Brexit Facts4EU.Org is pleased to help promote a big Brexit event taking place in the North-West tomorrow. For one day only, well-known figures and thinkers will be stimulating audiences with their views on the opportunities and challenges ahead for Brexit Britain.

The event has been launched by former Brexit Party MEPs Claire Fox and Henrik Overgaard-Nielsen under the banner “Change Politics 4 Good”. Both these MEPs were very helpful during all our work in the lead up to the UK’s formal departure from the EU on 31 January 2020 and we ran articles on them both.

“Our principal aim was to ensure that the democratic mandate of the British people was respected and that the results of the referendum were upheld. This is something that Brexiteers across the country, from all walks of life, have collectively worked hard to achieve.

“We felt we’d like an opportunity to come together in the North West and celebrate that fact. And while our movement started as a campaign to leave the EU, it has evolved into something far greater. For the first time in decades radical political reform has managed to capture the imagination of people across the political and social spectrum and foster the hope of a politics that truly works in the interests of the people.

“With Brexit now a reality, at least formally, how do we wish to go forward to ensure this democratic agenda for a better politics remains relevant?”

I ask will we actually change politics for good, Brexit should only be the start.
Can MP's and the Lords make the right decisions, or should the Public be consulted more frequently.
Major decisions are being made on infrastructure by Politicians, such as transport and the energy sources we are allowed to use to heat our homes and cook our food.

As we have asked the people if we want to be in the EU, we should now ask the people what sort of society we live in !, the people should decide punishments for common crimes and then the courts apply them if found guilty. I know that the EU are afraid to have a 'Singapore on Thames', but lets create a Singapore style punishment system here in the UK . Singapore is proof that corporal punishment works, and works well ! of course with a british transparency/slant on any such system.

to have real change now We have left the EU, We should abolish the Lords change the voting system be able to have an elected Head of State Rebuild Our Emergency Services the Armed Forces the list goes on
