 THE RISE & RISE OF
SWEDISH EUROSCEPTICISM
EU SEES ‘POPULISM’ GROW
IN YET ANOTHER MEMBER STATE
In yesterday’s general election, a significantly increased number of Swedes backed the only one of the main parties to have Eurosceptic policies.
The Sweden Democrats, led by Jimmie Åkesson, surged in the popular vote and their number of seats gained were more than any other party. The SD party favour an EU Referendum.
PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 parties with similar names. The Sweden Democrats are the Eurosceptic party. The Swedish Democratic Party are the 'establishment', pro-EU party.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY – SWEDISH ELECTIONS 2018
  • Eurosceptic Sweden Democrats gained most seats compared to 2014
  • Sweden Democrats now have 62 seats in the Rikstag
  • Vote share jumped by 36% to 17.6%
  • The other parties form 2 major alliances and only 22,191 votes separate them
  • Support for the 2 main parties fell
Chart © Brexit Facts4EU.Org 2018
No party gained overall control, as is usual in Sweden. The vote is split between 8 main parties and a coalition is always required to form a government, unlike in the UK.
At the time of writing (02.45am, Monday) the 2 major coalitions were neck and neck. For a government to be formed it appears that there is much ‘horse-trading’ to be done.
There were only 22,191 votes separating the 2 main alliances in Sweden, resulting in a majority of 1 seat for the Red-Green Alliance.
Given that most of the mainstream media in the UK will follow the narrative of the Establishment media in Sweden, here at Brexit Facts4EU.Org we will look at the results of the election from a different perspective.
THE RISE AND RISE OF THE EUROSCEPTIC SWEDEN DEMOCRATS
Here is what has happened to the Eurosceptic Sweden Democrats party so far this decade:-
Chart © Brexit Facts4EU.Org 2018
Whichever way you look at this, it is clear that a ‘populist’ party in Sweden is gaining in popularity.
OBSERVATIONS
THIS IS BAD NEWS FOR THE EU
Today we predict the EU will once again announce that the result of the election is a triumph of “EU values of unity and solidarity” over “populism”.
The reality is rather different of course, as it almost always is with EU pronouncements. In every election in EU member states since the Referendum, Eurosceptic parties have done better than pro-EU parties in terms of vote share. In some cases, such as France, this hasn’t been enough to secure overall victory. In others, Eurosceptic parties have triumphed, eg in Italy and Austria.
On top of this, the EU now has yet another member state which doesn't have a permanent government. It remains to be seen how long it will take the Swedish politicians to sort this out amongst themselves. The EU can only hope it doesn't take 6 months, as it did after the German elections last year.
THE SWEDISH POLITICAL SCENE
It is immensely difficult to report on Swedish politics. Brexit Facts4EU.Org prefers to report facts but these can be difficult to find in Sweden. When a society’s Establishment chooses to stop reporting on things it finds uncomfortable, we struggle to bring you official information. This applies both to the media and the State authorities.
Some of our team have spent time in Sweden. Despite the Swedes’ – shall we say – ‘interesting’ approaches to social policies over the past few decades, we like the Swedes themselves. There is no doubt that they lived a utopian dream for a while.
Perhaps it was this feeling of invincibility that led to them taking the highest number of migrants per capita in the whole of the EU, and thinking that their society would not change.
That said, it still doesn’t explain some of the stranger aspects of the country now. To give but one example from last week, there was a TV debate just ahead of yesterday’s general election.
After the debate, the Swedish national broadcaster (SVT) condemned some of the remarks of the leader of the Sweden Democrats, saying that they were degrading and against the democratic mandate of public broadcasting.
This is the Swedish national broadcaster.
Frankly, any concerns we have in the UK about our media are as nothing compared to what has been going on in Sweden for many years.
It’s probably for the best that we say no more.
ON A HAPPIER NOTE
It's always nice to leave things on a positive note and this time we'll do it literally.
Whilst the UK music industry totally dominates popular music amongst the EU28, it is seldom recognised that Sweden has a strength in this area. Look on the credits of some of your favourite CDs and you will see Swedish names amongst the sound engineers and producers. Many of these people work in London (as well as in the United States) and are very highly rated in the industry.
Finally, if you're on your way to work this Monday morning, how about listening to one of the greatest pop songs of all time? This is all Swedish and some of us still love it to this day!

EXCLUSIVE, SHOCK REPORT FROM BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG
HAMMOND & FARAGE
BOTH COUNT AS BREXITEERS TO THE BBC
CONCLUSION FROM TWEETS OF BBC EDITOR,
LIVE POLITICAL PROGRAMMES
ANTI-BREXIT BIAS OF BBC IS EXPLAINED IN ONE TWEET
BBC CONSIDERS ALL MINISTERS & SHADOW MINISTERS ARE PRO-BREXIT
In an incredible exchange with Brexit Facts4EU.Org on Twitter this morning, the BBC’s editor of live political broadcasting told us that the BBC considers all government ministers to be on the side of Brexit.
In precise terms he made the astonishing admission that the BBC does NOT consider all government ministers to be “Non-Brexiteers”. To strip out the double negative, this means that the BBC justifies its anti-Brexit output by effectively stating:
All government ministers are considered as pro-Brexit
Rob Burley is the Editor of Politics Live, the Andrew Marr Show, This Week, Westminster Hour & Newswatch.
He went on to say that “the two main parties have a policy of enacting Brexit”, thereby including Labour frontbench spokespersons in the mix of what constitutes someone who is pro-Brexit. In other words:
All Labour shadow ministers are also pro-Brexit
This is the first time we have heard the BBC justify its anti-Brexit bias in this way.
In effect, it means that the BBC counts Philip Hammond in the same category as Nigel Farage in their count of ‘Brexiteers’ and ‘Non-Brexiteers’ on their programmes.
Here is the key tweet in the BBC’s exchange with Brexit Facts4EU.Org this morning:
“Trouble is you count members of the government as non-Brexiteers depending on where they stood in June 2016. We don’t and won’t and shouldn’t count that way. The two main parties have a policy of enacting Brexit and they are on a great deal.”
Note how emphatic this defence is. Mr Burley actually says: “We don’t and won’t and shouldn’t count that way” when referring to whether someone is pro- or anti-Brexit.
For completeness, here is the exchange:
BBC Live Political Programmes Editor's exchange with Brexit Facts4EU.Org, 09 Sep 2018
OBSERVATIONS
Firstly, we knew the BBC does actually think it is providing balanced output on Brexit, (and is therefore deluded), but we had no idea just how bad the problem is.
Here is the composition of the cabinet, in terms of who voted Leave or Remain.
(Correct as at 30 April 2018)
72% of the cabinet voted Remain, and yet the BBC considers none of them to be "non-Brexiteers" when calculating the Brexit balance of ministers appearing on its programmes.
This is simply breathtaking. Arch-remainers like Philip Hammond would seem to be regarded by the BBC as representing the Brexit point of view, when counting up the numbers, simply because the government claims to be delivering Brexit.
This is the first dedicated article we have written specifically about BBC bias, although we have previously mentioned it in passing. We are not fanatics and we report facts. In this case we can see no other interpretation of the comments of the BBC's editor of live political broadcasting other than the one we have given.
Now we must call for immediate enquiries by Ofcom, the BBC Governors, and the House of Commons Media Committee into this blatant, partisan approach by the BBC. Unfortunately these bodies are all part of the Establishment and will therefore be useless, but we must ask them to stand up regardless.
We would call on the various ‘BBC-watch’ organisations and for readers to take this up. We also ask all Brexit organisations to take up this cause and publicise it widely.
We simply don’t have time to fight the BBC and fight for Brexit at the same time.
That said, we dropped everything this Sunday morning (including any hope of a rest, with some members of the team having started before 3am Sunday morning as usual, 7 days a week), in order to bring you this story of national importance.
Finally, we did ask Rob Burley of the BBC for an email exchange on this, but he didn't reply to the request.

Message: I choked on my glass of Prosecco last night when I read your Twitter exchanges with Rob Burley. I know I'm just a an old thickie who voted Leave, but my understanding of Mr Burley's comments are that 1) The Government are pro Brexit AND 2) so are The Labour party.
If that is the case why have we had over two years of debate between the two major parties since Remainers decided they didn't understand the result of the 2016 referendum? If both Labour and the Tories are in agreement over Brexit, then there is no need to debate. If there is no need to debate Brexit, then there is no need for a Shadow Labour front bench spokesperson like Keir Starmer debating with the likes of Dominic Raab. They agree.
If debate is redundant, then so should every programme that Rob Burley is associated with be redundant.
FACTS are not a one day thing Mr Burley.

 'BREXIT LOST,
BREXIT FOUND'
A BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUNDAY EDITORIAL
(Unusually long for us, but we hope you'll read it.)
THE BEST AND THE WORST OF BREXIT
Jeremy Hunt with German Foreign Minister
FOREIGN SECRETARY HUNT EXPOSES CHEQUERS NONSENSE
In an article written for the Mail on Sunday today, Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt lays bare the very best and the very worst of Brexit.
In the same newspaper today, his predecessor Boris Johnson produces a damning assessment of Mrs May’s entire Brexit strategy. You can read both articles here, but you may find it useful to read our commentary below first.
With Mr Johnson’s colourful turns of phrase – and his leadership ambitions - we suspect that the rest of the media will give far more prominence to Mr Johnson’s article than to Mr Hunt’s. We will therefore focus on what Mr Hunt wrote.
1. BREXIT LOST – LIES, DAMNED LIES, AND POLITICIANS
Mr Hunt supports the Chequers Plan devised for Mrs May by the unelected Remainer civil servant Olly Robbins, head of the “Europe Unit” at No.10.
The Chequers Plan was decided upon just over 2 months ago. That’s 2 months of a complete waste of time for the country, when we don’t have 2 months to waste.
This is the plan that was created without the knowledge of those ministers in charge at the DExEU Brexit Department at the time: David Davis and his deputy, Steve Baker. It is the plan which no-one above the age of nine could in all conscience say represents Brexit in any meaningful sense.
And yet here is what Mr Hunt writes in today’s Mail on Sunday:
“In brief, our plan will take Britain out of the Single Market and the customs union, end the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice, and halt the payment of vast sums into the EU budget. It will end freedom of movement and withdraw from the Common Agricultural and Common Fisheries policies.”
The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, Foreign Secretary, writing in Mail on Sunday, 09 Sep 2018
No, it doesn’t Mr Hunt and you know it.
THE GOVERNMENT HAS ALREADY BETRAYED THE PEOPLE, MR HUNT
Mr Hunt’s words (and he is repeating the Prime Minister’s words) can only rely on a bizarre version of reality where part of their claims refer to some mystical, undefined point in the future. In other words their Get-Out-Of-Jail card will say: “We said Brexit ‘will’ be delivered, but we didn’t say when that moment would be.”
So let’s first look at timeframes.
The United Kingdom voted for Brexit on the understanding that Article 50 would be invoked “the next day” [Source: David Cameron, then Prime Minister], and that the UK would be out of the EU in a maximum of 2 years from that date.
The last time we looked, the UK was still a member of the European Union on 24th June 2018 – 2 years from the date that Article 50 was supposed to have been triggered.
We should have been out 2 ½ months ago.
Putting that important point aside, the next promised date for Brexit is 29th March 2019. So next we will judge Mr Hunt’s words in that light too.
TESTING HUNT’S WORDS AGAINST THE STATUS OF THE UK ON 29 MAR 2019
Under the Chequers Plan of 6th July 2018, the following is proposed:-
SINGLE MARKET
The UK will “maintain a common rulebook for all goods” with the EU, including agricultural products, after Brexit. A treaty will be signed committing the UK to “continued harmonisation” with EU rules.
In other words, we must obey the rules of the Single Market in perpetuity. The infamous “common rulebook” is of course the “EU rulebook”, as the UK will have no say over it.
And the UK will have to apply these rules to all products, whether or not they are intended for the EU market. This is not the case for all other independent, non-EU countries. The UK’s goods exports to the EU account for just 7.3% of UK GDP [source: EU Commission], but all goods produced for internal and international consumption will have to obey the EU’s rules.
The additional words on obeying a panoply of EU regulations will prevent the UK from becoming competitive in any real sense.
CUSTOMS UNION
The borders between the UK and EU will be treated as a “combined customs territory”. The UK would then apply domestic tariffs and trade policies for goods intended for the UK, but charge EU tariffs and adopt EU policies and standards for goods which will end up heading into the EU.
No-one – including Mr Hunt and the Prime Minister – can tell us how this would work and they anticipate that a system for dealing with any such differentiated tariffs and standards will take years to produce.
With regard to the UK doing trade deals with the rest of the world under the terms of the Chequers Plan, any such deals will be emasculated to such an extent that one of the major financial benefits of leaving the EU will be lost.
In any event the EU has already said such a system of customs controls as envisaged by Chequers would be illegal under its rules.
JURISDICTION OF THE EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE
Mr Hunt and the PM claim that the UK will be outside the jurisdiction of the ECJ.
Simply untrue. Decisions by UK courts would involve “due regard paid to EU case law in areas where the UK continued to apply a common rulebook”.
CONTINUED MASSIVE PAYMENTS TO THE EU
Mr Hunt says that Chequers will “halt the payment of vast sums into the EU budget”.
Er, no it won’t. On 30th March next year the UK will continue to pay vast sums to the EU for another 2 years of the ‘Transition Period’, plus ongoing payments after that for a variety of EU programmes which the government intends to sign the country up to.
Not only that, but the Prime Minister has promised to pay an exit bill in the arbitrary amount of £39 billion to the EU – for what, we’re not entirely sure, but they’re calling it “the financial settlement”.
FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
Freedom of movement is an indivisible part of the ‘four freedoms’ held sacrosanct by the EU. To get around this, the Chequers Plan aims to re-brand this as “a mobility framework”. This does not end free movement, nor will it end the (racist?) policy of favouring EU citizens over those from other countries around the world.
This is set to be a re-branding exercise.
COMMON AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERIES POLICIES
Finally, the CAP and the CFP. Agricultural products are specifically included in the Chequers Plan when it comes to a treaty to follow the EU rulebook.
Our friends at Fishing for Leave are devastated at Michael Gove’s (DEFRA Secretary) U-turn when he announced that the UK will continue to operate under the EU’s rules after 29th March next year and throughout the “Transition Period”.
Whilst the UK may pretend to be out of the CAP and CFP after the Transition Period, in practice it’s clear to us that so many compromises will be reached that British farmers and fishermen will not be clear of EU control.
2. BREXIT FOUND – HUNT’S CONVERSION, AND DEMOCRACY
After all the nonsense of the bulk of Mr Hunt’s article, where Brexit has been entirely lost in the Remainerism of the government and the Civil Service, finally there are words of good cheer from Mr Hunt.
“As it happens, I voted to ‘Remain’ in the referendum in 2016 but I have found my views changing since then.”
“Firstly, the concept of freedom of movement is an inescapable element of the EU project – and it has been firmly rejected by voters in Britain.
“Only by leaving the EU can we satisfy the emphatic desire in the country to control our own borders, voiced in the referendum and again in last year’s Election, when 82 per cent of the public voted for parties that pledged to stop free movement.
“Secondly, because of our very different histories, the pooling of sovereignty for collective security is in the DNA of our European friends, whereas parliamentary sovereignty is in ours. Ending our membership of the EU is a vital way to restore British parliamentary sovereignty and respect a strong desire to ensure decisions are taken closer to the people they affect.”
“In the end, democracy depends on respecting the power and legitimacy of the ballot box and accepting whatever the electorate decides.”
The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, Foreign Secretary, writing in Mail on Sunday, 09 Sep 2018
These are important words, with which we agree. In these words, Mr Hunt has ‘found Brexit’.
What a shame that he feels the politician’s need to continue to back the aberration which is the Chequers Plan, when it stands in direct contradiction to his words about respecting the decision of the British people.
HUNT'S DAMASCENE CONVERSION
Finally, Mr Hunt’s own ‘Road to Damascus’ and supposed conversion to Brexit apparently necessitated stop-offs at eight EU countries this summer.
“Since becoming Foreign Secretary in July, I have visited eight EU countries and met more than half of my European counterparts. This has led me to reach two conclusions.”
The Brexit Facts4EU.Org team have visited more than that and we would gently suggest to Mr Hunt that he didn’t even need to get out of his chair in the Foreign Office to understand what the EU is, and why it’s essential we free ourselves from its clutches.
He could have started by reading Brexit Facts4EU.Org's output of facts researched from the EU, since before the Referendum....

 DEAR REMAINER MP,
CAN YOU TELL US
WHICH COUNTRY THIS IS?
(CLUE: THE EU IS SPENDING £10 BILLION THERE)
THE EU IS FUNDING THINGS LIKE FILM DISCUSSION YOUTH CLUBS
AND HAS GIVEN ITS 45 MILLION PEOPLE VISA-FREE ACCESS
Yesterday Brexit Facts4EU.Org gave an example of the EU spending taxpayer money for Polish roads, with an extra £0.29 billion being gifted for some motorway improvements.
We were criticised by Remainers, who felt that it was perfectly normal for British taxpayers to fund poorer countries in the EU. That's an opinion, but should it not be done with the informed consent of the British people? And shouldn't MPs have a say?
Today we show how the EU also spends outside its borders, on countries it hopes will one day become part of the European Union.
EU ALSO SPENDS UK MONEY OUTSIDE THE EU
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
BRITISH TAXPAYERS PAYING FOR
NON-EU COUNTRIES LIKE UKRAINE
  • EU Commission launched £10 BILLION support package for Ukraine in 2015
  • Money is being spent on hundreds of projects ( see examples below)
  • Ukraine is one of 16 countries backed by EU's "European Neighbourhood Policy"
  • Ukrainians were granted visa-free access 18 months ago
  • UK Remainer MPs can't vote on any of this
The overall spend outside the EU is huge, running to hundreds of billions, but here we look at just one country, Ukraine, and just a few day-to-day examples. Ukraine is particularly relevant because 18 months ago the EU granted 45 million Ukrainians visa-free access.
In the first year alone of the new visa-less regime, over half a million (555,000) Ukrainians flooded in. Whilst Ukrainians are supposed to leave after 3 months, there seems to be no control over this.
It’s important to note that only Ukrainians with biometric passports are allowed visa-free access. This dramatically limited the number who could come. As more Ukrainians obtain the new biometric passports, these numbers may rise significantly.
BACKGROUND TO UKRAINE
Ukraine has been in a state of civil war since early 2014.
In March of that year Russia invaded and annexed Crimea, which prompted the sanctions against Russia which still exist to this day. The east of Ukraine has a high proportion of Russian-speaking people and that part of the Ukraine has been in engaged in bitter fighting with western Ukraine for the past 4 years.
OVERALL EU FUNDING FOR UKRAINE
3 years ago, the EU agreed a support package for Ukraine of €11.2 billion (£10 billion pounds) which continues to be spent. This comprises numerous elements from various EU bodies.
Ukraine is one of 16 countries benefiting from the EU’s “European Neighbourhood Policy” (ENP). The ENP is chiefly a bilateral policy between the EU and each partner country and governs the EU's relations with 16 of its eastern and southern neighbours.
The full list of countries is: Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Armenia, Georgia, Libya, Syria, Azerbaijan, Israel, Moldova, Tunisia, Belarus, Jordan, Morocco, Ukraine
EXAMPLES OF EU EXPENDITURE IN UKRAINE
SOME BRITISH MPS MIGHT BE HAPPY
FOR THEIR CONSITUENTS' MONEY TO BE SPENT BY THE EU
But do they know what it has been spent on in the Ukraine?
  • £15,300 – For film discussion clubs for Ukrainian young people
  • £14,700 - Waste sorting (recycling bin project) for an ex-Ukrainian village now in Russian Crimea
  • £449,200 - For the study of the social impact of Ukrainian adults going abroad to work
  • £2.9 million - Crimean Tourism Diversification and Support Project
The above are just 4 examples from thousands of ‘micro-projects’ funded by the EU over the last few years using British taxpayers’ money. In each case the EU funded 80-100% of the money.
The final example we gave above is particularly interesting. The Crimea was invaded and annexed by Russia in March 2014, and yet the EU's project continued until Feb 2015.
It’s the Russians who are now benefiting from the £2.9 million given for that ‘project’.
Crimea is shown in light-green in the clickable map to the left.
It’s important to note that because of the different cost of living of Ukrainians, monies given to them by the EU are worth over 10 times what they would be worth in the UK. In other words, the £15,000 donation for film discussion clubs for young Ukrainians to talk about human rights would be worth approximately £150,000 to UK youth clubs.
OBSERVATIONS
One of the problems that arch-Remainers have is idealism founded on ignorance. Put simply, the EU isn’t what they think it is.
THE EU AS A UK WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION AGENCY
Naturally there will be a proportion of Remainers who believe in the redistribution of wealth, and who welcome the EU’s role in spending UK taxpayer pounds on as large a number of countries as possible. We suspect that many of these will be people who haven’t actually had to earn money in the first place.
Yesterday we gave one example of how the EU acts as a massive wealth redistribution scheme within the EU, showing how Polish roads (and many others across the EU) are being funded at the UK’s expense. We were attacked by Remainers on 2 grounds: some simply claimed we were lying, and some felt that it was natural that the UK should fund projects in certain poorer countries across the EU.
Today we’ve given another example, this time showing how the EU spreads its largesse to countries which aren’t even in the EU. For an overview we’ve shown how the EU has given Ukraine billions. And as an example we’ve shown a few of the ways the money is spent.
WHAT ABOUT DEMOCRATIC OVERSIGHT?
We must once again address Remainer MPs who go on and on about parliamentary democracy, second referendums, a second “People’s Vote” (the first being the EU Referendum), and – crucially – their strong belief in Parliament voting on absolutely every aspect of Brexit.
To these Remainer MPs we must ask two questions:
1. Do you even know very much about what the EU actually does, and how it spends UK taxpayers’ money?
2. Why aren’t you the slightest bit concerned that you have no say and no vote on any of this?
It’s still not too late for Remainer MPs to become better informed and to get behind the democratic decision of the Briritsh people.
The examples we’ve given aren’t one-offs. We see these things every day and night in the course of our research. And we don’t make anything up – we don’t have to. All of this information is available from the EU, if you know where to look. It comes from official sources.
FOR REMOANERS WHO LIKE TO DISTORT EVERY ARGUMENT
Naturally in a post-Brexit, independent United Kingdom, the British people and its government will continue to be pro-active around the world. This will involve financial, military, humanitarian aid, or other support, depending on the circumstances.
The point of articles like these is to show that the EU acts far beyond any notion of being a trading bloc, and that British MPs have no say over the vast majority of what it does or what it spends.
The second main point to make is that we like to give real examples, rather than writing long essays full of words but lacking in concrete facts. The examples of Poland (yesterday) and the Ukraine (today) are merely that - examples. We have absolutely nothing against the peoples of either country and we would expect the UK to be fully engaged with all countries around the world after we leave the EU. The difference is that it will be the British government making the decisions, and the British public who can vote them in or out.
We produce the largest volume of original work on Brexit on a daily basis, not lists of links to newspaper articles. Please support us with a donation if you can, to keep us going. We don't have London offices, nor secretaries or assistants. Unlike other sites we don’t have rich backers and we need every £ which patriotic individuals like you can give us.

 A BREXIT SUCCESS STORY!
8 BREXIT ORGANISATIONS COME TOGETHER
TO BACK A BREXIT INITIATIVE
We are asked on a very regular basis why Brexit organisations don't come together and combine their efforts. Our answer is always the same. We've made numerous overtures over the past 3 years and we're very happy to work with anyone.
Readers will have seen articles from us supporting other Brexit groups. To give just a few examples, we promoted Fishing For Leave's national events around the country's ports a few months ago. Two weeks ago we promoted StandUp4Brexit's initiative to persuade MPs to come out publicly against Mrs May's Chequers Plan and back a true Brexit. And today we're promoting the first of [Removed]'s national events. (This will appear at the top of this page shortly.).
Today we just want to celebrate with you the fact that 7 other Brexit groups have endorsed our "Brexit Battle Pack and Toolbox"! That's 8 Brexit groups in total, coming together in the national interest.
The latest endorsement yesterday was from the Time Party, a new pro-Brexit political party which was founded very recently. Here is what they said:
“The Time Party fully endorses the tactics set out by @Facts4euOrg in its excellent Brexit Battle Pack, designed to inspire thousands of ordinary people – including democracy-respecting Remain voters – to make their voices heard.”
The Time Party
Reactions have been really positive so far - from the public and from 'professionals' alike. When we get time we will post some comments on our BBP page, but there have been too many for us to do this yet.
We are hoping that more groups will offer their endorsements over the coming days - if you have any suggestions of organisations, with names and contact details, please let us know. We would like as many pro-Brexit organisations as possible to promote this, so that a large number of people can start fighting back!
We would love to know how you get on with any actions you're taking from the Pack. Any emails to us can be for publication, or not, as you wish. We just think people might like to share their experiences?

Message: EXTRACT FROM THE BBC CHARTER AND AGREEMENT 1.3.2

The Agreement accompanying the BBC Charter specifies that we should do all we can "to ensure that controversial subjects are treated with due accuracy and impartiality" in our news and other output dealing with matters of public policy or political or industrial controversy. It also states that our output is forbidden from expressing the opinion of the BBC on current affairs or matters of public policy, other than broadcasting or the provision of online services. The Accuracy, Impartiality and Politics, Public Policy and Polls sections of the Editorial Guidelines incorporate the BBC Trust's code as required under Paragraph 44 (5) of the Agreement, giving guidance as to the rules to be observed in connection with Paragraphs 44(1) to 44(4) of the Agreement.

Come on everyone! Let's tackle the BBC on this. Shockingly, why are they breaking their own Charter? Does this have huge consequences? Lose their ability to operate unless they clean up their act immediately?

- EU ANNOUNCEMENT YESTERDAY -
EU TO SPEND £0.29 BILLION
ON ROADS IN YOUR REGION?
The overcrowded S5 motorway in Poland
ER... NO. THE MONEY’S FOR POLAND – AGAIN
Yesterday the EU Commission did it again. They slipped out the announcement of an extra €0.32 billion euros (£0.29 billion pounds) gift to Poland, to improve even more of its roads.
To ensure that few people would be aware, they made the announcement in French only.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
BRITISH TAXPAYERS PAY FOR MORE
ROAD IMPROVEMENTS IN POLAND
  • EU Commission gives an extra £0.29 billion to Poland
  • Money is for improvements to some local motorways
  • This is on top of £0.37 billion given last week, for some rail improvements
  • UK Remainer MPs can't vote on any of this
Regular readers know that after years of experience, Brexit Facts4EU.Org always looks closely at EU announcements made in French. 9 times out of 10, the announcements made in French are those which the EU doesn’t want the British press to look at too closely. And the press didn’t, but we did.
SO HOW ARE UK TAXPAYERS’ FUNDS BEING USED THIS TIME?
The EU has a fund – well, it has thousands of funds but this is just one of them – to “Connect Europe” (CEF). The current size of this fund for the 2014-20 Multiannual Financial Framework is €30.4 billion (£27.4 billion pounds).
Note for Remainers trying to pick holes: Technically the CEF is worth €19.2 billion, but to this you have to add an additional €11.3 billion earmarked in the Cohesion Fund for transport infrastructure projects in Cohesion Fund-eligible Member States, i.e. those whose GDP per inhabitant is less than 90% of the EU average. This includes Poland.
This pot of £27.4 billion pounds is used to improve the transport, telecommunications and energy network infrastructure across the EU. In practice a large part of it goes to improve the lives of millions of people in countries which supposedly have less-developed transport and infrastructure networks than the UK.
WHAT IS THE NEW £0.29 BILLION FOR THIS TIME?
A week ago we reported on the announcement of another donation from the EU to Poland, worth £0.37 billion pounds. The purpose of that money is mostly “to reduce inconvenience” for the people of the Polish city of Lodz, travelling from one city railway station to another.
The new £0.29 billion announced by the EU (in French) yesterday is to improve some more sections of roads in Poland.
According to the EU Commission, the money will be invested in:-
“the construction of a motorway section between the cities of Nowe Marzy, Świecie and Bydgoszcz, located in the north-central part of Poland, along from the S5 motorway.
“In addition, € 64.6 million from the Cohesion Fund will enable the construction of a motorway section between the Zakręt and Lubelska junctions of the S17 express road connecting Warsaw to Garwolin.”
Commenting on this further largesse, the EU’s Regional Policy Commissioner Corina Creţu said:
“Once completed, these highways will provide new economic opportunities for citizens and businesses in Poland, stimulating industry, tourism and trade. Polish citizens will thus be able to benefit from shorter travel times and improved road safety.”
EU Commission, 06 Sept 2018
Work on both projects is expected to be completed by 2020. This is after the UK has supposedly left the EU, but before the supposed end of Theresa May’s “Transition Period”, during which the UK will continue to pay massive contributions to the EU budget, despite having no say on how the money is spent.
OBSERVATIONS
REMAINER MPs AND THE MEDIA
Do most Remainer MPs and most of the mainstream media have the first idea how UK taxpayers’ money is spent by the EU? No, we think not.
Can Remainer MPs vote on the allocation of UK taxpayers’ money across the EU? No they can’t.
Can they vote on the billions that have been transferred to Poland? That’s a no, too.
When Remainer MPs talk of “meaningful votes” in Parliament or a “People’s Vote”, are they being hypocritical, considering they have no say on the vast amounts of UK money being spent on projects to improve the lives of citizens in other EU countries? Yes.
WOULD YOU LIKE IMPROVEMENTS IN YOUR REGIONAL ROADS AND RAILWAYS?
We’re sure you would. Well, tough. Very little will come the UK’s way.
Let’s just take one part of the funding that Poland and other countries receive. Part of the funding for the road improvements we report on above comes from the “Cohesion Fund”.
The Cohesion Fund alone is worth £57 BILLION POUNDS for the current budget framework. And the United Kingdom’s receipts from this massive fund?
ZERO. NOTHING. NADA.
The money all goes to Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
And whilst we don’t blame the Poles for extracting everything they can from the EU budget which they are net beneficiaries of, we think it’s important for the British public to know the basic facts.
The CEF fund is part of a larger fund called the ERDF. According to the EU Parliament’s equivalent to the House of Commons Library service: “In the 2014-2020 programming period the biggest ERDF recipient is Poland, with an allocation twice that of the second on the list, Italy.”
DON’T GET ANGRY, DO SOMETHING
If the above makes you angry or irritated, we have a way for you to help deliver a true Brexit and get the country out from all of this.
It’s called the “Brexit Battle Pack” and it contains a toolbox which you can use to influence Remainer MPs and the mainstream media to respect the result of the Referendum. It contains lots of practical ideas which we hope many thousands of people will use.
Created by the Brexit Facts4EU.Org team, it has now been endorsed by 6 other pro-Brexit organisations: [Removed], Get Britain Out, The Freedom Association (Better Off Out), Veterans for Britain, Fishing For Leave, and The Bruges Group. We hope more will join today and over the weekend in getting this out there.

A question I always ask myself when Anna, Chukka, Cleggy et al continue to remind me how thick I am is: How does x benefit the UK? E.g. How does the EU Cohesion Fund benefit the UK? How does not having a vote benefit the UK? The other question I ask, taken from one of your contributors is:
What are the tangible benefits of remaining in the EU? I think of these as two 'killer' questions.
Can you produce a list of further 'killer' questions to ask?
A BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG QUESTION TO REMAINER MPs
WHAT TYPE OF EU
DID YOU VOTE
TO STAY PART OF?
© EU Commission
An accusation regularly levelled at those who voted Leave is “You weren’t told what type of Brexit you were voting for.”
This accusation has been rebutted many times. We voted to leave the EU, full stop. And taking back control means becoming a fully independent country again. Not hard to understand.
(And on that basis Mrs May’s Chequers Plan resembles no type of Brexit whatsoever.)
However, why is the question almost never turned around? Why aren’t Remainer MPs asked what type of EU they want to stay in?
THE FALLACY OF ‘REMAINING IN THE EU’
Listening to Remainer MPs, readers might imagine that remaining in the EU means the status quo - a “Let’s stay as we are and everything will be alright” option.
The simple fact is that this is very far from the truth. The few British Remainer MPs who know anything about the EU know this, but will never admit it. The rest know very little and have thought about it less.
Over its lifetime, and at an increasing pace, the EEC/EU has changed beyond all recognition. What was once supposed to be a trading bloc has morphed into an institution whose overriding ambition is “Ever Closer Union”.
Eventually the EU will have reached the point where so few matters of policy and nationhood will be left to the governments of member states that the slide into a ‘United States of Europe’ will happen as an inevitability.
SO WHAT TYPE OF EU WOULD REMAINER MPs BE REMAINING IN?
It is very tempting to ask Remainer MPs what changes the EU plans to make over the next 5-10 years. We’re not talking about minor changes to laws, but basic, fundamental things. Things that British people might like to know about.
Do they have any idea? The vast majority don’t. And those who might have heard of the odd EU plan here or there will certainly keep quiet about it, as we have almost never come across a new EU plan that would go down well in the UK.
HOW FAST WILL THE EU CHANGE?
The simple answer is that the EU will change as fast as it can, without citizens becoming aware of the changes. This is well documented.
Let’s just take one individual, who happens to be – inexplicably – the unelected President of the EU Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.
CHANGING BY STEALTH
“I'm ready to be insulted as being insufficiently democratic, but I want to be serious... I am for secret, dark debates”
“Of course there will be transfers of sovereignty. But would I be intelligent to draw the attention of public opinion to this fact?”
“We decide on something, leave it lying around, and wait and see what happens. If no one kicks up a fuss, because most people don't understand what has been decided, we continue step by step until there is no turning back.”
EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, various statements
Can anyone imagine a British Prime Minister uttering any of the above statements and remaining in post? The problem is that Juncker was simply expressing the mindset of the EU elites. And in the Alice in Wonderland world of the EU, such statements simply aren’t very shocking.
SECOND EXAMPLE - THE PACE OF CHANGE
Just in case the likes of Chuka Umunna MP tries to tell you that no changes will happen quickly, and nothing will happen anyway without the approval of the UK Parliament, perhaps he could explain the following.
This is the EU’s de facto Foreign and Defence Secretary, former Communist Ms Mogherini, in June last year, talking about the EU’s developments in common defence:
“Many believed and told me that it would have proven to be impossible for us to have a first Command Centre in Brussels for our military and training missions or that it would take us years, decades to do it.
“It took us a few weeks. And we decided it together, still at 28, and we did it.”
Note that the UK government was part of this decision, despite it taking place a year after the Referendum. Mr Umunna and his colleagues didn't get a vote on this.
And in case that doesn’t shut him up, here’s another example, this time from an official EU promotional video:
“Over this past year our common [EU] defence has advanced more than in the previous 60 years.”
Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy, Official 2017 video
‘Advanced more in one year than in the last 60 years’? That doesn’t sound like changes are coming slowly.
The EU is changing constantly and the pace is quickening. Many substantial changes are being proposed, all of which would affect the UK if it stayed a member. And almost none of which are being reported.
OBSERVATIONS
Would you like us to work on an article summarising the EU to which Remainer MPs want us to stay shackled?
We believe it’s fundamental that the British people should know that there is no status quo to go back to and there never was, even before the Referendum.
We have the written and oral evidence for the changes which the EU is planning. We seriously doubt that even arch-Europhiles like Mr Chuka "Never-Off-Our-TV-Screens" Umunna MP, with his lawyerly tongue, would be able to justify these changes being in the best interests of the British people.
We have in mind a summary piece, highlighting the EU’s plans, saying “You were never asked what type of EU you wanted to stay in.”
Selecting the changes and summarising them into bullet points will not be easy, but it could be a powerful piece for all readers and for pro-Brexit politicians.
Please let us know if you like the idea.
(And if you can help us with a donation to cover our current huge losses, we wouldn’t say no.)
IN MEMORIAM
Finally, the Brexit Facts4EU.Org team would like to dedicate this article to the memory of an elderly lady, mother of a reader and supporter, who passed away on Monday and sadly didn't get to see a newly independent United Kingdom. RIP.

We were supposed to become Regions of the EU on 1/1/2020, as stipulated in Lisbon Treaty, this was changed, when Brexit came about. This is why May is stalling over the negotiations, she's attached 'a transition' period, which takes us to 31/12/2020, by which time we wont be able to pull out!

Message: I know quite a few people who before the referendum intended to vote remain because we were already in the EU and doing more or less ok. They wanted to remain with the safe status quo (as they perceived it) rather than risk everything on the off chance that we may do something better. Some of them changed their minds once they started to do their own research (I pointed them to your website). However, I still find some people who think the idea of a Federal Europe and the slow elimination of individual nation states is nothing more than a conspiracy theory. I think a summary of future EU plans based on genuine facts would be an excellent article. Keep up the good work.
Name: Graham Cresswell, Hampshire UK, and Barbados      Date/Time: 06 Sept 2018, 10.36am
Message: QUESTION: Am I a "think northern racist"?
I was the local organiser for Vote Leave and so it's a fair cop - apparently I started off as a "swivel-eyed loon", then I transmogrified into a "thick northern racist", and finally according to a well-known politician, I had a "working class tantrum" on the day of the referendum.
Actually, one of the reasons I have supported Brexit from the very beginning is because free movement forces upon us a racist immigration policy. Plainly, immigration is a numbers game and, if you allow unlimited immigration from one group of nations, you have to control, much more vigorously, immigration from all other nations, perhaps by creating a "hostile environment".
There's a serious moral problem here because we are hugely indebted to our Commonwealth citizens (mostly black) whose forefathers fought and, in many cases died, in two world wars, to liberate Europe from tyranny, servitude and shame. Now, the descendants of those liberated Europeans (mostly white) can walk into the UK without let or hindrance while the descendants of those who fought for that liberation have to jump through endless hoops to be allowed in.
I worked in Barbados in the 70s and my first boss was a black consultant surgeon. His father had volunteered for the RAF and flew Stirling bombers during the war. His aircraft was shot down and he and his entire crew were killed. They are buried in a Commonwealth War Grave in Belgium. My erstwhile boss went to visit the graves as part of an organised tour. When he got to Belgium, all the white people were waved through immigration and all the black people, whose relatives were equally dead, were given one-day visas. When the party got to Germany, they had exactly the same experience. This sucks.
Since then, and before I retired, I spent 15 years negotiating in Europe trying to set realistic, evidence-based regulations for medical standards for airline pilots within the "harmonised" regulatory environment that was then the Joint Aviation Authorities (now superseded by EASA). During the course of that experience I concluded that the EU is actually a busted flush that will eventually collapse under the weight of its own contradictions and the Euro. There is no prospect that Scandinavians will ever see problems through the same lens as southern Europeans, still less agree to the same solutions. Don't get me wrong - I love Europe and Europeans, especially southern Europe and its peoples. I just despair of what the EU has done to it.
I quite quickly came to understand that the EU is a corrupt, venal, undemocratic and racist protection racket run by, and for the benefit of, failed politicians.
I don't think I'm a racist - I live for half the year in Barbados where 96% of the population and many of my friends are black. I'm certainly not northern - I was born in the East End of London. I may be thick but since I was a qualified doctor specialising in aviation medicine and also an airline pilot, I doubt if I'm at the bottom of the heap.

Message: Yes, yes, yes! Excellent idea to turn the argument on its head. What is it about the EU that we really, really need?? What is so rewarding about a restrictive life in a Federal EU, brought about by stealth? Might concentrate a few minds, but only those who put their own country first. Be interesting if all MPs were made to declare any financial interest in keeping close ties with the EU. Our system is a Democracy, hard won and developed over centuries, not a dictatorship which is the EU way.
Name: Brexiteer, Braintree, Essex, UK      Date/Time: 06 Sept 2018, 09.10am
Message: Not a word from any Remainer MPs about the British EU army, wonder why that is? Was this development debated in the House of Commons? Or is that national security and not discussed? My MP, James Cleverly, when I broached this subject with him said I was mistaken and it was not in the Chequers Plan, the UK was not signed up to an EU army. Mind you he also said we could renegotiate the Withdrawal Treaty after we had left the EU if we didn't like it! I notice the British Paratroops involved in this EU army exercise in Bosnia are wearing EU insignia on their uniforms.
The EU, since the 2016 referendum has accelerated its integration programme, it's almost after the UK out vote, as if they see the dream of a Federal Europe disappearing before their eyes. The EU army, Foreign Policy, Currency, Schengen, no contribution rebate. Any Remainer MPs wanting to rejoin the EU are committing the UK to joining on these new terms. This is no longer a trading block of nations, the idea we were sold in 1972. The EU has moved on and Remainer MPs will have to sell this new EU vision to their voters. Previously federalism was by stealth, now it's in the open, good luck selling that dream to the voters.

Message: Remaining in the EU means we will have accepted that the £ will in due course be replaced by the euro. A look at high unemployment, poor economic growth prospects and rising national debt in southern Europe provides an indication of the economic misery the euro will bring. Ultimately these weakness will be used by the EU as a tool to gain increased political control as has been clearly shown in the case of Greece, Italy and Spain.

ANOTHER BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG EXCLUSIVE
UK TO PAY FOR 56% JUMP
IN 2019 EU MIGRANT COSTS
© Italian government
EU COUNCIL APPROVES HUGE RISE FOR NEXT YEAR
Yesterday in Brussels the EU Council approved the EU’S £150 BILLION POUND budget for 2019.
At the same time in Luxembourg the EU Commission was slammed by the European Court of Auditors in a report criticising how the 2014-2020 budget is being spent.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
WHAT THE UK WILL HAVE TO FUND NEXT YEAR
UNDER THERESA MAY'S PLANS
Increases for 2019 compared to this year
  • Total EU Budget 2019: €164.1 BILLION
  • Migrant budget to soar by 56%
  • 'Juncker Youth' budget to rocket by 141%
  • Youth exchange project to increase to €2.6 billion
  • EU pension contributions to rise over 6% to €2 billion per year
EU’S 2019 BUDGET
The EU Council’s revised budget for the EU for next year (2019) amounts to a total of €164.1 billion. That’s almost £150 billion pounds.
The overall increase is 2.1% on 2018, but the headline figures mask some extraordinary increases in spending on certain areas.
EU’s MIGRANT CRISIS FUND ROCKETS 56% NEXT YEAR
The EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund will soar by 55.8% compared to 2018. That’s an enormous increase in just one year.
Under Theresa May’s Chequers Proposals the UK will pay towards this, and the UK will pay a disproportionately higher proportion of the increase compared to the majority of the EU27 member states.
‘JUNCKER YOUTH’ FUND LEAPS BY 141% NEXT YEAR
EU Commission President Juncker started a programme to involve the youth of the EU in social projects, where they must sign an oath to commit to the EU’s ‘values’. The EU even gives this a military title: “the European Solidarity Corps”.
Next year its funding will leap by 141%.
Staying on the subject of young people, the EU’s profligate youth exchange programme, called ‘Erasmus+’, will see its funding jump by 10.4% to €2.6 billion (£2.3 billion pounds) – again, in just one year.
We have shown in previous research that only 0.5% of British higher education students use this programme, despite young Remainers claiming that Brexit will deny them the opportunity to study abroad.
THE EU ARMY
One item enters the EU’s budget for the first time. It wasn’t in the 2018 budget because it involves spending on an area that was only agreed last year.
It is called the ‘European Defence Industrial Development Programme’. This is just one small part of the EU’s overall planned expenditure on common defence forces.
From nothing, this fund has been allocated almost €¼ billion euros for 2019 alone. And this is just one small part of the EU's overall planned military expenditure.
FINALLY, THE EU LOOKS AFTER ITS OWN
Technically, the EU Commission and the EU Council need the EU Parliament to approve this budget for 2019. They have ensured this in two ways.
  • The EU Parliament’s overall budget has been increased by an inflation exceeding amount, to fractionally under €2 billion. That’s £1.8 billion pounds to fund a body for one year, which is profoundly anti-Brexit and ideologically on the wilder extremes of United States of Europe thinking.
  • Secondly, pensions. The EU’s pension contributions are set to rise by another inflation-busting amount, to just over €2 billion for 2019. The increase is 6.2% and no explanation is given for it.
OBSERVATIONS
Members of the Brexit Facts4EU.Org team have scanned the BBC and other mainstream media outlets overnight, but bizarrely we can find no mention of the facts contained in our report above.
Perhaps it’s because it took many hours of research through the night, digging down into hard-to-find documents and appendices, in order to analyse the figures.
What was readily available was the fact that the EU Council has approved its budget for 2019, which is a revision on the version presented to it by the EU Commission.
That in itself should be news. After all, the UK will be paying for a significant part of the EU’s budget next year, if Theresa May gets her way. And a total budget for 2019 of almost £150 billion pounds is hardly a trifling sum.
UK TAXPAYER TO FOOT BILL FOR RAPID ESCALATION IN EU MIGRANT COSTS
We happen to think that our readers would like to know if they will be expected to fund a 56% increase in the cost of the EU struggling with its migrant crisis.
Let’s not forget, we’re talking about the budget for next year, which starts in under 4 months' time. This is not like Philip Hammond’s Treasury (‘Treachery’) Department, forecasting that Brexit will be a disaster for the country in 15 years’ time. This is the here and now.
Isn’t this all the more reason to ‘CHUCK CHEQUERS’?
OFFICIAL AUDITORS SLAM THE EU FOR WASTE AND FOR UNDEMOCRATIC PRACTICES
In the opening of this article, we mentioned a report from the ‘European Court of Auditors’, released yesterday, which slams the way the EU is spending its money.
This is in addition to another Ombudsman report yesterday which slams the rushed and secretive appointment of President Juncker’s former Chief of Staff, the German Martin Selmayr, as Secretary-General.
We would love to cover both of these stories in detail, but regrettably we don’t have the funding to do so. You can read a little about the undemocratic appointment of Selmayr in some of today’s press, but we doubt the other story about the auditors' report slamming the EU’s lack of control over spending will be covered.
Thank you SO much to two individuals who made kind donations yesterday. Could you possibly consider joining them, and helping us to get important news out there?

We the British taxpayer should get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing we are helping all manner of countries and despots around the world, bringing their standard of living up, whilst bringing ours down to their level.

Message: This is absolutely disgusting. The whole idea of brexit is to get away from dishing out our money for no benefit to us. I believe/hope chequers is dead. T May should be out within a few months, and the excellent wto option will be grabbed with both hands. That now is the only brexit.

 FRUSTRATED BY PROGRESS ON BREXIT?
IRRITATED BY UNDEMOCRATIC REMAINER MPs?
HERE’S YOUR CHANCE
TO FIGHT BACK
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG PROUDLY PRESENTS ITS
BREXIT BATTLE PACK AND TOOLBOX!
CREATED AND FUNDED BY BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG AND ENDORSED BY:-
If you want to make a difference to Brexit, you can. But you will actually have to do something.
Most of the suggestions don’t require you to leave your chair. You can make a difference from where you’re sitting. But you will have to read our advice if you want your efforts to be worthwhile.
Here is what this Brexit Battle Pack consists of:-
  1. FIRST PRINCIPLES – Who We Need To Persuade
  2. HOW TO GET YOUR MESSAGE ACROSS - Communication Ground Rules
  3. PRIMARY TARGETS GROUP 1 – MPs
  4. PRIMARY TARGETS GROUP 2 – The Media
  5. DEMOCRACY - It's A Numbers Game
  6. TOOLBOX - First Compartment: Tools For Contacting MPs
  7. TOOLBOX - Second Compartment: Tools For Contacting The Media
PLEASE READ IT ALL
The Brexit Battle Pack is a long read, but if it didn’t contain so much useful information it wouldn’t be so useful !
We can’t stress strongly enough our recommendation that you read all the advice BEFORE getting stuck into the toolbox. The last thing you want is to start firing off letters, emails, or calls only to find that they’re not working.
Please trust us, whilst some of the advice might seem obvious to you, some won’t. And if you really want to make a difference and affect the outcome of the Brexit process, the best way is to read everything before you start taking action.
TAKING ACTION
Taking action is what this Pack is all about. Ever since the Referendum, Remainers have had it mostly their own way. There have been High Court cases, constant appearances by Remainer politicians and commentators on the TV, and now we have the ‘Peoples’ Vote’ funded in part by a foreign billionaire.
The democratic vote to leave the EU is not being respected. This is your chance to do something about it.
It will take some of your time, but it will be more effective than posting tweets or Facebook comments. What we’re proposing will actually make a difference.
And if tens of thousands of you take up this challenge, your collective power could be the deciding factor in whether we get a full, clean Brexit, or not.
With the Brexit Battle Pack, it will be over to you.
PROUD TO HAVE THE ENDORSEMENT OF OTHER BREXIT ORGANISATIONS
In recent weeks Brexit Facts4EU.Org has made renewed approaches to other pro-Brexit organisations. We are delighted to announce that some have agreed to promote our work on a reciprocal basis.
We hope to have several more on board in the coming days.
TODAY’S THE DAY
Today we are launching the Brexit Battle Pack & Toolbox to the public, after it was tested by donors to the Brexit Facts4EU.Org website. It was a big hit with our individual donors and we hope you will enjoy it just as much!
Best wishes, the Brexit Facts4EU.Org Team

ARE YOU HAPPY TO SEE A BRITISH ARMY GENERAL
SALUTING THE EU FLAG & ANTHEM
ON AN EU MILITARY MISSION?
© EU Commission
WATCH VIDEO OF UK GENERAL AND TROOPS IN SARAJEVO,
WORKING FOR THE EU
British Army General, Sir James Everard KCB CBE, wearing EU insignia, reviews the guard of honour, salutes an EU flag, and salutes the playing of the EU anthem ‘Ode to Joy’ by German composer Beethoven.
Are you a newer reader of Brexit Facts4EU.Org?
We support our military
We have published the largest and most definitive series of factual articles on the military in relation to the EU and Brexit of any organisation. These pieces are the result of enormous research. To get a flavour, when you've read this piece please click here for a summary of links to military articles we produced from June last year to March this year.
Since the above video was shot, earlier this year, the UK has provided a big increase in troops and equipment for the EU. Here is what the EU says about its ‘mission’:-
THE EU'S MISSION
“The European Union provides significant resources to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as part of its comprehensive approach, supporting the country on its journey towards European integration.
“European Union Force (EUFOR) Operation ALTHEA is the EU’s military commitment to this journey.”
Readers will note that the EU military’s mission is “supporting the country on its journey towards European integration”. And the British Army has been doing this in 2018 - this year - at the same time that the EU was acting as a hostile power against the UK in the Brexit negotiations.
DID THE UK PARLIAMENT HAVE ANY SAY IN THE BRITISH ARMY’S ROLE IN BOSNIA?
This ‘EU mission’ is yet another in a long list decided upon by the EU. The EU Commissioner responsible is the Italian former Communist Federica Mogherini, who is the de facto Foreign and Defence Secretary of the European Union.
From the date of the Referendum in June 2016, Hansard – the official record of parliamentary proceedings – contains no mention of this mission by the British Army on behalf of the European Union, except for a written statement by Gavin Williamson, Defence Secretary, in June this year.
This written statement wasn’t debated and starts by referring to an order under the Reserve Forces Act 1996 to allow the call-up of 8 specialist reservists to provide intelligence support. Reading the statement in full, it becomes apparent that more UK forces will deploy for a period of six months from mid-August 2018. The statement does not give any indication of the total size of the deployment.
THAT DEPLOYMENT STARTED ON THURSDAY LAST WEEK
Below is a video taken on Thursday last week, showing British Paras arriving in Sarajevo with a large number of military vehicles. The Paras arrived on an RAF Voyager plane and so big was the deployment that an enormous Antonov transport plane had to be used for all the vehicles and special equipment.
© EU Commission
The picture shows Paras being greeted by an EU Commander and the troops are wearing the EU flag on their shoulders.
One source told us that a Para asked his superiors if he could remove the EU flag shoulder flash as he didn’t feel comfortable wearing it. Permission was refused.
BOSNIA IS A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR EU MEMBERSHIP, DID REMAINER MPs KNOW?
Six Balkan countries are candidates for EU membership, as we have reported more than once. Bosnia and Herzegovina is on the list as a potential candidate country.
Already the EU has signed the following with Bosnia & Herzegovina: a Visa Facilitation and Readmission Agreement, an Interim Agreement on Trade and Trade-related issues, and a Stabilisation and Association Agreement. The country receives funding from the EU budget.
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – EU DESCRIPTION OF POLITICAL ‘CHALLENGES’
Here is what the EU itself says about the political difficulties which its military mission is working under in Bosnia Herzegovina.
IN THE EU'S OWN WORDS
"The leadership of the three “constituent peoples” still disagrees on the foundations of BiH. [Bosnia and Herzegovina – Ed.]
"Bosniaks would prefer a strong and unitary state, whereas Bosnian Serbs tend to push for further self-governance, and Bosnian Croats continue to strive for what they consider a ‘fairer share’ of the power arrangements.
  • Public institutions are costly, fragmented and partly dysfunctional.
  • The reconciliation process, which is crucial for progress, goes slowly.
  • Some figures in the political landscape seem to fear EU “Rule of Law” standards.
  • Short election cycles (general and local elections alternating in a 2-year rhythm) do not contribute to political continuity.
  • Political dialogue is generally difficult, and pre-election campaigning has again led to a significant increase in inflammatory nationalistic rhetoric."
This is the EU’s own description of the situation, released by the EU’s ‘European External Action Service’. In essence, three rival sections of the population are all competing with each other. Bosnia and Herzegovina has a population of 3.5 million and the majority religion is Islam.
OBSERVATIONS
IMPORTANT NOTE: In response to some comments on social media about this article, we want to stress that we have made no personal criticism of General Everard. We have not been able to find any definitive government or MoD guidance about the protocols involved when British military personnel are involved in ceremonies containing the EU flag or anthem. And yes, we looked in Queen's Regulations amongst other documents. Maybe a reader can advise.
Our point is more general - the EU acts like a country, in writing and in deed. An example of this is when it says “The EU is the most generous donor in the world” when it speaks of international aid. This is patently untrue, unless they consider the EU to be a country composed of 28 states. In this respect the EU is unlike NATO or the UN, both of whom have international roles where the British military plays a part.
We would point out to Remainer MPs that this is the kind of thing the EU is doing more and more. And you aren’t even aware of the half of it.
We are pretty sure that even if you’re not alarmed at the sight of a British Army General saluting the EU flag and anthem, and British paras being forced to wear EU insignia, a great many people in the country will be.
And it gets even worse. This has all happened under Theresa May’s leadership – since the EU Referendum. She is actually planning to keep the UK as involved as possible in the EU’s military operations, without any say, and while still paying the majority of the EU’s bills.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
This is about sovereignty. We are not suggesting for one moment that British forces should not deploy to assist foreign governments at times of crisis, or in overall support of British interests. The question here is about who decides and who commands.
We started the article showing a video of a British General saluting the EU flag and the EU anthem in Bosnia. The British troops landing last Thursday will be under the overall command of an Austrian General. In this, the EU is not like the UN or NATO. The EU is using its 'anthem' and is acting like a government and deciding policy in Brussels.
General Sir James Everard KCB CBE is NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe. We strongly believe that NATO is the only credible vehicle for combined operations amongst countries with common values. None of the major EU nations come near the NATO target of spending a minimum of 2% of GDP on defence - except the UK. And despite the EU's protestations of 'unity' and 'solidarity', huge fissures have been developing across the EU in the last two years.
NATO has been working well for decades. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.
AND FINALLY
The majority of the British public voted to leave the EU. What on earth are we doing, tying our military into EU structures since the Referendum? Naturally the EU still want us involved - they want us to keep paying. But they've already made it clear that we won't be attending any of their decision-making meetings regarding the use of the military. This nonsense has to stop.
Brexit Facts4EU.Org has published many dozens of research articles about the ‘EU Army’. We welcome any approaches by MPs who would like a summary of the key things they need to know.
As ever, the content of this article comes from in-depth research of EU material, as well as from official government sources.

Message: But but... Nick Clegg said the EU army was "a dangerous fantasy", it doesn't exist. May has signed the UK armed forces to the EU, this is all part of the plan to keep the UK tied to the EU. Should be interesting though because the EU Commission has said the UK will not be allowed to gain access to the Galileo communications satellite project on security grounds, as a third nation. How is that going to work when part of your army is not allowed communications access? Perhaps the EU will have special high speed pigeons for the British army!

 “CHEQUERS ISN’T LEGAL” SAYS EU
IT WOULD BE “AN INVITATION TO FRAUD”
The EU's Chief Negotiator has accused Mrs May of illegality in her 'Chequers Plan'.
Yesterday the EU’s Chief Negotiator Michel Barnier rowed back hard on the more amenable language he used earlier last week when appearing to suggest that a special deal with the UK might be possible.
In an interview conducted in French with German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung on Sunday, Barnier effectively slammed the door once again on Mrs May’s universally-condemned ‘Chequers Plan’.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
BARNIER’S LATEST REJECTION OF CHEQUERS
  • “That's not legal”
  • “the British proposal is not practical”
  • “other third countries could insist that we offer them the same benefits”
  • “The British proposal would be an invitation to fraud”
  • “we must conclude the negotiations by mid-November”
MAY DANCES ON REGARDLESS
Meanwhile in the UK, some British people were reading the article that Theresa May wrote for the Sunday Telegraph.
“At Chequers in July, the government came together around a set of proposals that could break the deadlock on the negotiations and bring a fresh dynamic to the talks. And there are signs over the Summer that this has happened, with real progress in the negotiations.”
- Theresa May, writing for the Sunday Telegraph, 02 Sept 2018
HERE IS WHAT BARNIER TOLD THE GERMANS
EXCERPTS FROM MICHEL BARNIER’S INTERVIEW
FRANKFURTER ALLGEMEINE ZEITUNG, 02 SEPT 2018
“We cannot relinquish control of our external borders and the revenue there to a third country. That's not legal.”
"The British have a choice. They could stay in the single market, like Norway, which is also not a member of the EU. But they would then have to take over all the associated rules and contributions to European solidarity. It is your choice.
“But if we let the British pick the raisins out of our rules, that would have serious consequences. Then all sorts of other third countries could insist that we offer them the same benefits. That would be the end of the single market and the European project.”
“Moreover, the British proposal is not practical. It is impossible to tell exactly where a product ends up, on the UK market or in the internal market. The British proposal would be an invitation to fraud if implemented.”
“I am often accused in the UK of being dogmatic. In fact, I only fulfil our fundamental interests.”
“If we consider the time needed for the ratification of the exit agreement by the British parliament as well as by the European Parliament, then we must conclude the negotiations by mid-November. That is possible.”
“We don't need more time. What we need are political decisions.”
- Michel Barnier, interview with FAZ, 02 Sept 2018
OBSERVATIONS
Does this sometimes seem to you like a monumental waste of time and effort?
Brexit Facts4EU.Org has always argued that the EU would never do a rational, pragmatic deal with the UK.
Not because it isn’t possible and desirable on both sides, but because those in charge on the EU side are totalitarian idealogues who put their ideology for a United States of Europe above the commercial and social interests of 510 million people.
Unlike Mrs May, we understand the EU mindset and in the last three years we haven’t changed our minds about their approach.
If some form of fudge is agreed – and they generally are, in circumstances like these – it will be meaningless and will simply make the whole process roll on forever. It will certainly not represent the clean break and a new beginning that 17.4 million British people voted for in 2016.
In the same way, Theresa May’s Chequers Plan isn’t Brexit in any way, shape or form. If allowed to continue, she will doubtless try to compromise on something which will be even worse.
HIDING FREE SPEECH
Yesterday Mrs May wrote an article for the Sunday Telegraph. It’s behind a paywall, so the vast majority of British people can’t see it.
Yesterday Michel Barnier gave an exclusive interview about Brexit to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. It’s behind a paywall so the vast majority of UK and EU citizens can’t see it.
Last night Boris Johnson wrote his column in the Daily Telegraph, entitled “Victory for Brussels is inevitable. In adopting Chequers, we have gone into battle waving the white flag.” It’s behind a paywall so the vast majority of the British public can’t see it.
These days most media organisations have to put their content behind paywalls, in order to pay for their journalism. We make our journalism free to our readers, but we understand completely why others do not. Of the many thousands who read us, only a tiny fraction choose to make a donation, which is why we’re on our knees financially.
Our main point here is not about us, it’s about the way our leaders make key statements which benefit some news organisations but which can’t be read by so many ordinary people.
We understand some politicians making money writing for the newspapers, but is it right that major players like the British Prime Minister and the EU’s Chief Negotiator should say what is happening when 99% of people can’t read what they’re saying?
Please help to keep us free for everyone, so that we can bring you the news and important facts that you don’t read elsewhere. If everyone reading this made a small donation today, the team here could breathe again… and perhaps pay a few bills.
Best regards, the Brexit Facts4EU.Org team at 04.40am Monday morning.

Message: I think we are seeing May's last gasps now. The fact that she has resorted to throwing insults at Boris over Chequers shows just how desperate she is. There is now a concerted effort under way led by Lynton Crosby to oust May and replace her with Boris. The plan is to scupper Chequers, and thereby leave May no option but to resign.

Message: "We cannot relinquish control of our external borders and the revenue there to a third country. That's not legal."
So can Barmy Barnier explain how the EU propose to operate the border between the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom ?? After all he clearly states that the EU 'cannot relinquish control of our external borders' so he insists there must be a hard border in Ireland.
Name: Brexiteer, Braintree, Essex, UK      Date/Time: 03 Sept 2018, 10.41am
Message: May's Chequers plan is capitulating to the EU. She seems to want to tie the UK to the EU both military and geo-politically. It has been proved that economically the EU is a fading market for the UK, but she wants to tie us to all their rules and regulations. The world markets beckon but she can't see them. As Michel Barnier puts more and more barriers in the way of the UK leaving the EU sensibly and amicably, May should be concentrating her energies on the no deal scenario. We don't need a trade deal with the EU before we leave the bloc, that can wait. The EU has massive problems ahead, Italian financial crisis, migration problems in Germany and Greece all is not well inside the EU, the easiest problem to fix will be trading negotiations with the UK after we are a third country. Pressure by EU countries for access to the UK to supply food, drink and cars will be massive, as the saying goes "you don't know what you will miss until it's gone". The counter pressure on the EU is that other countries will be desperate to make inroads to supply the UK market with the goods previously supplied from the EU for the last forty years. Many of these goods will be cheaper than British consumers are paying inside the EU. World trade bring it on.

HOW GREAT BRITAIN KEEPS THE EU TRADING
Another Positive Sunday Piece From The Brexit Facts4EU.Org Team
The UK dominates the entire world in foreign currency trading (Forex).
It doesn’t just dominate the whole of the EU Forex including its ‘Eurozone’. The UK dominates the world. And without foreign currency, even the mighty Germany would find its international trade would come grinding to a halt.
Below we show the top 5 forex trading centres in the world.
Chart © Brexit Facts4EU.Org 2018
[Source: Reuters 2018 survey of central banks in the five biggest trading centres in the world.]
Our chart above shows the dominant position held by the UK.
And below we show the UK in relation to EU27 countries.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY - UK'S DOMINANT POSITION IN EU
Chart © Brexit Facts4EU.Org 2018
[Source: Bank for International Settlements, latest 3-yearly report]
  • UK does 78% of the EU’s foreign exchange trading
  • UK does 21 times more than Germany
  • UK does 13 times more than France
Our charts above show clearly that it is the countries of the EU27 who are the minnows when it comes to foreign currency trading. No other EU country even appears in the world top 5.
AND THE UK IS STILL GROWING FASTER THAN ALL TOP PLAYERS, ‘DESPITE BREXIT’
Here are the growth rates of the world’s top forex trading centres since Brexit. These figures show the change between April 2016 and April 2018.
  • United Kingdom: +23%
  • USA: +11%
  • Singapore: -5%
  • Hong Kong: +10%
  • Japan: +2%
[Source: Reuters 2018 survey of central banks in the five biggest trading centres in the world.]
The UK’s forex growth rate is double that of the USA and Hong Kong and is the fastest of all the major financial centres.
SO WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT BREXIT?
ACCORDING TO THE REUTERS ANALYSIS IN AUGUST:
“Leaving the European Union was supposed to deal a crippling blow to London’s position in global finance, prompting a mass exodus of jobs and business. But with eight months to go, London has tightened rather than weakened its grip on foreign exchange trading”
OBSERVATIONS
Anti-Brexit campaigners from the Chancellor Philip Hammond, to the Canadian Governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney, to every one of the various Europhile, anti-democratic, anti-British campaign groups in the country tell us that the UK can’t possibly survive in any post-Brexit world.
The reason, we are told, is because Britain is a small player on the world stage and needs to be part of the EU to survive. The various Remoaner MPs and campaign groups use different language to get their message across, but the theme is a common one: the UK is small – almost insignificant – and we need the EU.
A GLOBALLY-FACING, BOLD, POSITIVE, BREXIT BRITAIN
If anyone deserves the title of ‘Little Englanders’ it is surely the doom-mongers from the anti-Brexit camp. The truth is very far from the uninformed and desperate fantasies with which they continue to attempt to scare the British people into submission.
The reality is that the UK is a major player in the world across many areas of competence and achievement. In the article above we have shown how the UK dominates the world in one of the essential areas that keeps the world’s trade moving – that of foreign currency.
You can trade all you want, but in the end you need to get paid. And getting paid ultimately involves being paid in your own currency. Perhaps if more of the anti-British, anti-Brexit campaigners had some business experience they would know that.

 BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG BATTLE PACK
FROM TUESDAY
In addition to being the only Brexit team to bring you a daily diet of original, researched, factual articles about the EU and Brexit, we have also been working on a few things in the background. Here is the news about a project we know you're all looking forward to.
  • The Facts4EU.Org Brexit Battle Pack
Recently launched in beta version to all our individual donors, we have taken on board all suggestions and will be launching this to the public and to those Brexit organisations who have kindly agreed to lend their name and promote it. We're working on this again today and tomorrow, and hope to launch on Tuesday.
This Pack gives you a variety of practical ways you can actually do something about Brexit, rather than just getting frustrated at the lack of progress and the Prime Minister’s ‘Wet Remain’ Chequers Plan.
If you work for a Brexit organisation and would like details, please let us know today.
Meanwhile, we will keep bringing readers our daily, original pieces about Brexit for as long as we can, until lack of funds finally causes us to stop.

 BARNIER REVEALS EU's PROTECTIONISM

"MORE RED LINES, GROMIT?"
In his statement in Brussels yesterday, Michel Barnier singled out a new line of attack against the UK following the latest negotiations with Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab.
The EU’s latest ‘Brexit red line’ concerns the EU’s protectionist policies over French, Italian, Spanish, and other EU27 agricultural products and drinks. The technical term in the EU for this is “Geographical Indication Protections”.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY - EU AGRI-FOOD PROTECTIONISM
  • EU’s new red line is to protect continental farmers
  • During EU membership, only 81 British foods protected by the EU
  • Italy has 4 times more, France over 3 times more
The subject of Geographical Indication Protections is complex, as you would expect from the EU. Here we simplify it, quantify it, and explain how it is a bargaining chip for UK negotiators. Firstly, here is what Monsieur Barnier said yesterday.
MICHEL BARNIER’S NEW RED LINE
PROTECTING CHAMPAGNE, ROQUEFORT, AND PARMA HAM
Excerpts from EU Chief Negotiator’s speech, 31 Aug 2018
“Secondly, we worked this week on certain outstanding issues of the Withdrawal Agreement itself, which is a precondition for any future cooperation.
“On geographical indications - 3000 geographical indications in the 28 countries of the Union - I expressed again my worry.
“The EU's position is clear: Brexit should not lead to a loss of existing intellectual property rights. We must protect the entire stock of geographical indications.
“This protection is an international obligation, and seeing as it is one of the separation subjects, it must be clarified in the Withdrawal Agreement. We will come back to this subject, whose solution must be in the Withdrawal Agreement.”
- EU Chief Negotiator Michel Barnier, Brussels, 31 Aug 2018
EU's PROTECTED AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS MARKET IS WORTH €54 BILLION
The EU’s system involves three different types of classification. Whilst it may sound boring, it is not small potatoes. The EU Commission says that in value terms:
“the market for EU geographical indications is around €54.3 billion”
HOW HAS THE UK DONE WHEN IT COMES TO EU AGRI-PRODUCT PROTECTIONS?
Brexit Facts4EU.Org looked at how much the EU has done to protect British products.
We researched the EU’s full list of ‘Geographical Indication Protections’ for agricultural food products (excluding drink products), to see how much British farmers have been benefiting from the UK’s EU membership in this respect.
The EU claims over 3,300 products are protected in total, of which a large proportion are drinks. We found around 1500 food product designations.
The results for the UK’s farmers make for sorry reading, with just 81 products being specified – a fraction of the protections afforded to some other major EU countries.

OBSERVATIONS
It will not surprise regular readers to learn that one of the EU’s major preoccupations in any trade arrangements is its need to protect French, Italian and Spanish farmers.
Nor, we suspect, will anyone be surprised to hear that the EU is now adopting a red line for Brexit over its protectionist policies which have always benefited EU27 farmers more than those in the UK.
If the UK is smart it will drive a hard bargain over this.
Naturally it’s the case that the UK government will seek to protect certain British brands as part of any future, independent trade deals with the rest of the world. That said, British demands will be very reasonable compared to the EU, mainly covering products such as Scottish Whisky and Scottish Salmon.
THE EU’S TRADE PRIORITIES RARELY SEEM TO BE THOSE OF THE UK
The simple fact is that whenever we read the EU’s documents about international trade, the protection of (often inefficient) continental farmers takes a very high priority in negotiations, whereas the areas in which the UK is strong have virtually been ignored.
This is just one more example of how the supposed benefits of EU membership have somehow always materialised in a disproportionately small way for the UK, despite the wishful thinking of Remainer MPs.

 MPs STAND UP FOR BREXIT

#STANDUP4BREXIT CAMPAIGN NOW HAS PLEDGES
FROM 20 TORY MPs
In the next crucial weeks and months, Brexit Facts4EU.Org will continue to report on the work of other Brexit organisations.
One such new campaign is now active on social media and is called StandUp4Brexit. They invite Conservative MPs to reject Theresa May’s Chequers Plan.
20 MPs have pledged their support so far:-
(Adapted by Facts4EU.Org from the StandUp4Brexit Campaign website)
The MPs are: Iain Duncan Smith, Priti Patel, Owen Paterson, Steve Baker, Andrea Jenkyns, Ben Bradley, Marcus Fysh, Maria Caulfield, Simon Clarke, Ross Thomson, Henry Smith, Nadine Dories, Chris Green, Andrew Bridgen, Sheryll Murray, Andrew Rosindell, Lee Rowley, Charlie Elphicke, Conor Burns and James Duddridge.
HERE IS WHAT STANDUP4BREXIT SAY:
“We aim to convince MPs to #StandUp4Brexit by rejecting Chequers and delivering the Brexit that was promised at Lancaster House and in the Conservative manifesto. That means leaving the Single Market, Customs Union and ECJ overrule.
“The Chequers whitepaper does not deliver Brexit.
“We object specifically to the following aspects of the Chequers white paper:
  • The common rule book allows ECJ overrule and severely hampers new free trade deals
  • The backstop allows Northern Ireland to be separated from the rest of the UK
  • Free movement of labour permits EU citizens to collect benefits whether in or out of work, without making UK contributions”

OBSERVATIONS
We know that many MPs dislike being pushed into pledging anything by a lobby group, but in this case we hope more of our MP readers will decide that this campaign is worth backing.
Before doing so, MPs might wish to speak to StandUp4Brexit’s Campaign Director, Rebecca Ryan, and they can contact her here. She can answer any questions and reassure MPs as to the bona fides of the campaign. Alternatively they can contact our editor in confidence first, if they wish, by sending a message via our contact form. He will get in touch straight away.
In the meantime, we are pleased to see that 20 Conservative MPs have already made the pledge. Readers may well wish to encourage their own MP to pledge their support and we would encourage this.
WORKING TOGETHER FOR BREXIT
Brexit Facts4EU.Org saw what StandUp4Brexit were doing and contacted them. The result of our initiative was this article.
Regular readers know that we have promoted the work of other Brexit organisations many times in the past, even though the favour has almost never been reciprocated. We hope to announce in the very near future that two or three major organisations will be promoting our work on a reciprocal basis going forward.
For the avoidance of doubt, all we care about is the delivery of the fullest and cleanest possible Brexit and we are happy to cooperate with any pro-Brexit organisation in the pursuit of this!

Facts4eu.org is non party-political and not supported by any Brexit campaign.
We present facts we've researched from official government and EU sources.

Now that the Referendum has been won, we have 2 main aims:
1.  To provide bullet-pointed and factual summaries of key points, to help people to ensure Brexit is delivered in full.
2.  Crucially, to allow MPs and campaigners to give reliable and consistent facts to the public.
Please don't hesitate to contact the Editors if you can volunteer in some way, and particularly if you can support us financially.
NEUTRALITY:    Facts4eu.org focuses on information which shows that the UK is better off regaining its independence and growing globally. The entire weight of the Establishment is promoting the opposite case, so this site is just one small voice trying to redress the balance.
