"The infamous Boneless Wonder presides over a Circus of Freaks and Monstrosities devoted to undemocratic policies and too afraid to consult the electorate.

"In a sickening demonstration of devoted self-interest the Boneless Wonder and his crew of Keystone Cop Clowns are concocting a poisonous cocktail of pro-EU surrender of Britain's hard-won independence and post-EU freedoms.

"What's sovereignty to them? Nothing more than a meaningless, outdated concept, fit only for Little Englanders of a bygone age when being British meant independence of thought and deed; self-respect and self-determination; pride in one's country; and, an unshakeable commitment to democracy.

"The Boneless Wonder and his assemblage of incompetent clowns don't deserve to govern Britain for a moment longer than their minority party can cling to power.

"Oliver Cromwell famously said of the Rump Parliament: "You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!""

New to this series? So who is this new Podcast Editor character, exactly?

As British as they come, our new Podcast Editor shares his birthplace with Josaiah Wedgewood and a certain Mr Robbie Williams. Both are major British export success stories, with Robbie Williams having just overtaken the Beatles for the highest number of No.1 albums in history. As for our Podcast Editor, his ambitions are not quite so lofty. He simply wants to make a difference to the way we all think about the direction of travel of our country.

A family man, Facts4EU’s own Staffordshire Terrier for independence and sovereignty is Graham Dale, now happily ensconced in North Wales with his long-suffering wife of over 40 years. Graham has led an interesting career, in banking and financial services, property, and as a business angel. Sadly, we must disappoint Graham if he thinks Robbie’s hit single Angels had anything to do that particular professional activity of his.

His interests, in addition to his family, include hill walking, the arts, British history and politics. It is the latter two which drove his desire to join us.

Observations

‘Thought for the day’

For some of us, we think Graham’s podcasts each Wednesday are going to a be a little like a secular version of “Thought for the Day”, or GB News’ “Reflections”. With his calming, well-grounded voice, we can easily see ourselves being given a relaxing start to the day, whilst at the same time having something serious to think about.

Graham is a man who believes passionately in our country. When he approached our Chairman, it was this clear urge to help to put things right which persuaded him Graham was going to make a go of this. We expect him to get better each week and we’re looking forward to seeing this.

It only remains for us to say "Welcome Graham, to the very special club that is the Facts4EU team!!" And, we should add, we would be very happy to welcome more volunteers, as we are desperately short of bodies!

The same was said by David Davis about Boris Johnson. The man that delivered our “Great” Brexit.

Sovereignty is the only thing left for Brexitears to cling on to, the economics, cutting red tape and immigration of the Brexit promises have all failed.

Interesting piece on BBC about Horden in the NE. An ex mining area, now a seriously depressed area, receiving less money as a result of Brexit but is now likely to elect a Reform (Conservative II) UK MP.

It is amusing that only 2 days after EU Nations and leaders had a major urgent meeting to discuss their "inability to compete" with non-EU Nations Kier Starmer seems to believe the answer is to join them. The only issue that EU National leaders agree on is that they are uncompetitive with non-EU Nations.

Ursula blames the Nation states and the Nation states blame the EU commission. Macron wants a two tier EU and more huge joint debts. Merz blames the German workers for being to lazy. Others want protectionism and some want Federalism to stop National electorates from being a bit of a nuisance.

To fund their inability to compete with other Nations they want to increase their budget by 66% to 2 trillion Euros. However this isn't all they want. They also want an 800 billion Euro "emergency fund". So they are actually requesting a 133% increase in funding.
.
To prevent EU Governments having to pay too much they plan to raise the tax from EU corporations and citizens. The corporation tax will be heavily biased to mid sized companies, which the UK has a lot off and most do not export to the EU, regardless of their profit levels. For EU citizens there will be a range of purchase taxes (VAT, tariffs, Carbon, Plastics, Tobacco) which of course they will not be able to vote against.

Maybe you would like to say how much the UK should pay to be uncompetitive and who in the UK should pay for it !
