Observations
It is an honour for us to have our Chairman selected to be the guest on this 'Christmas Special' podcast from Sydney. Steven Tripp's guests have included some very interesting individuals, including :
- Senator Malcolm Roberts (Queensland Senator)
- The Hon Mark Latham MLC, former Labor leader
- Prof Will Happer (Physics professor at Princeton and former advisor to Donald Trump)
- Dr Peter McCullough (world renowned cardiologist)
- and Nicola Charles - former Neighbours star, now turned politician and commentator.
This has been quite a year for UK-Australia relations. Firstly we have the UK-Aus Free Trade Agreement which is now really motoring. Secondly, as we reported again on Wednesday, the CPTPP Trans-Pacific Free Trade Agreement has just gone live, and the Australian parliament is due to ratify this in full on Christmas Eve. And finally, Sir Keir Starmer and Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese agreed a 'Climate and Energy Partnership' last month, while at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa. (Okay, we are much less excited about the final item.)
Against this back-drop, Steven will be asking our Chairman about our readers' favourite topics in 2024, as well as his thoughts on the key developments throughout the year. Our Chairman will be easy to spot between the two of them : he'll be the one sporting a Johnny Depp 'Pirates of the Caribbean' style eye-patch, following major eye surgery today!
We hope that as many readers as possible will find this to be an excellent excuse to put off Christmas shopping for a little longer and join our Chairman on this live 'Christmas Special' all the way from Sydney, Australia.

NOTICE : Facts4EU has now scaled back to publishing 5 days-a-week
For nine years we have worked seven days-a-week. As far as we are aware we are the only organisation of our type to have done this. We are grateful to those of our readers who have made donations but sadly the level of our funding is now such that we must make it stretch for as long as we can. This means team members taking other paid work and reducing our output to five days-a-week.
Please, please help us to carry on our vital work in defence of independence, sovereignty, democracy and freedom by donating today. Thank you.
Politicians and journalists can contact us for details, as ever.
