Today we can reveal some facts about Mr Tugendhat which many of his fellow MPs and certainly the majority of the British public will not be aware of. The issues we raise are so serious as to have the potential to scupper Mr Tugendhat’s chances of leading his party and of then becoming Prime Minister.
Brexit Facts4EU.Org Summary

Observations
Mr Tugendhat is by all accounts an affable and intelligent man. He will no doubt point to his years of service in the Army Volunteer Reserve as demonstration of his loyalty to his country.
The problem is that whatever other qualities he has, he holds French nationality in addition to his British nationality. It is said “a man can’t serve two masters” and when it comes to the British public choosing a potential Prime Minister, it is inconceivable to us that they would choose a man whose official status includes being French.
This alone would be difficult enough, but it gets worse
Any quick scan of Mr Tugendhat’s family connections throws up other difficult questions. His wife, Anissia Morel is a French national. She has been working for the French government and held senior positions during the critical years post-Referendum. She was adviser to the French Ambassador in London from 2018, covering the UK’s exit negotiations, the Transition Period, the UK’s exit, and all the post Brexit difficulties. Following this she moved to become adviser to the French Foreign Minister from 2022, covering the UK's repeated attempts to negotiate with the French over their illegal migrants crossing the Channel.
To be clear, we are making no suggestions of any impropriety or disloyalty to his country by Mr Tugendhat. It remains the case, however, that he holds French nationality in addition to British nationality.
It is also the case that he is married to a woman who has been working for ‘the other side’ for years. We are not making any suggestions that his wife Mme Morel has done anything other than serve the French government and France's interests to the best of her abilities.
When it comes to other relatives, it is clear that Mr Tugendhat's family has been steeped in the EU - and in the UK’s EU membership - for years. Mr Tugendhat is the nephew of a former Vice President of EU Commission, Lord Tugendhat. With all his family connections, it is hardly surprising that Tom Tugendhat campaigned strongly for Remain in 2016.
Given that his TV interviews have been silent on all of the above, we felt our readership and the public had a right to know.
