Yesterday Lord Frost delivered an important speech in Lisbon, entitled: “Observations on the present state of the nation, 12 October 2021”.

Fine words however this issue has been going on too long already. Lord Frost is still talking about fixing the serious problems of the Protocol but the problems are so fundamental that using the term ‘fix’ is rather worrying. This is not just a sausage war. Restoring full and unfettered trade between the British mainland and N.I. is one issue. Bringing N.I. out of the EU single market and removing EU rules is just as big, if not a bigger issue. Brexit will not be ‘done’ until ALL of the U.K. leaves the direct influence of the EU.

I never bothered watching a 40 minute video. I'd rather read a book. If the title is anything to go by then this was the UK asking for favourable treatment, despite signing an agreement. The word of the UK means far less now than it ever did.

Fascinating argument above that the UK is asking for favourable treatment. Can anyone name a sovereign independant nation that must obey the laws of another group of nations. Trade agreements between nations are normal, as is the independant adjudication procedure that are used to settle disputes. That's all we are asking for and refusing to be bullied by the apparatchiks employed by the eurocracy to force their bidding on the weak.

John 4, it might not have occurred to you - BUT, of course you can just listen to a video and do something else meanwhile! You don't necessarily have to watch it especially as with your description Lord Frost just stands there and talks - that's basically it. : )
If you read the article properly you'd have seen his speech was only about half what you claim and the text version was provided. Do you just look at the pictures in books?
