Making Britain great again - What do we need to do?

A Facts4EU.Org opinion piece
Today we offer some talking points for our readers. There is currently much discussion about the incoming policies of the new Labour government of Keir Starmer, the reasons for the fall in the popularity of the Conservative Party, the rise of Reform UK, continuing high immigration, the state of Parliament, and many other matters.
We are interested in readers’ views on topics contained in the following lists, drawn up by us, which look at the changing face of the United Kingdom and some of the possible reasons for this.
If there is any appetite for “Making Britain Great Again”, it seems appropriate to start by looking at subjects which may help to explain people’s dissatisfactions. Only by addressing these can any serious plan be formulated to improve things generally for the population, and perhaps begin to restore the public’s faith in its political system, economic prospects, and global standing.

NOTICE : Facts4EU is now scaling back to publishing 5 days-a-week
For over eight years we have worked seven days-a-week. As far as we are aware we are the only organisation of our type to have done this. We are grateful to those of our readers who have made donations but sadly the level of our funding is now such that we must make it stretch for as long as we can. This means team members taking other paid work and reducing our output to five days-a-week.
Please, please help us to carry on our vital work in defence of independence, sovereignty, democracy and freedom by donating today. Thank you.
