Brussels Mayor brings in police to close off Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman

A Brussels Mayor yesterday issued a decree to police to close a peaceful political conference including former UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman and Nigel Farage. Emir Kir imposed a police cordon around the event on the grounds of ‘public order’. The police entered the building and then prevented any further delegates from attending.

There was no evidence of any disorder or threat of it – inside or outside the event. This was a politically-motivated decision by a socialist mayor to deny the right of freedom of speech.

Despite being major international news, the BBC did not include it in the top nine news items on their website yesterday.

Who and where?

This happened in a region of Brussels, the capital of the European Union, and was worthy of the actions of Kim Jong Un, the dictator of North Korea. It was a clear breach of ECHR human rights and appears to have been an illegal act.

The Mayor in question is Emir Kir, son of Turkish immigrants, who was expelled from the Socialist Party for supporting extreme Turkish policies. He was Secretary of State of Brussels in 2004 before becoming Mayor of the Saint-Josse area of Brussels in 2012. He has been a federal deputy since 2014. His actions yesterday were supported by other Brussels Mayors.

This event had already had to be moved twice. It should have taken place in the Concert Noble hall in Brussels but the plug was pulled last Friday. The organisers then tried with Sofitel Brussels Europe on Jourdan Square in Etterbeek, but the plug was pulled there too. They subsequently found the final venue but then the Mayor acted.

The Belgium PM is pointing out there was a breach of the ECHR- a breach of EU Fundamental Rights- a breach of the Belgian Constitution.

We should congratulate the fascist & bigotted mayor of Belgium for clearly demonstrating what the 'caring & inclusive' nature of the left & socialism really means, which is neither caring nor inclusive, & what is in store for the naive that think that it's the utopian ideal that they seek & how they abuse power to impose their personal views & suppress any dissent.
Without his actions, few would have even been aware of this event which is presumably why the anti-bbc wouldn't report on it, just as they don't report on the many 'cancelled' people or event hosts threatened into cancelling agreed events happening all around the UK. It doesn't exist unless the anti-bbc says so. Do people still watch this now pitiful organisation? At least it was seen elsewhere in Europe & the World.
Sadly we are seeing, more & more, the shutting down of all dissent & opposing views all across the western world by puppet govts & organisations like the EU, controlled by vested interests & not the people, & the imposition of autocratic & nannying rules. The simple fact that any alternative view to the 'official' narrative, whether Govt., science is shut down is an indicator that there is no substance underlying or justifying their assertions. If there was, they would welcome debate & challenge, & be able to properly prove their assertions as truth does not need censorship.
The UK's cackling current opposition, who seemed to find such censorship hilarious shows how dark our days ahead might be. It's a shame that there isn't a viable alternative to the uni-party.
