A new EU government takes over our lives today

On the first day in office of the new EU Commission - and with profuse apologies to the late J.R.R. Tolkien - we amend one of his famous verses:

“The Lady of the Rings”

“Three Rings for the Executive Vice-Presidents under the sky,
Five Rings for the Vice-Presidents in their halls of stone,
Eighteen for Mortal Commissioners doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lady on her dark throne
In the Land of Mordeur where the Shadows lie.

The new EU Commission takes office today, 01 December 2019

The new EU Commission consists of : 1 President, 3 Executive Vice-Presidents, 5 Vice-Presidents, 18 Commissioners.

You didn’t vote any of them in, and you can’t vote any of them out. They were appointed. On Wednesday 27 November the MEPs from the EU Parliament rubber-stamped these appointments. None were elected in a competitive, democratic ballot – and this includes the role of President of the Commission.

Observations

A general election is taking place in the United Kingdom. On 12 December the British people will vote. A government will then be formed, and cabinet ministers will be selected by the leader of the largest party. All of these cabinet ministers will normally have been elected by voters in his or her constituency.

The system might not be perfect, but it does at least involve making a choice.

And - as far as we are aware - none of the cabinet ministers in the UK will have been a former Miss World contestant, unlike the new EU Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli. (To be fair to Ms Dalli, she does have a degree from Nottingham University in “Political Sociology”.)

...and in one fell swoop the future for EU countries is laid out clearly.
All references to the European 'Union', the 27 member states plus one cash cow colony largely funding it, have disappeared. All titles are now just 'European', although the EU is just a part of Europe. Let's not forget that there are another four Presidents of other EU institutions, plus two further 'country' Presidents.
The titles of the Commissioners clearly demonstrates the areas of governance over which the EU has control rather than the countries. These are the areas which will remain under EU control until we actually leave, & also show where levers WILL be manipulated, via passing laws that we will be obliged to obey, to return us to their control should Boris achieve his deceitful wish & replace the Treaties that we voted to leave with an equally bad 'new' Treaty of obeying the masters. Of course, laws may not be directly related to the subject in hand. In the past, they have utilised levers in a different area to exert their required changes to circumvent our veto (which of course we will no longer have).
I see that the senior bods now have wishy washy titles to obscure the real purpose.
Green Deal - the latest money laundering scheme, which allows them not only to tax people until they squeak, but control and restrict their activities & liberties.
Fit for Digital Age - control over communications & propaganda. See articles 11 & 13 passed earlier this year for details.
Economy that works for people - Finances
Stronger Europe in the world - Defence
Interinstitutional relations & foresight, Values & transparency, Democracy & demography, Promoting the European way of life - my words would be unprintable.
Where, oh where is Schema Miller to take them to Court for misrepresentation & intentionally deceptive promotion?

I find some of the job titles strange. For example - Crisis Management. The EU has an ongoing illegal immigrant crisis which has been unable to manage.
Commissioners require no qualifications related to the job, they are a share out of political appointments amongst the Member States. They are figure heads in the EU administrative departments.

The Commissioners for 'European Green Deal' and 'Energy' what Diktats will their departments dream up to comply with 'The State of Emergency' declared by the Strasbourg EU Parliament on Thursday the 28th November 2019.

‪So here we are still in the EU after voting to leave on 23rd June 2016 and the corrupt EU dictatorship has regenerated itself like a 27 headed serpent slithering through the lives of the British people as from today.‬
Billions lost because of our politicians wilful reinterpretation of what leaving the EU actually means to suit their own political agendas and on the horizon a chance to vote them out on the 12th December. Let’s hope we make the right decision to get as many true Brexiteers voted in this time.
Seize the opportunity to vote for the Brexit Party (if you have a candidate), UKIP if no Brexit Party and if neither of the previous a good Brexit independent candidate.

This reminds me of king theoden of rohan from the two towers.the EU have cursed and manipulated our Parliament and country.only by leaving the EU can we awaken from our nightmare,and breath the free air again.

'On December 12 we will elect a new democratically elected Parliament' ........who will be dictated to by these unelected and unaccountable commissars.
Further evidence (if required) that we MUST leave to regain both our freedom and independence.

EU policy is to seek the demise of the diesel/petrol vehicle and use of fossil fuel, will Timmermans under the State of Emergency oversee the crash of the Western European car Industry. Will the Eastern Member States replace their coal fired generating plants with ?
Germany will not be pleased, It is reported - Daimler, the German company that makes Mercedes-Benz cars, will slash at least 10,000 jobs worldwide in a major cost-cutting drive to help finance the switch to electric cars.
“The total number worldwide will be in the five-digits,” said personnel chief Wilfried Porth. More than 1,000 managers stand to lose their jobs.

Unfortunately, this excellent article won't be read by the orc-types who are already in thrall to their EU masters. Using 'The Lord of the Rings' as a metaphor for the EU is insightful. There are many similarities!

No doubt Timmermans and our Lord Deben (Chairman CCC) will be at COP 25 in Madrid tomorrow joining the doomsters in declaring Catastrophe is about to overtake the Worlds Climate unless we forsake our lifestyle.
