I do so hope that Boris Johnson pulls through. He showed such fortitude during his illness shut away at 10 Downing Street. Unfortunately, by valiantly not wishing to make a fuss about his own ill health, he put himself last in his list of priorities. Boris, the Country Needs You, and likes you.. And that's a fact.

Yes indeed most of the country is behind Boris, and I hope and pray he survives. Of course there will be a tiny minority who have not the best interests of country or Boris at heart. We all know who they are, so I will not mention them. To them I say your plotting and scheming for your socialist masters ultimately is doomed to fail - just like communism fails wherever it has ever been tried.

1. J Slater Essex UK - yes, I think Boris was too stoic and too brave in trying to stay at the helm whilst his condition was obviously worsening. Tells you quite a bit bout the man and his bulldog spirit - shades of Churchill. This country has never needed him more than it does now and I think without him we could have kissed even a pretend Brexit goodbye! Mightily relieved to hear that he is stable and in good spirits and only on oxygen. Sent him a get well card yesterday and included Carrie who must be under a great deal of stress under the present circumstances and her condition. This is another moment in history when we must all pull together for the sake of the nation.

I am no fan of this Tory Government but I hope Boris Johnson gets well He needs to put His own Health first

I, too, wish Boris a speedy recovery
- but even then, it will not show on the reported UK Recovery figures that have stubbornly remained at 135 for the last month or so. https://www.worldometers.in...
Is the NHS so badly run, that once you enter their hallowed portals, you never come out again unless in a box? Or are the 'Active Cases' being deliberately exaggerated through excluding those who have recovered? - Neither of which gives you any confidence in the Establishment. Once again we are being lied to.

Iam from south of Hayes, Middlesex - As the coronavirus out break continues, we all face the difficult challenge of responding to the impact its having on our lives. I feel its our duty to support each other through these uncertain times. We may be socially distanced these indefinitely, but we don't have to be spiritually disconnected. We wish our Prime Minster A full and speedy recovery, from this spiteful covid-19. Our thoughts are with him and his loved ones .

Our PM deserves every good wish for a complete & speedy recovery. A return of his positivity and optimism would be very welcome again. There is no room for spite and spiteful language from anyone during these challenging times. Hopefully the messages of support are reaching him and his partner & wider family.
