The Facts4EU Easter Brexit Bunny brings nothing but good news… for Brexiteers

Last week’s labour market overview data from the Office for National Statistics and HMRC once again brought good news. As our little Easter present to readers we present a simple snapshot, comparing the labour statistics in June 2016 – the month of the EU Referendum – with today.

In the (nearly) nine years since the British people voted for what the government and the Establishment told the British public would be immediate ‘economic Armageddon’, once again we present the latest facts which show the opposite has been the case.

What more can we ask for?

Jobs are up (employed and self-employed), real wages (after inflation) are up, the employment rate is up, the unemployment rate is down, the inactivity rate is down, the number of vacancies is up… AND YES, real wages (after inflation are up by 7%.

These are not wild claims of the sort paraded on social media daily by Rejoiners who have never let facts get in the way of their preferred, bitter invective of false claims. These are the real facts which were published last Tuesday (15 Apr 2025) by the relevant authorities: the Office for National Statistics and HM Revenue and Customs.

Month after month, year after year, the Brexit Facts4EU think-tank has analysed official figures of all kinds, showing how Brexit Britain is doing. We frequently show labour market figures as these often have direct impact on people’s lives and everyone can identify with them.

Over the years, despite the Project Fear claims of the government and every Establishment body you can name, the news we have been able to report has been positive.

It could have been even better (and it might of course get worse)

Rejoiners generally criticise Brexit as if it has been delivered. It has not. So far we have only seen a part of the benefits which could have accrued to the country if the newly-available freedoms had all been seized. Where Brexit has not delivered even greater benefits, this is because it has not been allowed to by our representatives in Parliament and by the pro-EU apparatchiks leading all the government departments, quangos, and the courts of the land.

Despite this passive (and often active) resistance to Brexit, there is no question that the UK has not only survived the upheaval that was always going to come with such a change in our constitutional arrangements, it has flourished.

Observations

The biggest single threat to further advancement of Brexit now lies with the government of Sir Keir Starmer, the man who led the thoroughly anti-democractic 'People's Vote' campaign to overturn the largest democratic decision in the history of our Isles, because he didn't like the result of the first and official people's vote called the EU Referendum.

Unfortunately we have no doubt whatsoever that he intends to lead the UK back into the claws of the EU, step by step, until we are so bound by EU diktats we might as well be full Members.

The point of us continuing to research and publish daily reports such as the one above is to influence the British public with the truth. We will never persuade the ideologues of the New World Order like Sir Keir and his colleagues, but we can try to make it as difficult as humanly possible for him to carry out his plans by having no real public backing.

Our biggest problem is that very few people are prepared to fund the vital work that an organisation such as Facts4EU does. This has never been a problem for our opponents, who bask in the warm glow of millions of pounds of grants from the agencies of foreign billionaires.

What we do makes a difference. Our work is now quoted every week on TV and in the newspapers. Please help us to carry on. We just can’t keep subsidising this much longer ourselves.

Please, please help us to carry on our vital work in defence of independence, sovereignty, democracy and freedom by donating today. Thank you.
