action yourselves,
individually or as families.
All the best advice is right there in the Pack. The first read will take you a little time, but it will be worth it. After you’ve read it, the actions you start taking will be quicker, and much more effective.
Remember, we’re not asking you to re-run the Brexit campaign and convert your MP to Brexit. All you have to do is tell your MP (and their constituency association and party) to respect the Referendum result. That’s it. It’s up to you what you intimate you’ll do if they don’t.
The Pack gives you a variety of ways of doing this, from the longer but most effective, to the quickest and easiest.
You can also start to impact and influence the news organisations who think it’s perfectly reasonable to demonstrate continuous anti-Brexit bias, but that’s a secondary benefit of using the Pack. The key benefit comes from hitting your MP hard. (Metaphorically-speaking, of course!)
ALL THESE ORGANISATIONS ARE ADVISING YOU TO USE THE BREXIT BATTLE PACK

OBSERVATIONS
ACT NOW
Please, please, please, if you want to see your vote respected, act today. Read the Pack. Take one action. Just one. Then do another one next week. Then another. Pile on the pressure.
Together we can restore some sense of democracy to this great country of ours. Thank you for reading this.
And remember, act now for Brexit and democracy!

Reply: Hi Paul, yes the Brexit Index will be a great tool for everyone. As most readers know, we tried to raise money to get all the technical stuff done in order to launch it on the site. Unfortunately we didn't receive as many donations as we hoped, so it has taken a lot longer than we anticipated as we've had to try to do a lot of the work ourselves, in addition to maintaining our daily output. We hope to be able to give a launch date in the coming days. If anyone reading this can help with a donation it will make the Index available faster!

Message: You list 14 independent pro-Brexit Groups who need to come together as a single united voice battling against the Pro-EU media. In politics there is only UKIP 100% for leaving, the Conservative Party and Government that held the referendum is split, and a small group of Labour MP's who are not fully representative of the large number of Labour voters who voted to leave. Remoaners keep saying 17.4 million people did not know what they were voting for. But they did, given the two choices, they showed a greater knowledge of the workings of the European Union (EU super state/dictatorship) and chose freedom. You publish the facts, so all get together and oppose the BBC propaganda machine. The EU is actually in turmoil with the rise in member states voting for independence from Brussels (populism). Is the Franco/German Empire about to fall?
Reply: For the record we would like to have UKIP's endorsement for the Brexit Battle Pack. If any reader can get it we would be pleased.

ABOUT GLOBAL BRITAIN
© Global Britain
Founded twenty years ago, Global Britain is committed to ensuring that our politicians do not betray the 17.4 million Britons that voted for change.
Global Britain was founded by Lord Pearson of Rannoch, Lord Stoddart of Swindon and Lord Harris of High Cross with the aim of making the case that Britain’s prosperity is founded on a global vision, not a European customs union, and that British prosperity would be best served by withdrawing from the European Union.
Global Britain has sought to provide the positive business case for the UK to leave the European Union and has published a wealth of research briefs and papers to that end.
Now that the argument for an outward-facing, sovereign, democratic United Kingdom has been won, Global Britain is committed to ensuring that our politicians do not betray the 17.4 million Britons that voted for change.
OBSERVATIONS
Like Brexit Facts4EU.Org, Global Britain undertakes serious work and we can recommend their research papers to our readers.
Like us, they believe in a strong, independent United Kingdom outside of the confines of an EU structure which denies national sovereignty and wishes to subsume all member countries into a United States of Europe.
We recommend their website and we hope to be be publishing a new paper by them on this site on Monday.

BIG BREXIT GUNS TAKE PRECISE AIM
MAY RETURNS TO FACE
BREXITEER BROADSIDE
Davis, Duncan Smith, Boris, Paterson, Patel, Jacob
“The fundamentals of how we govern our country are at stake.”
Yesterday a small but significant armada of parliamentary Brexiteers fired an emphatic volley into Theresa May’s team, as they returned from Brussels amid their continued, chaotic mishandling of Brexit.
In an open letter to the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon David Davis MP, the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP, the Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP, the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP, the Rt Hon Priti Patel MP, and Jacob Rees Mogg MP wrote the following to her:-
18 October 2018
Dear Prime Minister,
We are now entering the most critical phase of the Brexit negotiations. The fundamentals of how we govern our country are at stake.
The Chequers Plan is flawed for reasons that are well known. It does not deliver what the country voted for and it means that the UK will remain bound to EU rules even though we would have no say over them.
Its proposals for a Common Rulebook, Facilitated Customs Arrangement and oversight by the European Court of Justice mean it is not Brexit.
It also has few supporters - something that was obvious in the House of Commons on Monday. It has been formally rejected by the EU, it is opposed by over 400 MPs, and it is less popular with the public than the Poll Tax.
Now is the opportunity for the Government to reset, to stop seeing Brexit as a damage limitation exercise, and instead to deliver the Brexit which people voted for.
Two years ago the British people voted to take back control and leave the EU. The final deal must deliver the result that people voted for: control of borders, control of laws, control of money, control of trade.
This means seeking to negotiate a super Canada free trade deal with the EU. Both Michel Barnier and Donald Tusk have declared this is one of the EU’s negotiating options.
We must insist that it be available to the whole of the UK. Only by doing this can we seize the prize of the wide range of trading opportunities available outside the EU and free ourselves from the EU’s regulatory burden.
We were all elected on a manifesto to gain full independence by leaving the customs union and single market. It is crucial that we deliver on these promises.
We urge you to make clear that you will not bind the UK into the purgatory of perpetual membership of the EU’s customs union, whether by a backstop or any other route.
Instead we ought to ensure, as you wisely said at Lancaster House, ‘tariff-free trade with Europe and cross-border trade ... to be as frictionless as possible’.
This requires us to make a free trade agreement for goods and services with the EU, modelled on ‘best in class’ deals worldwide such as the Canada, South Korea, or Japan deals with the EU, and looking to new and lucrative long term free trade deals with other countries, for example China, the United States, India and other Commonwealth nations.
This is the ‘Brexit Prize.’
Talk of either a UK or a Northern Irish backstop is inimical to our status as a sovereign nation state. Both are unnecessary: indeed they are a trap being set by the EU which it is vital we do not fall into.
Using existing techniques and processes, with political co-operation, we can ensure that trade continues between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The necessary procedures can all be implemented within the existing legal and operational frameworks of the EU and the UK.
Rational and pragmatic approaches can ensure that trade across the border is maintained. There need be no threat to the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement.
We urge you not to engage in a show of resistance and a choreographed argument followed by surrender and collapse into some version of the backstop and Chequers.
Instead we urge you to say to the EU at the Summit: ‘Let us agree that we need to reset our negotiations. Our objective is a free trade agreement that benefits the UK and EU and millions of our citizens.’
This would command a majority in Parliament, unlike the unpopular Chequers Plan. Let us seize the opportunity and create a better future for the UK.
We are close to the moment of truth. Brexit offers the prize of a better future, global free trade deals and political independence.
But if these potential gains are sacrificed because of EU bullying and the Government's desperation to secure a deal, the British people will not forgive us.
Yours ever,
Rt Hon David Davis MP
Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP
Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP
Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP
Rt Hon Priti Patel MP
Jacob Rees Mogg MP
OBSERVATIONS
This is a good letter.
We are compelled to say, however, that the situation the UK is now in was entirely predictable and could have been avoided. We have always been of the opinion that the EU would never negotiate a sensible, normal deal with the UK, and have written about this many times. More than two years has been wasted on the EU's nonsense, instead of facing reality and pressing forward towards full independence.
Still, if this letter is the precursor to some serious and practical moves to replace this hopeless and frankly embarrassing Prime Minister, then we can only support it.
Judging from our mailbag, the warning contained in the final phrase of this letter ("the British people will not forgive us") needs to be drummed into every member of the two Houses.
We strongly urge all readers to study and act on our 'Brexit Battle Pack', in order to ram home to all MPs that they MUST respect the Referendum result in full.

Message: Dear Prime Minister May,
The open letter signed by six of your colleagues is an excellent and polite letter urging you to change course and providing you with helpful suggestions. Are you fully aware, however, the anger your present negotiations are creating outside the Westminster bubble, whether or not people voted to remain or Leave the European Union?
Many voters [including me] were once prepared to give you the chance to resolve issues and give you 'breathing space'. As former PM Cameron had made little or no contingency plans in the event of a Leave outcome, it was right you needed space at the outset to deliver our democratic Leave vote. We knew there would be bumps along the way, but did not vote for delay upon delay upon delay, and I fear there may be things going on which are, shall we say, less than transparent?
Prime Minister, your Lancaster House speech was in my opinion satisfactory, but from that point onwards, matters appeared to go downhill. I accept you have 'battled' away in the House of Commons, and maybe the House needs reminding MPs voted by almost 6:1 to hand the decision to the electorate.
EU negotiators (and others) have pushed and treated you in a most appalling manner, and no British Prime Minister should be treated this way when taxpayers have given so much (without consent).
As the second highest NET contributor, the UK has over decades sent tens of billions of pounds to the EU. You should not allow foreign unelected bureaucrats to dictate to you. Indeed, as the second highest contributor, you should **DEMAND** more than ten or twenty minutes of their bureaucratic time. The EU Commission need to be told in no uncertain terms their negotiators must not discuss sensitive details with private citizens having no formal role.
With respect Prime Minister, I refer you to PMQs of the 4th July, 2018. From the Despatch Box, you answered a question from the Rt Hon. Owen Paterson MP. Your answer was extremely explicit regarding leaving institutions.
Matters have been made worse by your Chequers plan which few people wanted and most have rejected, including the EU? More importantly, Chequers is not leaving the EU and conflicts with the largest democratic expression in British history on a very high turnout. I would give you respect if you announced in the House of Commons you accept your Chequers plan was not accepted, and would 'bin it'.
We will exit the EU on 29th March, 2019. I among the majority REFUSE to be 'rule-takers' from a foreign power, and the UK must not become a vassal state.
I look forward to our country once again having a positive, independent, and self-governing future.

Message: It's a great letter, but they must be prepared to follow it through. As Nigel Farage said in his latest rant, May is not going to change course. There are a few articles appearing today about DD taking over as caretaker PM to get Brexit through. I think he would be a good choice, and would be able to largely unite the Commons, apart from the 'Rabid Remainers' as Michael Portillo so eloquently described them. The warning shot in the letter is absolutely true. There are millions of lifelong Tory voters out there (including me) who also voted Leave. If May is allowed to continue, the Tories will be wiped out at the next election, and face decades in opposition.

Message: The Tories are the party of should've , would've , could've Instead of; Will DO, CAN DO, AND SHALL DO. The Tory leadership, the cabinet members are bereft of ideas. They are sheep-followers, lacking in intelligence , brinkmanship and charisma. A dull, plodding, incompetent and inept set of individuals. I'm talking collectively and I'm a tory voter-was a tory voter. Never again! Embarrassing to watch how so inferior our representatives are when compared to EU representatives in negotiating. Set of self centred , egotistical , mediocrities in Parliament and Government. You wine and whinge , don't even deserve a salary increase . Why you ask? Interposing the dictatorship of the technocrats, who alone are capable of deciding what is good for the "People." Thus, rule by Technocrats (once called civil servants) now become the masters, in this dictatorship. The role of elected officials and representatives, is solely to act as spokesmen for their masters, to help them gain added power in a thinly covered veneer of 'democracy', disguising the truth from the people, that they are now subject to a fundamentally anti-democratic process. And Brexit has confirmed our mp's are no longer worthy of the electorates respect. Tories are the incapable imbecile party - a view commonly expressed. However, to me, they' re the puppets of the elites in '˜The Great Deception' ( Christopher Booker's book by the same name.) The CPC '˜Opportunity for all' slogan is laughable. Solve issues with yet another Inquiry Grenfel disaster-slow to respond Universal credits an abysmal policy and targeting poor Silly chancellor who thinks everything is the fault of Brexit.-so puts up taxes. Lot of thought went into that decision-not. Bullying in parliament amongst staff.Infantile to the extreme MP's not disclosing proper expenses PM's Lancaster House Speech dismantled Betrayal of the referendum result with Chequers that keeps us in the EU. Semantics to fudge and delay the process of democracy Talk of further Extension possible in recent negotiations says May with further billions lost to Eu. Vassal state-not a sovereign state. Betrayal of Dup promises and suspicions of bribery to keep the DUP on the Tory side Hypocritical comments during PMQT with time limits and heard conceding time limit postulated later that same day Historical Lenin lies strategy , internalised by Eu for the political and economic domination of Europe. Also being used in UK Establishment Allowing Europe to be an extension of Germany Legislation is a one-way ratchet. All powers surrendered by member states pass into the acquis communautaire, never to be returned. The acquis is the inviolable unarguable, criminal concept of EU "law," the foundation of the integration process. The irrefutable weapon of the Commission until the process is finalised - giving the Commission total control. What enters the acquis can never be returned. Thus the power of debate of formerly independent sovereign states is finally removed. Politicians become the servants of the Commission, not of the people and must do their bidding, acting as agents at their own cost.

THERE’S A MAY

A TENSE DEBATE
A SIMPLE GUIDE TO MAY-SPEAK
The Prime Minister Theresa May has been deceiving parliament and the British public since she became Prime Minister.
Here we highlight just one of the ways she has done this, without having been called out to retract her lies to parliament.
WHAT THERESA HAS SAID
Theresa May has continuously said that “we will be leaving the European Union on the 29th of March 2019”. Note that she normally uses the future continuous tense: “we will be leaving”.
She doesn’t normally use the future perfect tense: “we will have left on…”, nor the simple future tense: “we will leave on…”. As often as possible the Prime Minister seems to prefer the future continuous tense: “we will be leaving” – and she doesn’t say when.
This is significant. The future continuous tense implies an action which will start, and which will then continue for an indeterminate period. She therefore has deniability going forward, because she is describing a process, not an act.
Occasionally she lapses. Here she was on Wednesday this week, in the House of Commons:
“The only consideration for this Government is the national interest. That is why we have put forward a proposal that delivers on the vote of the referendum; that ensures that we leave the European Union on 29 March 2019 and will no longer send vast sums of money annually to the European Union; that ensures we will take control of our laws and borders; that ensures there will not be the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice in this country; that ensures that free movement will end; and that also protects jobs and livelihoods, and protects the Union of the United Kingdom. That is in the national interest and that is what the Government have proposed.”
Theresa May, Parliament, 17 October 2018
LYING TO PARLIAMENT
In the above case on Wednesday this week, during Prime Minister’s Questions, the Prime Minister clearly lied to the House and to the country.
She specified that “we leave on 29 March 2019 and will no longer send vast sums of money annually to the European Union”. This is patently untrue, as we showed in our series of 'Brexit Bill' articles last week.
Interestingly the next parts of her guarantees cannot be treated in the same way. She uses the formula “that ensures… we will take control of our laws and borders; that ensures there will not be the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice in this country; that ensures that free movement will end”.
By using that formula she can argue that she wasn’t lying; that these things will happen… eventually.
However in the first part of her reply to the questions she clearly lied. She clearly conflated the supposed date of Brexit (29 March 2019) in the same phrase as saying “and we will no longer send vast sums of money annually to the European Union.”
OBSERVATIONS
WHY DOES ANY OF THIS MATTER?
It matters because it is – or used to be – a very serious matter if a minister was found to be ‘misleading parliament’. Ministers can be recalled by the Speaker for such an offence.
If this happens with the Prime Minister it is of course even more serious, to say nothing of the ignominy caused to her personally.
The simple fact is that this Prime Minister has been misleading the House almost since the start of her tenure. Certainly, any member of the public listening to her in parliament, or to her many speeches on the subject, would be entirely forgiven for thinking that the UK is indeed leaving the EU on 29 March next year.
This is not the case except in the most technical way – and that is not reality to the 66 million people in the country.
The UK will continue to send vast sums annually to the EU, it will continue to be bound by EU laws, and it will continue to have no control over its entire immigration policy. It will still have to obey the rules of the Single Market, the Customs Union, and the Common Agriculture and Fisheries policies. It will still be controlled by the entire body of EU law, and it will not be able to conclude trade deals with the rest of the world.
Worse still, it will have no say over any of these matters, leaving the EU free to impose whatever it likes on the UK and crippling it in numerous ways if the EU so decides. Which it will.
Pro-Brexit Facts4EU.Org believes the public must not be mislead in this grotesque way. We would like the Prime Minister to stand up and admit that her Brexit is really Remain. We want to hear her admit that the UK will leave in name only, be emasculated as a country and become a disenfranchised EU colony, and that we will continue to pay vast sums to the EU for years and decades to come.

 “GOOD FRIDAY AGREEMENT”
DOESN'T EVEN MENTION
THE ACTUAL BORDER
Irish PM and President Tusk © EU Commission
WHY WON’T THERESA SAY ANYTHING?
The Belfast Agreement, known as “The Good Friday Agreement”, never even mentions the actual border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Despite this, Theresa May yesterday told the EU27 leaders she would consider asking for an extension to the ‘Transition Period’, in an effort to overcome the UK-EU stand-off over Northern Ireland’s border with the South.
THE GOOD FRIDAY AGREEMENT
The Belfast Agreement, also known as the Good Friday Agreement, was reached in multi-party negotiations and was signed on 10 April 1998.
This Good Friday Agreement has been cited thousands of times by the EU, by Theresa May, and by all the Remainers inside and outside the UK parliament who are seeking to thwart Brexit.
The EU claims to be:
“seeking a workable solution that fully respects the Good Friday Agreement”
- Donald Tusk, unelected EU Council President, 04 Oct 2018
The word “border” appears once in the Good Friday Agreement. It appears in the context of a regional development strategy including “border areas” – nothing to do with any actual border.
“2(i) a new regional development strategy for Northern Ireland, for consideration in due course by the Assembly, tackling the problems of a divided society and social cohesion in urban, rural and border areas, protecting and enhancing the environment, producing new approaches to transport issues, strengthening the physical infrastructure of the region, developing the advantages and resources of rural areas and rejuvenating major urban centres;”
SUMMARY OF WHAT THE GOOD FRIDAY AGREEMENT DOESN'T SAY
Nowhere does the Agreement specifically discuss the border at all.

OBSERVATIONS
At Brexit Facts4EU.Org we happen to think that close examination of facts is important.
We are not for one moment suggesting that there are not some subjects which need to be agreed about the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. These are quantifiable and surmountable, provided there is reasonable behaviour on both sides. However these topics are tiny in the overall scheme of Brexit.
The EU has jumped on the emotive subject of the Good Friday Agreement and is using this to scare people of the island of Ireland. The Irish government of Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney are equally complicit. The underlying narrative is that Brexit will see a return to terrorist violence in the province. We find this deplorable.
The reality is quite different. Both sides have already agreed that the Common Travel Area – in existence since 1923 – will continue, so there’s no issue in respect of the citizens of either country.
The only real issue is the transport of goods across the border, and that is something which HMRC, the Irish customs agency, and the EU’s own special report all said could be dealt with, without putting up any kind of hard border.
SO WHAT ARE WE LEFT WITH?
We are left with extremist EU political ideologues, and their animosity towards the United Kingdom following the vote of the British people on 23 June 2016 to leave the European Union.
This is something they feel deeply, and for which they are determined to punish the British people. We have published evidence of this many times.
On an equal footing is their determination to ensure that the UK must not succeed as a highly-competitive global player, sitting on their doorstep.
We are then left with Theresa May, a Remainer Prime Minister all out of ideas, and her Remainer ‘Europe Unit’ at No.10, led by an unelected civil servant.
There is no problem with Brexit. There is a problem with the people who aren't delivering it.

Message: You can see where this is heading. A 3 year transition period takes us up to 2022 and the next General Election. It also means we cross into the next 7 year EU budget period, so we will be liable for 7 more years budget contributions, but without the rebate. At about £20bn/year, that's another £140bn. The next election will then become a re-run of the Referendum, with the Government claiming that it would be much better to stay in the EU, so we can save the £140bn, and avoid the huge damage to our economy, etc, etc.
There is absolutely no doubt that May and Robbins are actively conspiring to thwart Brexit and keep us in the EU. I think she is playing with fire though, because I doubt that Robbins is smart enough to cover his electronic tracks, and sooner or later, an email will leak out which proves they are guilty of treason.
And where are the Brexiteers? All we get is lots of tutting and hand wringing, but they still won't topple the evil witch.

Message: Well, I've just done a quick Ctrl search for the text "border" in the document and got TEN hits, not just one as you claim. These occur mostly in the term "cross-border". You are right that things connected to the EU are barely hinted at. However to obviate your opponents' claims that you are not being truthful about the occurrence of the word "border" I think you should clarify what you mean.
Reply: Why don't you actually read the Agreement, as we did? 'Cross-border' isn't used in the context of the actual border. It's used as a way of talking about issues North and South, not about any border. Don't accuse us of not being truthful, please, when all you did was a word count search without reading the Agreement.

Message: I'm sick of this play acting. Anger does not come close to my feelings watching the sedition that we are seeing from those elected to supposedly represent us. The referendum was a direct instruction which circumvents the 'representative' role of MPs. In terms of the referendum, they are delegates. Anything else is simply anti-democratic.
Just WHO is going to build this 'hard border'? It's not the UK. ROI have said that they won't, so who is? The EU? That's their decision. It's just smoke and mirrors to delay and ultimately reverse our decision. An insistence on having a clause that breaks up the UK because 'it'll never be used'? Do they really think we're stupid? All of these 'lawyers' in Parliament and they don't see a problem? All I am seeing is collusion at the highest levels aided and abetted by a propaganda remainstream media.
I'm starting to see a few things that indicate that some people are deciding that the 'people' will leave the EU on 29th March, at which point our Govt and Parliament will no longer be considered legitimate and no EU derived law will be followed as democracy in this country will no longer exist.
What I think about May's 'performance' yesterday is unprintable.

Message: Any excuse to thwart the UK leaving and funding their totalitarian "project". What the EU is saying is that no country can ever leave their clutches. Project fear on steroids, Macron saying we will need visas for visiting France, and all British subjects in France after 29th March 2019 will be illegals. The Good Friday agreement is being used by Eire and the EU for a united Ireland by stealth, now that is something that will raise tensions in Ulster. The EU still believe that they can force the UK to stay inside their block. The electorate of the UK must let their MPs know we want out and if that means WTO terms,so be it.

 “WE NEED NEW FACTS”
SAYS EU COUNCIL PRESIDENT TUSK
© EU Council
TRY READING BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG, MR TUSK
A BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG EDITORIAL
Today was supposed to be the final day to agree a Brexit agreement with the EU.
However unelected EU Council President Donald Tusk yesterday gave no room for optimism that Theresa May’s Remain proposals would be accepted by the EU27 leaders today.
Instead he called for “new facts” in order to break the impasse. We suggest he reads the last couple of years of our daily output. He would then have all the facts he needs to see why the EU’s stance on Brexit has been wilfully obstinate and lacking in any reason or logic.
Critically, he would also see the solution to this Irish non-issue, which we published in different forms many times.
THE IRISH QUESTION
We reported in depth on this with many articles containing detailed facts. We showed how the head of HMRC, the head of the Irish customs agency, and the EU’s own special advisor’s report all said that there was no need for any new border arrangements between Northern Ireland and the Republic which would represent any sort of ‘hard border’ at all.
As Mrs May might say, “Let’s be clear”. The ‘United Ireland’ government of Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney have weaponised the emotive topic of the Good Friday agreement for their own ends. In doing so they have jeopardised the entire economy of the Republic – something that some Irish people are now beginning to realise.
The pro ‘United Ireland’ EU then saw this as a way of either keeping the UK in the EU indefinitely or contributing to the break-up of the United Kingdom as an ultimate punishment beating. Ireland has been used, cynically.
WHERE WAS THIS NON-ISSUE BEFORE THE REFERENDUM?
Virtually nowhere. No-one from the EU, nor from the Remain campaign, ever suggested that the Irish border was such a big issue, let alone that it would end up being the one major issue which could prevent Brexit from being able to happen.
THE EU ARE SAYING ‘YOU CAN’T LEAVE’, BECAUSE OF THE IRISH BORDER
The EU are effectively telling the British people that they can’t leave the EU because it would create a border between the EU and the UK.
There is already a border. It exists on the island of Ireland between North and South. There are different laws, different VAT and other excise duties, different corporation and personal tax rates, different nationalities, different currencies. There are even different speed limits, measured in the Republic in kilometres per hour.
The border also exists between the UK and every other EU member country. Apart from the differences already mentioned in regard to the Irish border, the UK isn’t even in the EU’s broken Schengen ‘no borders’ arrangement.
© EU Commission
WHY DOES THIS MATTER TO THE BREXIT NEGOTIATIONS?
Schengen is ostensibly a border-free zone across EU Member States. Currently the UK and Ireland are the only two countries to have opt-outs. Of the remaining 26 member states, 22 are full Schengen members, with Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, and Romania being legally obliged to join the area when the EU says they can.
Make no mistake, Schengen is a big deal for the EU.
Here's what the EU itself says about the importance of Schengen to free movement
"Schengen is one of the major achievements of European integration. The creation of an internal area without borders where persons and goods can circulate freely has brought important benefits to European citizens and business alike."
"Schengen is one of the key means through which European citizens can exercise their freedoms, and the internal market can prosper and develop."
The EU Commission Schengen Roadmap, Mar 2016
"The border-free Schengen Area guarantees free movement to more than 400 million EU citizens"
“EU citizens need to be able to freely and safely travel within the Union. The Schengen Area has made this a concrete reality.”
“The Schengen Area is one of the greatest achievements of the EU.”
Unfortunately for the EU, when it comes to borders their record is laughable.
The last time we checked, there were 12 EU borders where the rules had been broken by governments and where the EU retrospectively gave ‘temporary dispensation’ for a period of 3 months. These ‘dispensations’ have been renewed endlessly ever since and Schengen is frankly now a joke.
THERESA JUST DOESN’T UNDERSTAND THE MINDSET
The EU mindset simply isn’t understood in Whitehall. Countless times we have counselled the UK government to understand the mentality of the committed ideologues involved in running the EU, and of the political class in many of the EU member countries.
These people all believe that it’s the EU that has kept the peace in Europe for the last seventy years. They believe in a United States of Europe. They believe in enlarging the EU continuously – geographically and in its power over individual nation states – even though they can’t even manage the diverging views of the existing member countries, breaking out all across the continent.
Critically, they are scared rigid at the thought of the UK becoming independent and being far more competitive on the world stage.
IT’S THE (EU’s) WORLD IN DISUNION
Just try asking the EU how they’re going to manage the increased integration of the dysfunctional Monetary Union when major economies like Italy are now sailing off in the opposite direction? Or ask them why, three years after Frau Merkel unilaterally tore up one of their key policies and flooded the EU with over 2 million migrants, there is still no agreed EU immigration policy?
You simply can’t negotiate if you don’t understand where the other side is coming from. The Prime Minister is unfortunately clueless about this and has no foreign policy experience. Solitary walking holidays in the Alps with her husband Philip just don’t cut it.
Regrettably, the civil servants she now uses to run her negotiations with the EU are either equally clueless in some cases, or have gone completely native in others. Both types are equally dangerous.
“WE NEED NEW FACTS,” SAYS TUSK
No you don’t, Donald. Just use the ones you have. Or if you don’t have them, read the last couple of years of our output on Brexit Facts4EU.Org – that will help you out. In fact, for only €100,000 we’ll give you access to our new “Brexit Index”.
The fact is that the Irish border is a non-issue, easily solvable if you meant it when you talked yesterday about your “goodwill and determination”.
Regrettably of course, that’s not your intent at all, Donald, nor that of any of your colleagues. Firstly you want to punish the British people, secondly you want to ensure that the UK doesn’t succeed economically, and thirdly you want to scare the bejeebies, (to use an appropriate Irish expression) out of any EU citizens who might dare to think that leaving your autocratic and sclerotic EU is a good idea.
FINALLY, A MESSAGE TO MPs
To our MPs we say this. Our Prime Minister will travel to Brussels today and is being graciously ‘allowed’ to address the EU27 leaders, ahead of their gourmet dinner at which they will discuss Brexit. She is not invited for the dinner.
Is this REALLY who you want, representing this great country of ours at a moment of such national importance?
Please, please stand up and be counted. Forget politics, we are rapidly reaching a state of national emergency. At such a time, momentous choices must be made.
The country is watching you.

BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG BRINGS JEAN-CLAUDE
DOWN TO EARTH
WITH THE EU’S OWN FACTS
At a “Citizens’ Dialogue” meeting in Freiburg Germany a couple of weeks ago, unelected EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker once again threatened the United Kingdom.
This time he stated that in the event of no deal:
“British planes will not be able to land on the European continent. People didn't know that. Someone should have told them beforehand.”
- Jean-Claude Juncker, unelected EU Commission President, 01 Oct 2018, Freiburg
Oh really, Jean-Claude?
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES BY AIR IN THE EU
  • The UK is responsible for over 25% of all passenger arrivals and departures by air in the EU
  • The UK is responsible for over 1/3rd of all intra-EU air traffic
  • The UK has the busiest airport in the EU
  • The UK accounts for 5 out of the top 10 air traffic routes in the EU
Are you going to stop your citizens travelling by air
because you’re a political fanatic, Herr Juncker?
THE EU’S CONTINUING THREATS AND INTIMIDATION
Many times Brexit Facts4EU.Org has documented the EU’s threats and intimidation towards the UK since the result of the EU Referendum was announced.
Jean-Claude Juncker’s latest threat therefore came as no surprise. However it’s worth pausing to consider what he said. “British planes will not be able to land on the European continent.”
People in the UK have been accustomed to this kind of aggression from the EU, but we invite our international readers to reflect on the kind of crazed ideologues the UK has had to deal with in the EU hierarchy.
Is this seriously the behaviour you would expect from an organisation which is supposed to be our ally and is under Treaty obligation to be nice to its neighbours?
JUNCKER UNDERMINING A LEGITIMATE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS
In addition to his specific threat to stop air traffic from the EU, Juncker once again repeated the entirely false insinuations about the Brexit campaign.
“What I really regret in the context of Brexit is that there was no real Brexit campaign in terms of actual information in the United Kingdom.”
- Jean-Claude Juncker, unelected EU Commission President, 01 Oct 2018, Freiburg
This is of course patently false. “In terms of actual information”, as Juncker puts it, there was plenty. It just happened to be information that he didn’t like, such as the facts below from his own official statistics agency, researched by Brexit Facts4EU.Org overnight and brought to you below.
THE FACTS ABOUT FLIGHTS IN THE EU
Over 25% of arrivals and departures in the EU are accounted for by the UK.
Chart © Facts4EU.Org 2018
Perhaps even more significantly for Herr Juncker, over one-third of intra-EU air passengers are accounted for by the UK. These numbers are in respect of flights taking place within the EU itself.
Chart © Facts4EU.Org 2018
OBSERVATIONS
Juncker really should listen to his minders when they tell him not to go off-script. It only exposes his and the EU’s real intent.
Above we have shown how the UK dominates the skies in Europe. On 30th March 2019 the UK will continue to have the leading position in aviation and in aviation safety in Europe. The idea that the EU will prevent British planes from landing – or even flying over – EU27 countries is for the birds.
Unless of course Jean-Claude and his cronies are so removed from reality that they think the EU27’s citizens won’t become very angry and blame the EU entirely if they try it.
We have always argued that separate deals needed to be done on a variety of day-to-day matters, to keep everything running smoothly. These deals don’t require an all-embracing ‘Withdrawal Agreement” – they can be in the form of topic-specific agreements.
If the EU hadn’t prevented any discussion of all Brexit aspects until this year, Juncker would not be spouting such utter nonsense and at the very least we would have had broad understandings already in place.
THE EU IS A MONSTER
Once again we must repeat our warnings to the British government, which we have been making for over two and a half years. The institution that is the EU (not the peoples of the EU27 countries) is populated with ideologues – political fanatics - obsessed with their vision of creating a United States of Europe by stealth.
This ambition has been documented by us and many others, but it has gone largely unreported by the mainstream media in the UK for decades.
It is this fanaticism on the part of the EU ideologues which explains why we have consistently said that the EU would never do a sensible Brexit deal with the UK. And make no mistake, when Theresa and the EU cobble together some fudge at the last minute, this will not be a sensible deal, it will effectively be ‘remain’.
CHUCK THERESA OR GET REMAIN
Readers only have to look at what she has agreed so far. On 29th March next year the UK will not leave the EU as she claims. Not in any meaningful sense.
We will still send vast sums to the EU, we will still have to accept freedom of movement, and we will continue to be under the jursdiction of the ECJ court. The only change will be that we will no longer have any say whatsoever in any EU body, over what is imposed on us.
We continue to argue for an immediate change at the top.
If you can help us to keep producing researched facts like these by making a donation - no matter how small or large, we would be very grateful. These are desperate times and we continue to believe that facts are what people and MPs need.

Message: I liked your piece stating the overwhelming influence of UK Aviation within Europe (and also the World). Shades of Empire in developing Air Routes. There is little comprehension by anyone in politics that in leaving the EU (a transition period and withdrawal agreement does not change Article 50 implementation date. Saying we cannot fly in European Airspace could come about without a new ASA, but, then European airlines cannot fly in UK Airspace and access the North Atlantic Track Structure.
Motion for a resolution reveals all:- "31. Believes that, in light of the above principles and conditions, and in the interest of the passengers, air carriers, manufacturers and workers' unions, connectivity has to be ensured by means of an air transport agreement and aviation safety agreement; stresses however that the degree of market access is conditional on the level of regulatory convergence and alignment with EU acquis, and on the setting up of a solid dispute settlement and arbitration mechanism; does not exclude, moreover, future cooperation with the UK to support projects of common interest in the transport sector;"
Put simply, this means the Commission (Brussels) wants to keep control and prevent competition by UK Carriers. There phrase is - "to maintain a level playing field".

We are entering the final stages of these negotiations. This is the time for cool, calm Remained heads to prevail.
We, I mean J-C Junkyard, have agreed to a backstop on the GE, scheduled for 22nd May, 2022. This backstop is intended to be an insurance policy against Brexit ever happening and Labour ever being the party of Government.
1,000 years is not long enough to work out the details of a UK-wide solution to the Customs Union. This backstop (backstop to the max + perpetuity) is as pragmatic, as it is anti-democratic.
That is in the spirit in which I will continue to work with our European (Union) masters. Ciao for now. Theresa May.

She is play-acting, in cahoots with the likes of Junker, pretending to be pushed out of the social whirl, uninvited from a EU banquet this week. She cannot pull it off; she is no Sir Laurence Olivier! May is not dejected one bit; has she already agreed a deal with the EU, in secret, and now will try to pull the wool over the eyes of Parliament to agree to 'her' terms? With Mrs May still trying to surrender the United Kingdom to EU rule this week,
Brexit Facts4EU.Org takes a step back and asks
WHAT IF THE US WERE PART
OF AN ORGANISATION LIKE THE EU?
AN INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT THE EU REALLY IS
One year ago today, failed Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton came to the UK and chose to lecture the Brits again on their decision to leave the EU.
Here we try to show Mrs Clinton - and Remainers in the UK - what the EU really is, via an imaginary American version we’re calling UNCA – the “Union of North and Central America”.
FIRSTLY, THE CURRENT STATE OF PLAY
Whatever deal that British Prime Minister Theresa May attempts to strike with her EU counterparts this week, she has already ceded so much ground – with nothing in return – that the UK will effectively become a disenfranchised colony of the EU on 29 March next year.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
LIFE AFTER THERESA'S "BREXIT"
  • Laws will be decided in Brussels and the UK will have no say in them
  • Trade policy will be decided in Brussels, with no say and no voting rights for the UK
  • Free movement of EU citizens will be required into the UK, with no British control possible
  • And a huge bill from the EU will start to be paid by the UK, with ongoing payments lasting until 2064
SO LET’S STEP BACK AND LOOK AT WHAT US CITIZENS WOULD SAY
Sometimes it’s good to take a step back. Let’s imagine how the American people would regard the idea of their country being part of a north and central American version of the European Union.
Dear American reader,
Let's imagine you're part of an EU-style organisation in your part of the world.
Let’s call it...
'THE UNION OF NORTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA' (UNCA)
So what does UNCA look like?
  1. UNCA members : Mexico, Cuba, Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico... and the USA
  2. Legislature : Havana (also 2 days per month in Guatemala City)
  3. Laws : Only an unelected group of UNCA officials can propose new laws
  4. Your Congress must automatically ratify these UNCA laws and Directives – no debate
  5. Central Bank : Mexico City
  6. Court of Human Rights : Edmonton, Canada
  7. Official language : Mexican
  8. Common currency : Peso
  9. Countries in advanced membership negotiations : Colombia, Ecuador, Haiti, Aruba, Guyana, Surinam, Turks & Caicos Islands
  10. And by the way, in 2015 the Mexican President unilaterally threw open UNCA’s doors to Colombians, Venezuelans, Surinamians and Haitians with the hashtag “#RefugeesWelcome”. They should be with you soon.

WE ASKED 'REPUBLICANS OVERSEAS' FOR THEIR REACTION
Brexit Facts4EU.Org asked the GOP in the UK for their reaction. The GOP is the US Republican party, with a Republican President, a Republican Senate, and a Republican House of Representatives. They have a very active organisation in the UK, which naturally takes an interest in Brexit.

“Your imaginary scenario of the US being part of some international group like the EU is exactly why I couldn’t understand why any British people wanted to remain in the EU.
“People in the US, both democrats and republicans, get upset when their state loses power to Washington DC. People in California, or Virginia, or wherever, they get upset when their state loses power to the President or to the Supreme Court, so I couldn’t imagine what the reaction would be like in the US if we were losing power to a court in Panama or wherever, with politicians or bureaucrats who aren’t even American overseeing that. I couldn’t imagine it.
”There’s already so much anti-United Nations sentiment in the US and yet the UN doesn’t have real power over the US. Just the idea of an international body that doesn’t represent the US having control over us wouldn’t happen. I couldn’t imagine the US having to follow laws or orders from another country in the Americas, so it really hits home what you’re saying, the way you break it down like that.
“Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, whoever – no-one would support an idea like that.
“I think the vast majority of Americans would be considered Eurosceptics.”
THE US WOULD HAVE HAD TO GIVE UP EVEN MORE WHEN IT JOINED 'UNCA'
Unfortunately dear American citizens, when you joined UNCA you had to 'align' with its own views on many things.
You might have agreed with some, and disagreed with others. That's not important.
These weren't things that you, the American people, were allowed to vote on. You just had to accept UNCA policies. When the unelected Commission at UNCA started adding to all the areas on which it could dictate policy to your government, you just had to accept this.
You the people were not allowed a vote, because that's not how things are done in UNCA.
HERE ARE JUST SOME OF THE COMPLIANCE ISSUES YOU ACCEPTED,
WITHOUT ANY VOTE
  1. No American President had agreed to sign up to the International Criminal Court that holds military and political leaders to a uniform global standard of justice. UNCA corrected that for you.
  2. Even under a Democrat President like Mr Obama, the USA wouldn’t sign up to many aspects of International Human rights legislation including the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Again, UNCA sorted that and you're now signed up.
  3. The US previously never signed the Mine Ban Treaty, the Convention on Cluster Munitions, and the Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Obviously UNCA had to reverse your policies on these too.
THE ‘BARACK OF THE QUEUE’
At this point we will just remind British and EU27 readers of the infamous visit of President Barack Obama to London at the end of April 2016 - just before our Referendum on EU membership.
His famous threat to put the UK to ‘the back of the queue’ (line) for trade if it voted to leave the EU, is hard to forget for many British people.

What was even worse, President Obama made that threat whilst visiting the British Foreign Office. He was standing next to the British Prime Minister David Cameron, who appeared to fully support him in making this threat against the sovereign interests of the people of the Prime Minister’s own country.
The then British government and the political elites might have been delighted with the US President, but the majority of the British people weren’t.
Before leaving office President Obama made one more intervention, in November 2016, with a trip to Berlin. It was whilst standing with Angela Merkel that he made the statement that:
“I continue to believe that the EU remains one of the world's great political and economic achievements.”
On Brexit, he said the UK should negotiate something which is the same as EU membership:
“I reiterated our hope that negotiations over the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU will be conducted in a smooth and orderly and transparent fashion, and preserve as closely as possible the economic and political and security relationships between the UK and EU.”
FINALLY, IN OUR IMAGINARY WORLD OF UNCA
Below we've attempted to highlight the ridiculousness of the USA being part of this imaginary 'UNCA' organisation.
And yet this is the reality of the UK being inside the EU.
IF UNCA EXISTED,
THIS IS WHAT AMERICAN PEOPLE WOULD BE SUBJECT TO :
  1. Free movement of people across all UNCA member states, equal rights as for US citizens
  2. Your borders (incl. the Mexican one) allow all UNCA citizens to cross into the USA
  3. More than 50% of US laws are now made in the UNCA Capital (Havana)
  4. Only the UNCA Commission (unelected) can propose new laws
  5. UNCA Court of Justice in Panama City has supremacy over US Supreme Court
  6. US citizens can immediately be deported under the UNCA Arrest Warrant system, to stand trial in member countries like El Salvador
  7. Your coast guard runs out of Honduras and your seas are now shared with all UNCA countries
  8. Your military will shortly be combined with those of the other members
  9. Your Pentagon won’t be needed as the UNCA military HQ will be in Nicaragua
  10. The USA has a new 20% Sales Tax called VAT
  11. US Treasury Secretary must submit annual budget to Havana for approval, before Congress sees it
  12. US industry must conform to all UNCA policies, laws, regulations, directives
  13. Your energy costs have increased by 20% - sorry about that
  14. Your President must fly to Havana every 2-3 weeks for UNCA meetings, to be outvoted every time
  15. Motherhood and Apple Pie are now subject to UNCA specifications formulated in Guatamala, and subject to inspections by unelected UNCA Commissioners
  16. Oh yes, and you pay $200 billion per year for the benefits of UNCA membership

OBSERVATIONS
We hope you enjoyed this. It took a lot longer to assemble than you might think, but with luck it will get circulated in the States, thanks to our US readership. We need our American allies to understand more about the EU and why we're leaving it, because their media has been as one-sided as ours on the subject.
We hope that this analogy was useful and interesting. It's so often helpful to see things from another perspective.
It seems that Theresa May is on the verge of the most complete betrayal of the largest democratic vote in the history of the United Kingdom.
What we have shown above is the monstrosity that is continued membership of the EU. The Prime Minister seems determined to turn the UK into a disenfranchised colony of the EU - a far worse state than we are currently in. Presenting EU membership in the way we have done demonstrates, we hope, the appalling nature of the future she sees for us.
Conservative MPs and Ministers must act now to remove her with all possible speed, and replace her with a pro-Brexit leader who can inspire and enthuse the country for the exciting future ahead of us as a truly free, independent, and successful nation on the world stage.

Message: The UK is governed by gutless politicians with no ideals or visions. For forty six years we have sublet our British sovereignty to the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels. Our politicians have never had to make decisions for themselves, the decisions were made for them. When anything went wrong they blamed Brussels for any problems. With Brexit British politicians are on their own, with a civil service who are totally committed to membership of the EU for support, they are out of their depth. Without the comfort blanket of Brussels holding their hand, they are floundering. There are too many of the British political class with axes to grind for themselves. May should remember 17.4 million people voted to leave the EU and all its institutions win, lose or draw. It was OUR decision. She should just get on and deliver it. We the British people made the decision, you the politicians deliver our wishes. Remember you work for us, not the EU.

Sorry to hear you need more financial help. I already pay a monthly and very sorry to say i cannot afford more. I would gladly pay a lot more. Please don't stop your good work.
Reply: Thank you William. Comments like yours mean a lot when people on the team have been working since 2am! Regarding donations, we're immensely grateful to people like you, as you'll know from thank you emails you'll have received from us. If everyone reading this gave a little something we'd be okay. Unfortunately the vast majority of readers don't. We understand - many people have already given to other pro-Brexit organisations. The problem for us is that we're the poorest and yet we produce the biggest daily output of facts of anyone - researched by us from official sources. The irony is that we need help far more than the big name organisations who get corporate donations. We rely on people like you and believe us when we say that we value every single person who donates. Thank you, William.

WESTMINSTER BUBBLERS
BREXITEERS AT EVENTS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
Immediately after that magnificent victory on 23rd June 2016, Brexit Facts4EU.Org started receiving huge numbers of 'thank you' emails from across the country, from Scotland down to the South-West, from Belfast across to Hull.
We have always aimed to appeal to Brexiteers across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, not to the elites in the Westminster bubble.
Today we thought you might like to know about two events that took place yesterday. One was in Scotland, the other in Torquay.
SCOTS FOR LEAVE - DUNBLANE
Here, courtesy of one of the speakers at the Scots for Leave inaugural event in Dunblane, are some images of a well-attended and by all accounts highly enjoyable evening.

Message: It's time to fight to save Brexit. Good to hear great speakers standing up for Brexit in such clear and uncompromising terms. We are now entering a national emergency when the Remain political class and establishment are cynically betraying democracy. For God's sake force May to chuck Chequers or else remove her. Time is short and the stakes are high.

FACTS DON'T RESEARCH AND WRITE THEMSELVES
Alas none of us are hedge fund managers... or married to one. The Team (and one member in particular) has donated as much as it can. Can you please help fund our work?
Unlike many Brexit websites, we write our own content and create our own graphs, by researching deeply into official UK and EU official sources. Unfortunately we barely make it from one week to the next and we rely 100% on voluntary contributions - small or big.
We really could use your help in working for a clean and true Brexit.
Monthly donations are great because they enable us to plan, and you can cancel at any time.
But a one-off would also be marvellous - no matter how big or small.

THIS IS THERESA MAY
Theresa May's official, sweaty No.10 portrait
THE BETRAYAL OF THE BRITISH PEOPLE
AND OF DEMOCRACY IN 10 STEPS
A BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUNDAY EDITORIAL
10 BETRAYALS ON THERESA’S TREACHEROUS ROAD TO EU SERFDOM
BETRAYAL 1
British Prime Minister David Cameron promised to invoke Article 50 the day after a vote to leave. He didn’t. He resigned the next day.
Rt Hon David Cameron MP
The UK should have left the EU on 23 June 2018, two years after Article 50 was supposed to be invoked.
We should now be nearly four months into the rise of an independent United Kingdom. Instead our MPs are still arguing about the basic form that leaving the EU should take. Pitiful.
BETRAYAL 2
The Conservative parliamentary party chose Remainer MP Theresa May as its new leader and therefore Prime Minister.
We campaigned against her at the time, knowing that the country needed a Prime Minister who believed in Brexit. MPs decided and the membership of the party had no vote, as she was uncontested in the final round.
Since her appointment she has refused to say that she now backs Brexit. Her actions have shown she doesn’t.
BETRAYAL 3
The EU demanded that Brexit not be discussed in its totality. Instead they wanted three arbitrary issues to be discussed before anything else could be negotiated. The key one for them was the ‘financial settlement’. Now it’s Northern Ireland, because that effectively keeps the UK in the EU.
The British government agreed to the EU’s request and two years have been wasted, when initial negotiations for a trade deal could have been under way (despite what the EU try to pretend). These issues consumed 2017 and are still consuming 2018.
The government’s agreement to the EU’s arbitrary demands deliberately delayed any chance of Brexit by June 2018.
BETRAYAL 4
From June 2016 the EU has engaged in the fastest acceleration in its movement towards a common defence and foreign policy in its history. According to the EU, more progress has been made in the last two years than in all previous years put together.
EU Defence Fund © Brexit facts4EU.Org
During this time, the UK has quietly agreed to all of the EU’s moves and is inextricably linking itself to a defence force which will usurp NATO. It even proposes a Treaty to align the UK’s foreign and defence policies with Brussels.
This is a betrayal of the independence of a post-Brexit UK which we have reported on many times.
BETRAYAL 5
In April 2017 Theresa May sprung a June general election on the people. The Conservative party stood on a manifesto promising to respect the vote to leave the EU, and to leave the Single Market and Customs Union.
The government’s current plans for Brexit are effectively to remain in the EU, with no voting rights, for the foreseeable future and with no end date.
This is a clear betrayal of their manifesto commitments.
BETRAYAL 6
The Labour party stood on a manifesto promising to respect the vote to leave the EU, and to leave the Single Market and Customs Union.
Labour’s policies on Brexit have been deliberately and shockingly vague and movable, but Labour’s Shadow Brexit Secretary has pursued a policy of relentless Remoanerism since the general election.
Just one example of this is the set of tests which they say a Brexit deal must pass before they will vote for it. It is impossible for any Brexit deal to pass these tests – one of which is based on a demonstrable lie – and they know it.
In effect they will vote against Brexit at any cost – a clear betrayal of their manifesto commitments.
BETRAYAL 7
In March 2017 a ‘transition period’ started to be agreed in principle between the UK government and the EU. Shockingly to us, Brexiteer politicians all acquiesced. This has the effect of keeping the UK in the EU, but without any voting rights, until 31 December 2020.
This is two and a half years after the UK was supposed to have left, according to the express promise of the British Prime Minister David Cameron immediately prior to the Referendum.
BETRAYAL 8
In December 2017 Theresa May agreed to a shocking betrayal which effectively allowed the EU to break up the sovereign union between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
After enormous criticism she backtracked in early 2018, with some casuistry over the wording that the EU produced in March, but she now appears to be trying to muscle through a similar arrangement.
BETRAYAL 9
Around March of this year, the unelected civil servant Olly Robbins and his ‘Europe Unit’ based in No.10 secretly evolved their own form of Brexit, which is as close to Remain as it’s possible to get. Theresa May bounced this on the cabinet in July in the form of ‘the Chequers Plan’.

Does he remind you of anyone?
So bad was this that it resulted in the resignation of 10 members of her government including the Brexit Secretary, the Brexit Minister, and the Foreign Secretary.
BETRAYAL 10
Following the Chequers debacle, on 24 July 2018 Theresa May formally announced in Parliament a “Machinery of Government Change”, giving MPs no time to respond before the summer recess.
This gave formal effect to what had already been going on for many weeks. DExEU were no longer in charge of Brexit.
“…the Europe Unit will have overall responsibility for the preparation and conduct of the negotiations, drawing upon support from DExEU and other Departments as required.”
- Theresa May written statement, House of Commons, 24 July 2018
The ‘Europe Unit’ is led by the unelected civil servant Olly Robbins and is composed entirely of unelected bureaucrats. It is universally accepted that the Whitehall element of the civil service is comprised of Remainers, virtually to a man and woman.
The takeover of the people’s vote to leave the EU, by arch-Remainers in parliament and the Establishment, was complete.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Many people reading this gave up a lot to fight for freedom from the rule of the tyrannical towerblocks of Brussels.
Readers took time off work, they campaigned in all weathers, and they even produced their own leaflets because they thought those from the official campaigns weren’t very good. They manned stalls, knocked on doors, and did all they could to combat the overwhelming bias of the Establishment, US presidents, and every institution under the sun.
In our case it has cost our team over £250,000 in lost earnings and other costs.
In the end, against all the odds and almost all predictions, the people won. The victory was so magnificent it even helped to inspire the current US President during his campaign for the White House.
We are now so far beyond the point where we can be polite to the British Prime Minister. We consider her conduct – and that of the anti-democratic Establishment forces – to be a disgrace to her office and an affront to democracy.
This week we await yet another act of betrayal of the British people by Theresa May and her cabal. If democracy is once again to mean anything in our country, Conservative MPs must stop the chatting and plotting, forget their own precious careers, and act to remove her.
Change the Conservative party leadership rules by emergency general meeting or whatever is needed, have a quick leadership election, and put a firm Brexiteer in charge. Someone with the leadership skills which will be required to bring the country together.
NOT a compromise candidate – we need a quasi-wartime leader, thanks to the mess Theresa May has put us in. A real leader could inspire and unite the majority of the country, in the rapid moves which now need to be taken.
We have done this before as a nation, we can do it again.

Message: On this day in 1066, King Harold was killed at the battle of Hastings and we surrendered to the foreign invasion and submitted to their rule. That was the last time that we submitted to foreign rule.
Today, Raab has been summoned to scuttle to his foreign masters in Brussels where the dance of illusion nears its climax and he is required to participate. You have to ask yourself why? Why would a soon to be independent country go running to its abuser when they click their fingers? If they needed to talk so urgently, why didn't they come here? The answer is cowardice. They're afraid that that the secret deal to become a colony of the EU may be uncovered by the masses before it is too late.
I take no joy that many foresaw this as early as 24th June 2016. Some just never saw/believed that the EU will stop at absolutely nothing to prevent us leaving their control and becoming independent, without untrammelled access to funds and assets - completely aided and abetted by our own Government. Every single member of our Government, plus a few others, should be given a white feather.

Message: Mrs May is showing signs of insanity or absolute treachery against the Democratic rights of the People of the United Kingdom. There must be in place safeguards within the British Constitution for impeaching a Member of Parliament, even a Prime Minister. There are precedents. Through the British Constitution impeachments within Government and Parliament have been enacted: just because this hasn't occurred recently surely does not mean we cannot use precedent today? Because, otherwise, why would there be no safeguards against a Dictator abusing power? That in itself cannot possibly be viewed as moral or legal, in the eyes of the Law? This Nation's Human Rights are enshrined in the Magna Carta, a binding ethos in our Legal System, both in the UK and in North America. Here is the Parliament website on impeachment. It is time for the Brexiteers in the Commons to halt May in her tracks and use whatever means at their disposal.

Looking back it seems inevitable now that all these things can only end up with a disaster. I really wish that all the Brexiteer talkers in the Tory party would translate some of their wisdom to action for once!

 BREXIT?
“LET’S DO IT OVER DINNER
ON WEDNESDAY”
“The moment of truth for Brexit negotiations
will be the October European Council.”
- EU Council President Donald Tusk, Salzburg, 20 Sept 2018
The biggest issue in the life of the British nation, and the biggest economic event in the history of the EU since the start of the Euro, does not even merit a formal daytime agenda item at the October European Council on Thursday next week.
Instead, the 25 male and 2 female leaders of the EU27 countries will tuck into a gourmet dinner on the previous evening, Wednesday 17 October. At some point between mouthfuls, some of them will talk about Brexit. Theresa May is not invited to the dinner.
WHAT IS IT WITH BREXIT AND FOOD?
The last (“informal”) EU leaders summit took place in Salzburg in September. There, Brexit managed to make an appearance over lunch rather than dinner.
“At our EU27 working lunch today we had a good discussion on Brexit,
which once again reconfirmed our full unity.”
- EU Council President Donald Tusk, Salzburg, 20 Sept 2018
At the summit in March, Brexit was chewed over briefly - during breakfast.
THE SUBJECT THAT DARE NOT SPEAK ITS NAME
There have been 17 formal or informal summits since the UK’s referendum result. At some of the more significant of these, the British Prime Minister has not been present, or has been present for only a short amount of time.
This isn’t because the EU27 leaders have been spending all their time discussing Brexit – far from it. It’s because the EU27 have wanted to focus on other issues which concern the EU going forward. Many of these issues have been of direct relevance to the UK’s existing membership of the EU, as we have pointed out several times before.
Nevertheless Mrs May accepted that she should not be there.

OBSERVATIONS
At a subconscious level the decision of the British people on 23 June 2016 was a kick in the teeth to the EU27’s leaders, to President Juncker and his Commission, and to the then President Martin Schulz and his phalanx of zealots in the EU Parliament. Of course some readers might say that the kick landed rather lower than the teeth.
From Juncker’s first reaction on 24 June 2016: “This will not be an amicable divorce”, through all the insults from various leaders and officials since, the overall reaction from these cult-like believers in the EU ‘Projekt’ has been hostile.
Once they got over the initial shock, on the surface they have tried to present a calm – almost detached – demeanour. “Yes Brexit is important,” they seemed to be saying, “but we have far more important things to be discussing.”
So unflapped do they want to appear to be, they have relegated Brexit off the official agenda of daytime meetings and placed it firmly on the food table – be that for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
THIS IS HUGE TO THE EU
When the UK leaves the EU – if it ever does – it will be the equivalent of 18 EU economies leaving together on the same day.
Chart © Facts4EU.Org 2018
MRS MAY IS A FIGURE OF RIDICULE
For the EU to continue to play these silly games is perhaps one of the worst indictments of Mrs May’s abilities as Prime Minister of the World’s 5th largest economy.
When she enters the room in Brussels, people should feel her presence. Instead she has been ignored. We suggest that when she enters the room it probably feels more akin to a waiter entering to refill glasses – no-one even notices.
Why did she ever accept having to put up with 10 minutes during dinner to talk to the other leaders about Brexit? When has she ever demanded that Brexit be put solidly on the main agenda, at the top? When has she ever actually asserted herself, on behalf of our great nation?
BREXIT ISN’T THE ONLY EU CRISIS
Yes, we know that the EU has many other crises to discuss. For example at the summit next week they will be talking about the Article 7 notice they’ve issued against Poland and the one about to be issued against Hungary, turning these two members into pariah states who will be denied voting rights and quite possibly denied funding.
They will also discuss once again the disaster that is the EU’s migration policy, on which no-one can agree. This in turn has led to an internal security situation which is alarming EU citizens, and so some new measures will be announced. Typically these are likely to include the further censorship of free speech across the EU – as if that’s the problem which needs addressing.
THE UK POLITICAL SCENE
The British media is full of the internal UK political scene – how badly Theresa is going to jettison Brexit, who is saying what about whom, who might resign, and so forth.
As usual, we have tried to give you a sense from the other side. Without an understanding of the mentality of these EU fanatics, it’s hardly surprising that the UK government has performed so abysmally in the Brexit negotiations. And that’s without saying anything about the clear Remainer agenda of Mrs May.
We hope you find these perspectives interesting. Unfortunately we won’t be able to bring you these – and all the factual analyses regarding Brexit – on anything like the same scale for much longer, unless we see an upturn in donations from readers who haven’t yet been able to support our work.

Remember: It's not THEIR Money,it's OUR TAXES they're splashing on the EU, a serious misappropriation of UK Taxpayers' money, or loaned money on which the working British have to pay interest! For what reason has our Government agreed to hand over £ Billions? What does Britain get in return? Nothing!
Here is a very telling extract from a letter written way back in January 1946 by my 26 year old father: 'Do you honestly think that, except for the few popular risings we have had in this country, that the thoughts of the people have altered the decisions of their so-called representative Government? Of course, we have only had universal franchise and compulsory education for a very short time indeed, so maybe we cannot say what an enlightened British public can do. But it seems to me they have very easily been led by the nose by their leaders and by the 'yellow press' in times past. Very few indeed have had the opportunity or the interest to read enough of the news to form an unbiased opinion on all things our Government has to decide. There is only one paper in the country which prints all the news in fact form rather than giving it a biased political tinge. So what hope is there of the opinion of the people being a fair and clear view of the situation.' 'TWAS EVER THUS!

Message: In my "guest article" of 30/01/18 I offered two hypotheses to explain the wretched way Mrs May has conducted negotiations with the EU. Can there be any doubt that the second, and grimmer, hypothesis is now the more plausible by far? Best regards, Mike Donnan

Message: Please don't hesitate, send your MP a letter, or email. Show your anger at May and her unelected Civil Servants (Oily Robbins) betrayal and stream of lies, attempting to defraud this Country of its Democratic Rights. They need reminding that ultimately we, the British people, WILL have the final say by refusing to vote Conservative in our lifetimes. Shake them up: tell your MP his/her cosy world is about to fall asunder, the clock has started ticking. Find another job, they'll be needing it.They need reminding that their cosy little world is about to fall asunder. There IS power and energy in our many voices bellowing out from all over the UK - We demand a clean brexit, with no ties to the EU. We have spoken.
Here is my message to my Tory MP, venting but semi-polite! Love to read what you all send on Facts4EU web. (Be sure to add your name and address, otherwise they will ignore it.)
Mr Cleverly, As my MP, I write to express my disgust and anger at the betrayal by the Conservative Party, led by a traitorous PM. We will not be slid back under EU bondage. We will not pay taxes to pay for the exorbitant demands made by the EU on us the British People; we know the whole set up is a con. It is designed to fleece Britain, whilst keeping us non-competitive with their own trade connections.
The EU dictators, creators of a one nation state controlled by themselves who were never elected by the people, want what we've got and they want to make an example of us for daring to vote to Leave the EU.
Well, I've got news for you, and all Tory MPs who try to block a clean Leave, people will never vote Conservative again, even former arch supporters. Your own position is not safe, even with your large majority in the Braintree District. Your popularity will be smeared by your connection to the Chequers plan, which you publicly endorsed.
You'd all better start looking for other employment, because the easy job Greasy Gravy Train is over for you all. Any support for Theresa May is seen as treacherous. The only hope for the Tory Party is to overthrow May and put in as Prime Minister a true supporter of Brexit .... and that does not mean you!

 THE BREXIT INDEX
HOW TO COUNTER THE ANTI-BREXIT ‘NEWS’
AND WIN HEARTS & MINDS
Imagine having a resource at your fingertips, allowing you quickly to access the key facts - and many more details if you want - on all the major issues and themes surrounding Brexit.
WHAT IS THE BREXIT INDEX?
The Brexit Index has been built from the thousands of pieces of daily research which we have published. The research comes from the EU itself, from the British government, from official agencies such as the ONS, and sometimes from international organisations such as the IMF, World Bank, OECD, etc.
EXAMPLE - NORTHERN IRELAND BORDER
You want the facts on the Northern Ireland border issue?
No problem. A couple of clicks in the Brexit Index and you’ll have access to summaries, simple charts, testimony from HMRC, from the Irish customs agency, and the EU’s own report proving that the issue is easily solvable. You’ll also have background information, such as the very small economic scope of all of this.
And it’s all based on hard facts from official EU and UK government information.
Don’t forget, the PM is citing the border issue as being the reason for backing Chequers over a Canada+++ or a similar trade deal. Take that away and there’s no reason for her not to ‘Chuck Chequers’!
This is just one of many examples of the issues covered by the Brexit Index.
The Brexit Index is comprehensive, easy-to-use, and there’s nothing like it out there. It has taken 3 months to produce and is based on the last 18 months of our work.
It allows you to find the key information you want on any aspect of Brexit - fast.
APPEAL – WE NEED TO RAISE £20,000 - CAN YOU SPARE £10?
To complete the job we need to raise £20,000 fast. The full economic cost of the Index and its contents is well over £200,000 but we’re asking readers for help in raising just £20,000 of this.
Thousands of people read our work, and of course they distribute it to thousands more. If every reader gave £10 we could get this project live and we’d have some money left over to keep going with our essential daily output of facts, which you normally can’t read anywhere else.
In reality we know that only a small proportion of our readers will feel able to help, so if you can give more than £10 to this worthwhile project it will go live faster and you would be making a very practical contribution to achieving a full, clean Brexit.
All sponsors’ names will appear at the bottom of the index, unless you prefer to remain anonymous. There will be a section for ‘VIP sponsors’ who gave more than the minimum.
THE BREXIT INDEX COMES IN 3 VERSIONS
1. The standard Brexit Index - £10 sponsorship
Available free to all MPs, plus new £10 sponsors of the Index. Contains the key research articles on each topic and our observations. An absolute ‘must-have’ for all Brexiteers. Single individual annual licence.
2. The Brexit Index Pro version - £50 'Pro' sponsorship for enthusiastic individuals
Available free to all MPs, plus new sponsors donating £50 or more. Contains the key research articles for each topic with our observations, plus many sub-topics allowing you to find more specific information at a click. Single individual annual licence.
3. The Brexit Index Campaign version - £5,000 sponsorship
The ‘Campaign’ version of the Brexit Index is available to major Brexit campaigning organisations and to the mainstream media. Contains the key research articles for each topic with our observations, plus many sub-topics allowing you to find more specific information at a click. Allows 10 licences per sponsorship. Major discounts available for smaller organisations and those groups who are ‘friends’ of Pro-Brexit Facts4EU.Org.
SOUNDS GREAT, HOW DO I SPONSOR THE BREXIT INDEX?
This is easy. Please use one of our payment methods below. Choose the level of donation you wish to make and tell us that you’re sponsoring the Brexit Index. We’ll then confirm back to you. (Please use either of the 'quick one-off' methods below, ignore the description, and simply choose the amount.)

THE PUBLIC – AND MPs - DESERVE THE FACTS ON BREXIT
The Brexit Index will deliver the most definitive source of easily findable facts on all aspects of Brexit. We hope you will support this major new tool in the fight to achieve the full clean Brexit that the majority of the British public voted for - and still want to see delivered.
Can you give this project some 'people power'
and help us to get it out there as quickly as possible?

 POLISH EU COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCES
€350m UK-BACKED FUNDING...
Elżbieta Bieńkowska, Commissioner for the Single Market
...FOR POLISH BUSINESSES
“10,000 Polish small and medium businesses to receive better access to finance”
“This is the largest ever EIF direct guarantee transaction in Poland under an EU financing programme.”
- EU Commission, Brussels, 11 Oct 2018
Yesterday the EU Commission announced another €350 million of assistance to Poland. This funding is guaranteed by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), which is one of the many funds we listed in our 4-part series on ‘the Brexit bill’.
The UK will be liable to guarantee its share, under Theresa May’s plans to accept the vast £39 billion pay-off to the EU which is scheduled to start next year.
Elżbieta Bieńkowska, Commissioner for the Single Market Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, said:
“I'm excited that thanks to this new agreement and European Investment Fund direct guarantees, we will be able to support over 10.000 Polish SMEs and provide them with financing worth 1.5 billion PLN.
“Polish small and medium businesses are competitive and often what they need is just an additional boost to launch new products, expand beyond their local markets and develop their research and innovation capacity.
“This new EFSI-backed agreement will help them do just that. The Investment Plan for Europe is already expected to provide 43.000 Polish small businesses with better access to this European finance instrument and the new agreement will contribute further to this EU-Polish success story on the ground.”
OBSERVATIONS
What you have just read above is the kind of thing we see on an almost daily basis from the EU. In this case the beneficiary is Poland, as it often seems to be, but it could easily have been another of the less-established economies making up the EU27.
One thing we virtually never see is an announcement from the EU about something which specifically benefits the UK. In fact we simply can’t remember seeing one in the last three years, although perhaps we blinked and missed it.
ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THIS?
There is a discussion to be had about the whys and wherefores of any EU loan guarantee, investment, grant, or other disbursement. That is hardly the point.
We would suggest that the key point here – one we have made on countless previous occasions – is that the British public is kept in the dark about what the EU actually does, and what it does with UK taxpayer money.
The next time a Remoaner MP opens his or her mouth in your presence, you might want to ask them what they really know about the day-to-day workings of the EU.

Message: I question the legality of Brexit on the grounds that our Sovereign Parliament did NOT agree to the results of the referendum being made binding BEFORE asking the People to vote. This RETROSPECTIVE 'moving of the goalposts' and now making Brexit binding is surely not only a breech of Parliamentary Procedure but also ILLEGAL as it breeches Electoral Commission Rules as the endgame has been altered AFTER the result has been declared. Unlike General and Local Elections referendums are NOT run on a 'First Past the Post' basis and automatically binding, they are only intended to ADVISE unless Parliament has first agreed to the result being binding, which in this case they did not do as my attached copy of their EU Referendum Bill proves. As ONLY 1 in 3, 37%, one-third, 17.4 million out of a total 47 million British People actually expressed a will to leave the EU, A MINORITY, that is a FACT, so Brexit does NOT have the mandate of the People as is being FALSELY claimed. You claim to present FACTS so please inform your readers that Brexit has NO legal foundation for the reasons I have given....or prove that Parliament DID in FACT agree BEFORE the vote took place that it would be binding.

If any of the facts4EU team, or any readers would like me to put any questions to Mr Clark I am happy to do so. I suggest either the questions are put on the facts4eu site (as comments here), or I give my consent for facts4eu to forward any questions, or comments to my email address. I will make sure Mr Clark receives the questions personally. My message to him is simple. Message: Words fail me! To think our Parliament subscribes to this rip-off by the EU is beneath contempt. Is UK Prime Minister May going to stand up and say "NO". A recent Facts4EU article showed UK money was used to build a section of road in Poland, yet we can't find money to attend to UK pot-holes. Now it appears we provide finance for Polish businesses as outlined in the above article.
Rightly or wrongly, I have for some time thought the EU commission would grab as much British taxpayers money as they can get away with, before we exit, and I believe we'll see them take much more from the UK.
It is time the UK turned the tables to demand a complete audit of all EU assets. The EU need reminding they owe the UK millions as we are presently a major stakeholder. We should in my opinion withhold the NET amount we never see again.
The majority of UK MPs should remember they have already devalued UK democracy by going against the largest democratic vote in British history by causing so many issues, instead of simply walking away from the undemocratic EU. If the EU wish to trade into UK markets, let them do the running.

LATEST NEWS

TO ALL READERS
Don’t forget, it will all come down to Parliament in the end.
And one thing all MPs respect is the size of their majority.
If they lose that, they lose their job.
OBSERVATIONS
MPs have a significant influence on whether or not we achieve any meaningful form of Brexit.
It's a simple fact that the majority of MPs do not represent the majority of the public when it comes to Brexit. For them to have views which are contrary to those of their constituents on such an important topic may seem troubling to many readers. However what is far worse is that a substantial number of these Remainer MPs have become emboldened in the last two years.
Mrs May's government has pursued a Brexit strategy which in our opinion has been both weak and incompetent. This year it has become increasingly evident that the Prime Minister had no intention of delivering the full, clean Brexit which people expected when they voted in 2016. To our list of 'weak and incompetent' we must therefore add 'deliberately deceitful'.
With such a Prime Minister in power, Remainer MPs have felt able to make extraordinary statements. Last week we even had the former Attorney General, Dominic Grieve, openly advocating a second referendum before the first has been implemented. He openly favours the so-called 'People's Vote'. This brazen and shameful conduct by a former minister demonstrates how the idea that the largest democratic vote in British history should be dismissed has gained currency. We consider it disgraceful that anyone who relies on a democratic mandate for his job - and who allegedly believes in democracy - can spout such anti-democratic words.
THIS IS WHY YOU MUST ACT TODAY
The Brexit Battle Pack took time to produce and we published the first version on 11 August. We did it because we believe it's essential that many thousands of people should pressure their MPs - and the Remainer broadcast media - and tell them to respect the democratic vote, whether they believe in it or not.
We're not asking you to make any arguments about Brexit to your MP, merely to tell him or her that you expect them to respect the result of the EU Referendum and vote to deliver a full, clean Brexit.
Don’t get angry, do something!
The Brexit Battle Pack contains practical information and is designed to be used. You can read commentary about Brexit everywhere. This Pack is about taking action. If you want a full, clean Brexit, please take that action today.
Please make a start today and read ‘BREXIT BATTLE PACK’ now!

The Democrats and Veterans Party (DVP) is the latest pro-Brexit organisation
to put its name behind the Brexit Battle Pack.
John Rees-Evans, Leader of the Democrats and Veterans party
A new political party which started in February this year, the Democrats and Veterans party has grown fast and now boasts almost 2,000 members. Since launch they have already contested nearly 50 local elections and their vote share has been as high as 28%.
The DVP’s manifesto contains a strong pro-Brexit message and its leader, John Rees-Evans, is uncompromising:
“It is the people who are sovereign not the politicians. Our sovereignty is not theirs to give away.
I wholeheartedly commend the Brexit Battle Pack as an invaluable means of equipping ourselves with effective tools to combat the betrayal that is being perpetrated against the British people by our corrupt political class.”
John Rees-Evans, Leader, Democrats and Veterans Party

OBSERVATIONS
Put simply, 13 pro-Brexit groups have all backed the same Brexit initiative, and we are hoping that another group might join today.
For the last three years we have received countless emails asking why pro-Brexit groups don't work together. In fact there has been some cooperation but that has not been obvious to most people. Here, however, is a wonderful example of how groups who have political differences - as well as different views on the nuances of how Brexit should best be delivered - have come together in one common purpose.
We really hope that readers of Pro-Brexit Facts4EU.Org, and supporters of all the organisations endorsing the Brexit Battle Pack, will use it today to make their voices heard to MPs and the media!

  2. The first 10 years of huge post-Brexit payments to the EU
  3. The EU Honeypot – UK to pay £9.5 billion for EU pensions for EU staff, over 45 years

THIS IS A SUPERSTATE
IN THE MAKING
Below, the Pro-Brexit Facts4EU.Org team shows the full extent of what the British people have been paying for – and will continue to pay for after March 2019 - under Theresa’s Chequers plan
This is no ‘common market’ or ‘trading bloc’
This is a supra-national government, soon to be one single superstate
Pro-Brexit Facts4EU.Org exclusively brings you the list of everything for which the EU has demanded payment, and which it hoped the UK would accept in the ‘divorce bill’. To the EU’s amazement, the Theresa May government acquiesced.

THE EXTRAORDINARY SCOPE OF WHAT THE EU HAS BEEN DOING
- AND WHICH NO-ONE TOLD YOU ABOUT
The list below has been compiled from the EU's 'Essential Principles on Financial Settlement'. The EU's demands cover everything they could possibly think of, and they involve the UK making payments to the EU for many years to come.
Some of the items mentioned will not be spent and entered into the EU’s accounts for as many as 10 years after the UK's departure. In the case of pensions this extends to 5 DECADES, as we reported yesterday.
THIS TIME WE’RE GIVING YOU THE FULL MONTY
Regular readers will know that at Pro-Brexit Facts4EU.Org we summarise lengthy documents and complex issues, knowing that people don't have time for the details. However in this case we are showing the entire annexes from the EU's financial demands document, for two reasons:-
  1. To show everyone what the UK taxpayer has been paying for in the last 45 years, and
  2. To demonstrate the magnitude of the EU's demands for a divorce bill

OBSERVATIONS
Even if you don't have time to read the annexes above - or fear you may lose the will to live if you do - just look at the length. You may wish to take stock of the extent to which the EU has spread its interests far beyond any concepts of mutually-beneficial trade, or even of cooperation on areas of common interest between member states.
We have previously run articles detailing various of the items in the lists above, showing how money is being spent by the EU unbeknownst to the British taxpayer.
To many readers, some of the items will be somewhat surprising. For example, why does the EU have a "Trust Fund for Columbia"? And yes, we know that the correct spelling is 'Colombia', otherwise they're talking about a film studio, but it seems that the EU doesn’t.
And why is the UK expected to pay for "the protection of the euro against counterfeiting"? Do they help to pay for the pound's protection against counterfeiting? No. We could go on.
MRS MAY ACCEPTED THE EU'S SEQUENCING
Following the EU Referendum, one of the first areas the EU insisted should be agreed by the UK was their 'financial settlement'. This was one of the three areas which, the EU demanded, had to be agreed before anything else would be discussed.
Bizarrely the UK government agreed to this imposition instead of insisting that the UK’s exit should be discussed in its totality. To separate out three areas – and particularly to exclude the future trading relationship - was almost inexplicable in our view, and we argued this strongly at the time.
This is one aspect that helps to explain why two years have passed with virtually no progress on the fundamentals of Brexit.
The other two areas the EU highlighted from the beginning were citizens’ rights and the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic. In practice these two areas were mostly covers for the EU’s real demand: they wanted to get the principle of a huge payment from the UK agreed from the start. Money was the key driver.
(There is another key issue of the EU using the Irish border to keep the UK in regulatory alignment, thereby preventing the UK from becoming far more competitive than the EU27, but we have covered this before separately.)
MONEY TALKS
We happen to think that this whole subject is quite important to Brexit and to the people of the United Kingdom. Theresa May has agreed in principle to pay the EU £39 billion. That’s a lot of doctors, nurses, medicines, police, elderly care, repaired roads, school teachers, etc.
This Prime Minister’s performance over Brexit has been pitiful. In the past two years when we started to criticise what the government was doing, we were taken to task by some readers. No longer. Now all we receive from Conservative voters are emails telling us they will not vote Conservative again while she remains Prime Minister.
CRUNCH MEETING TODAY
At 5pm today Theresa May will chair a meeting of the Brexit Sub-Committee of the cabinet, where she will outline the latest thinking of the unelected civil servant and Brexit Boss Olly Robbins, who is officially in charge of the Brexit negotiations.
Unless Mrs May listens to the stern warnings she is now receiving from many Tory MPs and 'chucks Chequers' and any thought of staying in some form of the Single Market and Customs Union, it looks to us that the Conservative Party will suffer serious consequences. Feelings are now running very deep indeed and these consequences could prove to be felt for very many years to come.

Message: It's an absolute outrage that Mrs May and the government are agreeing to these demands.I have emailed my MP yesterday ahead of today's crunch meeting in Cabinet and made it perfectly clear that unless they come to their collective senses on Brexit and deliver what we voted for, to leave, then never again after 30 + years will I vote Tory and not sure if I will bother voting again. These are very very sad days for democracy and our Country.

Message: Missing from that list, compiled for the start of EU 'negotiations' is PESCO which of course May has been signing up to since the referendum and has said that we'll be 'in'.
All we've heard from Treason May is that 'we want to continue to participate' in some agencies. I want her to provide a concise list of what those 'agencies' are, the costs and t's and c's of participation, and the perceived benefit of each. In a free and independent country, this would be called transparency. If it's a 'good thing', why are they hiding/obscuring this information? Judging by the latest betrayal, it seems to include a 'fundamental element' (the EU's own description) - the Customs Union.
We voted to leave the EU. We didn't vote for a 'deal'. That was a 'nice to have', but must be provably better than just leaving. Reneging on this will have ramifications far beyond the 'vote' as this is about our country and democracy. Perhaps someone should provide them with a dictionary so that they can look up words like 'leave', 'honesty', 'integrity' and 'transparency' as well as a few other less polite terms to understand what these terms meet.

Facts4eu.org is non party-political and not supported by any Brexit campaign.
We present facts we've researched from official government and EU sources.

Now that the Referendum has been won, we have 2 main aims:
1.  To provide bullet-pointed and factual summaries of key points, to help people to ensure Brexit is delivered in full.
2.  Crucially, to allow MPs and campaigners to give reliable and consistent facts to the public.
Please don't hesitate to contact the Editors if you can volunteer in some way, and particularly if you can support us financially.
NEUTRALITY:    Facts4eu.org focuses on information which shows that the UK is better off regaining its independence and growing globally. The entire weight of the Establishment is promoting the opposite case, so this site is just one small voice trying to redress the balance.
