Latest EU figures reveal UK is EU27's top export market for services, bigger than USA

UK is bigger for EU27 than China, Singapore, Japan, Russia, Canada, Brazil & India combined

The latest figures released by the EU’s official statistics agency have revealed a significant fact ahead of the UK-EU trade talks which are due to start next week – or whenever the EU have finally decided their negotiating position.

Naturally this new information from Thursday has not been publicised by the EU Commission, nor by the BBC, so the Brexit Facts4EU.Org team thought that the British people, politicians, (and the UK Government’s Brexit negotiating team) might wish to know.

When do trade negotiations finally start?

Back in early January, before the UK had even left the EU (albeit in name only), we predicted that negotiations would not commence until early March. It now looks likely that they will start between 2-5 March 2020.

This is more than one month after the UK’s formal departure, and three and a half years since the EU first knew that the British people had voted to leave. Unfortunately the EU are still not ready with their negotiating position.

The EU is already trying to airbrush the UK out of history

The report produced by the EU statistics agency refers to 2018 – when the UK was most definitely still a very full member of the EU. Nonetheless it refers to the UK as if it had already left.

Readers will note that this EU report highlights the USA ahead of the UK. As we have shown above, according to the EU’s own figures it is the United Kingdom which is the biggest market for EU27 services, NOT the USA.

Observations

We have brought you the information above following a release of data from the EU’s official statistics agency. This agency is in the process of rewriting history, in the best traditions of quasi-Soviet totalitarianism.

In 2018 the UK was (sadly) nowhere near leaving the EU, and yet the EU's report refers to the UK as an export market, not part of the EU. This is not an isolated case and we find this rewriting of history to be deeply disturbing – even if it is not unexpected from an agent of the EU monolith.

Sadly the EU eurocrats simply can’t ever bring themselves to put the UK first, even when the facts put the UK there. We can - and we WILL - continue to do so when this is what the facts show. We intend to continue to pump out all the positive facts about Brexit and the UK’s bright new future as an independent country again, for as long as we can.

Who would have thought, I certainly didn't think that we're the largest services market for the EU! Thank you so much for bringing this news. You guys just have to keep going. The mainstream media is shameful and does little else than brainwashing and belittling our nation.

Yes that is the part that hisses me off worst: "belittling our nation." - which has been going on for decades. Since the 'New Labour' days this has increased dramatically. It is institutionalised, part of the swamp. I sincerely hope Cummins is able to break this madness.

"EU BOSSES will insist Britain maintains its ban on chlorinated chicken imports as part of any future free trade deal with Brussels after a last-minute intervention by the French." Breitbart....... I thought salad was already washed with chlorinated water ? So what is the difference?

#3 Concerned: There's an article about the EU demands on chlorinated chicken on the BBC website. In the HYS amongst all the usual snide remarks from the Euro-fanatics there's an interesting comment that Danish and Dutch pig farmers rear their pigs to much lesser standards than is allowed in the UK (for example they can keep pigs in small cages), but Britain can't ban the meat because it is produced in the EU. I noted that there was no comeback from the remoaners and it also explains why the joint of Danish gammon that I bought in Tesco's was half the price of the equivalent joint produced in England!
