A Global Discussion Forum special, organised by Facts4EU, on sovereignty and democracy

Focusing on the internationally totemic issue of Northern Ireland’s people being subject to EU laws over which they have no say, and over which their politicians have no vote, our guest speakers will address us on fundamental issues of sovereignty and democracy. We are certain these will resonate in the UK and Europe, and for our global audience.

Dan Boucher, former Head of Communications for the DUP party
And our Special Guest Star, former MEP and former Deputy Leader of Reform UK, Ben Habib

Each keynote speaker will address us for about five minutes, following which you can question them before we move to the next speaker. The Master of Ceremonies and Moderator is Steven Tripp of Commanding the Narrative, who will be running this fast-moving, global event for us from Sydney, Australia.

This was how Nigel Farage described Ben Habib’s decision on Thursday to disassociate himself from Reform UK - the fastest-growing political party in the country.

A masterful and compelling orator, Ben will deliver his views on the Northern Ireland Protocol, first agreed by Theresa May and then by Boris Johnson, before being amended under Rishi Sunak’s disastrous ‘Windsor Framework’.

Ben will undoubtedly be asked by the audience about his split from Reform UK and Nigel Farage’s remarks in the wake of his announcement. Tune in this morning, live, to find out what Ben has to say!

1 TPH. The failure and chaos of the Cons under BJ and LT have delivered a Labour Govt. The fight for the right of politics between Cons and Reform will probably keep Labour in power for a second term.

Talk today of NI being disenfranchised, invisible borders and how the EU is punishing UK with NI. Brexitears forget that an Invisible border would need both sides to agree and the EU were never going to agree. As for punishing, Brexit was naive planless strategy, the EU didn’t punish the UK, the UK didn’t have a plan and was sold on slogans.

No wonder the EU has been able to divide the UK after Brexit … and the Conservatives have been allowed to use Brexit for an open-border experiment.
Calling it all a shambles is an understatement.

As the EU imposed ever increasing directives on it's members, and accorded itself an ever greater range of competencies.
With fewer and fewer vetoes available.

What was your plan?
How would you deal with an EU directive that countermanded a law made passed by our own elected parliament.

Where would you see Britain being as a member of the EU.

If you cannot produce a clear plan for Britain as an EU member, then you are not qualified to critique the leave campaign.
