Oh joy, oh joy, oh joy

We simply had to bring readers the full text of David Frost's letter to Michel Barnier yesterday.

It's perfect. It's beautiful. At last we have a UK Government prepared to stand up fully to the bullies of the EU.

Observations

This letter clearly sets out the natural, common sense, rational response to the EU's absurdities over the past four years, since the British people voted to leave the sclerotic, undemocratic, and dysfunctional EU.

We applaud David Frost and the Prime Minister.

I'm still sceptical they won't delay at last min. Won't forget how Mrs May gave all the same right signals then extended at the last minute. I want to be positive, I want to be out completely with no ties but until I know the final deal. I'm happy with WTO if it stops us giving away control.

13. Kay, I am with you on this. When you think of May and Heath and Cameron - all supposed Conservatives and what they have done to our country with their EEC/EC obsession I could spit at them. I am also happy with WTO and out completely. Just look at the treatment of Greece, Italy and our own Fishing and agriculture and lets not forget our defences which has been weakened beyond belief under these so-called conservative governments!
Now they want Huawei also!
I think the real conservative party died decades ago.

'... the EU.... is instead insisting on additional, unbalanced, and unprecedented provisions in a range of areas...'
I would like to see Barnier's face when the French translator reads out 'unbalanced' not as 'inequitable' but as 'unhinged'!

Judging by the reply (on SkyNews) old Barnier was very p*ssed to get that letter !
Lets terminate the Transition Period on 1/7/2020 and denounce the Withdrawal Agreement.

The only thing I would have added would have been a deadline. The EU love deadlines. About 14 days would be sufficient and if nothing sensible or constructive is received, we walk.
