Now we face ‘Rejoin by Stealthy Re-Set’ with its relentless march

Anti-democratic Remainers immediately rejected the Brexit Referendum result of 23 June 2016 and commenced a campaign to set it aside. They began by calling for a second referendum, disarmingly referred to as a “Peoples Vote”. This failed to materialise.

They then sought to nullify the vote by imposing Brexit In Name Only (BRINO) which resulted in a Withdrawal Agreement so bad it was even rejected by the Remainer Parliament.

Boris Johnson's Conservative Government was elected in December 2019 with a sufficient majority to “Get Brexit Done”. Having got Brexit over the line the Conservatives failed dismally to take full advantage of it, thus giving the Remainers a decade-free run in their campaign of lies and propaganda.

With Brexit legally achieved, the Remainers have become Rejoiners, and their campaign is now focussed on forcing Britain to rejoin the EU.

In Episode II of the Facts4EU Podcast Series 4, Graham Dale argues that Rejoiners will run scared of a Rejoin Referendum as their case won't stand up to serious scrutiny and they would lose. They will, instead, try to rejoin through enhanced EU Re-Sets without the need for a referendum.

Whilst complaining about the conjured-up costs of Brexit, Rejoiners NEVER want to talk about the colossal costs involved in rejoining the EU. If we joined today Britain's membership subscription would be about £20 billion a year, and rising.

The Rejoiners are a majority in the Labour Party, the LibDems, the Greens, the SNP and Plaid Cymru. With parties of the Right split and not cooperating it's likely that the next Parliament will have a Labour-led Rejoiner majority. They will want to avoid a Rejoin Referendum which they would lose.

All of the Rejoiner parties will probably include a Rejoin commitment in their election manifestos, which they will use to justify rejoining without holding a referendum.

David Frost was asked on 2022 what evidence in future would convince him Brexit had failed. He said: “One piece of evidence of failure would be if we are still debating this in five or six years’ time in the same way.”
And we are … 10 years later … still debating Brexit in the same way.

David Frost was certainly expecting that brexit would have been fully implemented within 5 or so years. But here we are, 10 years on, still being controlled by the remainer blob.

Mr Sceptic (1), well 2022 plus 5 or 6 years is 2027 to 2028. So we're not there yet.
However I know what you mean. I'm sure we will still be here going round in circles with the same old arguments in those years too.
As others have said, we're still being controlled by remainers who are entrenched in the system. Also the BBC/Channel 4 et al, continuing to spout pro-EU propaganda.
I think we expected people to accept the referendum result and get on with it. Even if they personally disagreed with it. I don't think anyone expected this level of spite and negativity.

You are acting like that's the only comment David Frost has made about Brexit. He has recently given a speech highlighting the benefits of Brexit. He has correctly pointed out that for 20 years the UK was the awkward partner in the EU. The single currency, Schengen, European Constitution, Lisbon Treaty. Justice, Home affairs, financing, we did not agree with any of them, we demanded opt-out's and the vast majority of the population still do not agree with them.

Brexit has given us Democracy, Control, Adaptability, Choice and Government responsibility. Unfortunately it's not yet given us good national governance. However the reason Kier has now resigned is because Labour politicians fear democracy and that's a huge benefit for the UK population.

5 NH … and you are acting like the Brexit deal Boris and Frosty delivered was great … and the only problem is good national governance.
The Boris&Frosty Brexit deal gave us a border down the Irish Sea. And Brexiteer Priti Patel (often heralded by Facts4EU on here) was the principal architect of the Boris Wave.

The deal was a damn sight better than the deal we were saddled with beforehand ( known as membership) and could have been far far better had we not had a Europhile Parliament that treated Brexit negotiations as a damage limitation exercise.

Was Priti Patel also responsible for the 2.5 million that immigrated into the EU in 2019, or the 1.2 million in 2020?
Was she responsible for the 2.3 million that immigrated into the EU in 2023?

in 2023 an internal EU report was leaked to the financial times regarding the budgetary and cost implications of nine new countries acceding to the EU.
This report found that the EU annual budget would have to increase by 21% in order to accommodate these countries, who would all be net recipients.
That would result in the UK's annual budget contribution increasing to £30 billion
As of June 2026, the EU budget for the next seven year period has already more than doubled since 2016, reaching €2 trillion for 2028-2034 .
That's without any additional members having joined. A further 21% on top would take it to €2.4 trillion.

As an EU member within the customs union, 75% of all customs revenue goes into the EU budget.
Now outside the EU, HMRC gets 100% of that revenue to spend on public services currently estimated at £2-3 billion extra a year, even after the UK had reduced thousands of tariffs

There is no need for a border down the Irish sea in order to prevent any NI-ROI border controls. The ROI demonstrated that fact perfectly when they introduced border checks to prevent migrant crossing into the ROI from NI
