It has been widely reported that Theresa May’s inner circle are on the verge of launching a widespread propaganda campaign aimed at the general public, in order to try to sell her ‘sell-out non-Brexit Brexit’ plans, as soon as they have been signed off by Brussels.
As part of the campaign, Remainer business organisations such as the CBI will be used. It is expected that this government campaign could start within days.

“In our opinion, the direction of Brexit will ultimately be decided by votes in Parliament. We can be sure of the support of the DUP, the European Research wing of the Conservative Party and some Labour stalwarts like Kate Hoey MP, Frank Field MP and Graham Stringer MP.
“However, it is the so-called ‘wobbly centre’ of both Labour and particularly the Conservatives that will dictate the ultimate destination of the Brexit process. These MPs have a myriad of views on Brexit but have one unifying trait – they will do anything to retain their seats.
“We aim to put pressure on these swing MPs in a number of ways to ensure the referendum result is respected and then delivered.”

I am pleased former Transport Minister Jo Johnson MP had the courage to resign from Government, though I OBJECT to his ulterior motive where he suggests the decision must come back to the people [Source: BBC Red Button] or in other words, he seeks what may be seen as a second vote? This MUST be resisted. Jo Johnson MUST realise we had the largest ever so-called 'peoples vote' on 23 June, 2016, and he lost.

Message: There is a very good article in CityAM about a bacon producer called Finnebrogue. They are prevented from exporting by regulations. Opportunities are being squandered. We need more similar case studies with which to bombard the media. Have trade associations been contacted. Surely they would be the people to provide evidence of the stifling effect of EU regulation on our manufacturing industries.

If the UK is forced to: stay in the Customs Union, stay in the Single Market, continue to accept free movement, continue to be subject to a foreign court and foreign laws, and continue to transfer vast amounts of its wealth to Brussels each year, then it hasn’t left the European Union.
No amount of lawyerly misuse of the English language will be able to disguise the fact. Any one of these impositions would mean the UK hadn’t truly left the EU. For all of them to be the case after 29 March 2019 would be extraordinary.
And yet this is precisely what Prime Minister May appears to be about to foist on the British people.
To add insult to injury, it also seems to be her intention to allow this to continue after the end of the Transition Period.
‘YOU ARE NOT LEAVING’
In effect, in March 2017 Mrs May told the EU that the UK is leaving and the EU told her that it can’t. And she has accepted the EU’s dictatorship of the Brexit process from that day.
The EU is dictating that the UK cannot leave and is using a part of the United Kingdom’s territory as a way of making departure impossible.
Let’s be clear, as the PM would say. Not only will the UK not be leaving on 29 March next year – in just 20 weeks’ time – but it also looks as though the UK will effectively be prevented from leaving after the end of May’s Transition Period. And she is even talking about extending that beyond 2020.
THE FUDGE
Astonishingly, Mrs May appears to be accepting that the UK can only fully leave the EU at some unspecified point in the future IF the EU agrees.
Rumours abound of some kind of ‘independent body’ which will be set up to adjudicate this, so that Theresa May can sell the deal to the public. In reality this body will adjudicate based on pre-agreed conditions from the EU being met. In no way can this be described as the UK making a sovereign decision.
ARTICLE 50
Clause 3: “The Treaties shall cease to apply to the State in question from the date of entry into force of the withdrawal agreement or, failing that, two years after the notification referred to in paragraph 2, unless the European Council, in agreement with the Member State concerned, unanimously decides to extend this period.”
Nowhere in the wording of Article 50 does it say
“The Member State cannot leave until it satisfies some arbitrary demands of the remaining European Union states.”
OBSERVATIONS
What on earth does Theresa May think she’s playing at? Membership of the EU isn’t like some timeshare contract that you can’t get out of. She should have simply told the EU we were leaving on 29 March 2019 with or without a deal.
CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Yesterday Brexit Facts4EU.Org published the latest pronouncements from the Irish Foreign Minister and Deputy Head of Brexit negotiations for the EU.
We would like to remind these individuals – as well as all others working for the EU and all members of the British Cabinet – of the first Clause in Article 50 :-
‘1. Any Member State may decide to withdraw from the Union in accordance with its own constitutional requirements.’
One might have thought that an essential ‘constitutional requirement’ for the United Kingdom was to retain its sovereign territory.
Do we really need to remind the bureaucrats of Brussels and the politicians of the EU27 that the United Kingdom fought wars defending the sovereign territory of their own countries?
Most sadly of all, it appears that we have to remind our own Prime Minister of this fact.
Please use the Brexit Battle Pack today. Please take some time to read the advice and then act. The Prime Minister, her Cabinet, and all MPs apparently need to be told to deliver the decision of the British people which was made in the largest act of democracy in the country’s history.

Message: We all must all be shown the full Legal Advice before signing off the plan. As taxpayers, we pay the governments salaries, and we have the moral and I'm sure a legal right to see this and I for one want to ASAP. Transparency is vital. We wouldn't buy a house without knowing if it's freehold or leasehold, and if something was amiss after the purchase we could sue and win. Why is TM being evasive? Why is she so reluctant to show her fellow MPs and the public, unless she has something to hide? Is TM doing a Ted Heath? Experience has shown we can't trust her to be honest, ethical or remotely wise. She must be forced to show the published advice. It's in the public interest simply because this affects the whole UK and she works for us.... or does she?

Message: As far as we know May never ever did anything remarkable in her entire life so far. As a Home Secretary we didn't even notice she was there. In her private life she thinks that doing some walking is highly exciting and challenging. It's unlikely that she'll ever write a worthy footnote in the history books by her acts as a Prime Minister. She got there by accident. The problem is, we can't laugh any more as it's getting serious. Her total incompetence puts our country and all of us in danger.

Extricating the UK from the clutches of an increasingly-totalitarian EU was supposed to involve the return of sovereignty and democratic control to a newly-independent and economically-vibrant United Kingdom.

Message: I address this to ALL UK peers and elected MPs, whether or not they voted remain or Leave the EU. It also applies to remoaners.
In all seriousness, I ask what our Union Flag [proudly displayed in this article] means to you? I only speak for myself, though I'm confident 17.4m+ Brexiteers may feel the same. Our Union Flag is historic in every sense and we are proud to show our colours. It gives us our British identity and history.
By contrast, the blue flag of a non-country is waved by individuals appearing to have too much time on their hands? They wave the flag of this non-country and wish to submit themselves to a dictatorial foreign power, without realising this foreign power is attacking UK democracy itself with everything at its disposal. Remoaners ignore the largest democratic expression in British history simply because they don't accept the outcome.
The annoying reality is that whilst we go short at home and see extreme cuts to our services, we presently subsidise this foreign power by virtue of us being the EU's second highest NET contributor.
British taxpayers are still being taken for granted and we did not elect a bureaucratic, unaccountable, dictatorial EU we can never remove (and a threatening one at that). We should not be allowing the remaining EU leaders to dictate to us.
Remoaners should ask themselves, WHO GOVERNS OUR COUNTRY?
Worse than this is the fact we have a 'remain' Prime Minister who believes more in the EU than she does our own country. The Office of UK Prime Minister has in my opinion been brought into disrepute by the present incumbent, and the establishment will help spin the EU in every possible way?
So when all these remoaners have finished whinging, it may be helpful if they spend their time supporting OUR country?

HEARD THE ONE ABOUT THE IRISHMEN WHO…?

THE IRISH & THE EU DOUBLE DOWN ON MAY
Here is a question for all readers. Firstly, please go back in your minds to the first half of 2016.
“Would you like your government to spend over two years of
Brexit negotiations on the Republic of Ireland, and for the eventual form of Brexit to be decided by this?”
It is of course important to put this question into context. The seemingly never-ending discussions taking place in London and Brussels are about the border between Northern Ireland – part of the United Kingdom – and the Republic of Ireland.
Yesterday the British cabinet met, with Brexit being the most important topic. The previous day, Ireland’s Foreign Minister Simon Coveney tweeted out the following, very clear message to the British government.

EU AND IRELAND'S DOUBLE ACT
Just 50 minutes later, the EU’s deputy head of Brexit negotiations (Sabine Weyand) re-tweeted Mr Coveney’s tweet, backing it. Ms Weyand is a German and is no.2 to Frenchman Michel Barnier.

The above is a reinforcing statement released the day before the meeting of the British cabinet, giving Theresa May more ammunition to push through her (and unelected civil servant Ollie Robbins') version of a non-Brexit Brexit.
OBSERVATIONS
All of the leaks from yesterday’s cabinet meeting in No.10 indicate that the question of the Irish border is defining Theresa May’s entire Brexit strategy.
This issue – or rather, non-issue – is being used to keep the UK tied into the EU’s structures for years, and quite possibly forever.
It is effectively the cover for remaining in the EU’s Customs Union and being governed by Single Market rules and directives, thereby denying the UK any possibility of gaining the substantial economic benefits of Brexit.
IRELAND
Without wishing in any way to disrespect the importance of Ireland as an independent country, its population is barely 1/14th the size of the UK’s.
And yet this one absurd and unnecessary non-issue of how to process the passage of goods across a tiny border is dominating the entire Brexit strategy of the United Kingdom government led by Theresa May. And it has been dominating that strategy for the last two years.
This Prime Minister is deliberately steering the country towards a non-Brexit Brexit. Furthermore she is on the point of making the UK a mere colony of the EU, with no voting rights.

Message: With all respect to the Irish people, their government seem to have completely lost the plot on the question who their real friends are. If they dismiss the UK as a temporary mate and accomplice in the EU they have yet to learn a huge and bitter lesson in the near future. All they have to do is to look at how the EU behaves towards the UK right now, one of their biggest contributors in most aspects.

CHANNEL 4 SHOULD BE
BASED IN BRUSSELS
Last night Channel 4 aired a programme entitled “Brexit – What The Nation Really Thinks”.
The arch-europhiles at Channel 4 based their programme around a poll conducted by Survation on their behalf. It showed a majority for Remain.

If, like us, you find Channel 4 to be virtually unwatchable these days, you may have missed their programme.
If you don’t have enough time, don’t worry. It really wasn’t good television, in our opinion.
WHAT THE NATION REALLY KNOWS
PRO-BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
POLLING, RESULTS, DEMOCRACY
- We know the opinion pollsters predicted a victory for Remain in the Referendum
- We know the result of the Referendum was a victory for Leave
- The biggest exercise in democracy in the UK must be respected and implemented
- It is perfectly clear that Theresa May has no intention of doing this
BREXIT FACTS MATTER
Putting aside any critiques people may have about Channel 4’s programme last night, we suggest there is one important aspect to consider.
For more than two-and-a-half years the people of the United Kingdom have been bombarded with propaganda from the pro-Remain Establishment. This is incontrovertible.
For example there have now been numerous studies of the proportion of Remain versus Leave guests appearing on TV programmes since the Referendum. The Remain bias is so bad we wonder how it is that so many TV editors and producers feel they can stay in their jobs.
In last night's programme, all three MPs were Remain supporters. They were lined up against Nigel Farage, who of course is not an MP. As usual there was a bias of 75% Remainers. Yet the majority of the country voted to leave.
To take another recent example, Andrew Marr’s ‘interview’ on Sunday of Arron Banks, founder of the unofficial Leave.EU campaign, was a complete disgrace. This wasn’t an interview, it was an aggressive tirade from a bitter BBC Remoaner.
OBSERVATIONS
If anyone from the Beeb is reading this, please supply us with video of an Andrew Marr interview with a Remainer which remotely resembles the treatment handed out to Mr Banks. (And if anyone from Channel 4 is reading this, please supply us with a list of all your interviewees since the Referendum, when Brexit has been discussed.)
We have no connection with Mr Banks (his choice), and nor do we have any details of his funding of Leave.EU’s unofficial campaign.
We suggest that no-one needs any inside knowledge to see that the ‘interview’ with Mr Banks was a hatchet job. We are sorry to use such language but we can no longer be remotely polite to the BBC, nor to Sky News, ITN or Channel 4.
If you break the rules so blatantly and repeatedly, you forgo any right to respect.
And to Krishnan Guru-Murthy we would simply say this: Channel 4 is supposed to be a national broadcaster. How often have you ventured out of your smug little Remainer London world since the Referendum?
We don't profess to know what everyone thinks, but our readers come from as far afield as the north of Scotland, the west of Northern Ireland, the west of Wales, the tip of the South-West and South-East of England, and all points in between.
You might not meet them at the London dinner parties you attend, Krishnan, but they matter. And they pay your salary.

UK TO STAY IN THE EU, BUT RULED FROM BRUSSELS
Readers who scanned the Sunday papers yesterday will be aware of yet another report of Theresa May’s imminent capitulation to the EU. Frankly, the details of this report hardly matter any more.
Brexit Facts4EU.Org has repeatedly referred to the UK’s future status as being that of the EU’s first major colony, if the Prime Minister and her unelected mandarins led by Ollie Robbins get their way.
Yesterday the Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP wrote a piece for The Sun entitled “£40bn bill to become an EU colony”. It’s good to see politicians catching up.
Whilst it’s true that Jacob Rees-Mogg MP has for some time referred to the UK becoming a “vassal state”, using the language of the 19th century doesn’t perhaps truly convey what the Prime Minister appears to be proposing.
OBSERVATIONS
THIS IS A FAKE BREXIT – BUT IT’S EVEN WORSE THAN THAT
Regardless of the daily drip-feed of deliberate leaks and off-record briefings from No.10, Brussels, and pro-Brexit MPs alike, it has been clear for a long time that Theresa May will propose a non-Brexit Brexit.
Perhaps we should be clearer. Theresa May’s Brexit will mean Remain. But with knobs on.
The ‘knobs’ in this case are the agreement for the UK to be ruled from Brussels, with no say whatsoever on rules, directives and laws which the EU can decide, without any reference to Parliament.
MAASTRICHT HAS NOTHING ON THIS
The Maastricht Treaty was a huge step along the road to establishing the United States of Europe and was an abomination. It started the slippery slope towards the annihilation of self-governance and any pretence of the United Kingdom continuing to be an independent country.
The Lisbon Treaty then made Maastricht look like a teddy bears’ picnic.
Theresa May’s proposed legal Withdrawal Treaty with the EU will make both Maastricht and Lisbon look like Declarations of Independence.
This woman must be stopped.

Message: Thank you Tom N, Dartmouth, for your validation, we must remain optimistic when the DEVIL is in the mixture. Chris, in Devizes, UK is right, Hammond, Helestine and many others too long to list have a vested interest in staying in the EU. Although Chris, I'm inclined to think TM is looking after her husband concerns as she tends to be passive and subservient around men, allowing the likes of Junker and Tusk, to paw her while aggressive around women. Most men and women I speak to are disgusted by her behaviour, but then my friends are noble people.
I also wonder why the brexiteers are not doing something unless as you say, Chris, they're closet remainers, which I've tended to believe all along. They may surprise us yet? I sincerely hope so.
The thing about perceived power is it attracts pathological personalities, and then power becomes FORCE, and that's magnetic to the corruptible. Some start out with good intentions but quickly become intoxicated with money, and quickly become addicted.

Message: I have a simple message for UK [ELECTED] MPs sitting in the House of Commons, "elected" being the operative word. Message: What is staggering is that even with such an appalling act of treason, the Brexiteers seem happy to just sit back and do nothing. Why are they not triggering a confidence vote? Maybe they are really closet Remainers.

Most of the prominent Remainers have a well known personal vested interest in staying in the EU. For example, Hammond runs a company called Castlemead, which is heavily dependent on cheap East European labour. And Hesletine receives an annual grant of £91k from the EU to subsidise his farms. But what is May's hook? Has she been promised a top job in the Commission? Maybe she is in line for Tusk's job?

Message: I’ve just reread Peter Shore (labour MP) 1975 speech, not once but a few times lately. He spoke at the Oxford Union debate 3 days before the 1975 referendum exposing the media and the governments "Project Fear" activities, his speech sends shivers down my spine. However, ethical, honest and wise people have that effect on you. He proved to be right about numerous things.
Since 1945 governmental paranoia has been like a roller coaster, reaching insanity levels. Feeding fears on a daily basis are what the government are good at. AND when it fails with the 18 - 50 plus group they start on the pensioners. MESSAGE TO THE GOVERNMENT DON’T BOTHER - Most pensioners are too poor to worry about what they’ve never had (you made sure of that) or will have, too neglected (NHS crisis) to have the strength to worry, or didn’t vote anyway!
And those with good health have enough to live on because of planning and never putting all our eggs in one basket (unlike UK with EU), we’re simply UNMOVED by threats, we know how to stand up to bullies.
We’ve been through the 1963 Cuban Missile Crisis (advice from the BBC then was wear stout boots). I still chuckle a lot at this! We’ve been through many recessions, 15% mortgage rates, 3-day working weeks, petrol coupons, blackouts, typing by candlelight, cooking on camping stoves, low incomes, the Cold War, expensive useless leaflets on how to survive a nuclear attack, AND we survived the Falklands war! We’re immune to scaremongering.
What do we need right now (amongst continual facts) are strong MPs who I sincerely hope have enough stamina and ethics to call a halt to this misguided soul (TM) who appears to be without a conscience and change the course of history. We absolutely NEED wise and dedicated individuals like facts4eu and other Leave Campaign groups, because collectively you’re as important to society as good parents are for well-adjusted children.
All I can do is educate our grandchildren - reassure our sons in business with factual sites like yours. Send them speeches like Peter Shore’s (43 years ago) keep them going with emotional support, persist with MPs, continue to ask my friends who do read your site to cough up. (Only fair for such amazing facts and insights). I consider our monthly contribution, money well spent.

Message: If we thought that our vote in 2016 on EU membership might have been our last democratic opportunity to leave the EU - well, it wasn't. As it turns out our vote is not considered 'meaningful' already. If it's not, following votes won't be either. I can't help wondering how much remainers are prepared to give away from fundamentals, just to stay in the ever-tightening EU 'cuddle'. Are the remainers sure that they in fact knew what they were voting for? I guess not and what is even more worrying they still don't seem to.

WHAT DOES STAYING IN THE CUSTOMS UNION MEAN?
Here is how the EU Commission defines the Customs Union:-
“The customs union is a single trading area where all goods circulate freely, whether made in the EU or imported from outside.”
As ever, the EU then waxes lyrical on the supposed benefits to consumers. For example:
“enforcing rules that protect the environment and health & safety (e.g. refusing entry to contaminated foodstuffs or potentially dangerous electrical appliances)”

WHAT’S WRONG WITH THAT?
This sounds sensible of course, but enforcing a country's standards is exactly what non-EU countries do too, and they are not part of the EU’s Customs Union.
So this ‘benefit’ simply means that rules and tariffs which are decided in Brussels, with no effective say from British MPs, are enforced across all EU member countries - whether they agree with them or not.
WHAT IS “THE COMMON EXTERNAL TARIFF”?
What the EU Commission conveniently fails to mention in its summary is what is known as “the Common External Tariff”. This is odd, given that this is what really affects people in their daily lives.
The Common External Tariff is described in the singular, but in reality it prescribes tens of thousands of import tariffs covering tens of thousands of products which ordinary people buy in the shops – or increasingly online.
WHO DOES THIS HELP?
Together with all the EU’s ‘rules’, these tariffs are there to protect uncompetitive French farmers and manufacturers.
Well, actually that’s not fair. They are also there to protect uncompetitive farmers and manufacturers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, etc, etc. One demos the EU is far less worried about is that of those who work in UK agriculture. Or indeed in many of the other industries and service sectors in which the UK excels.
HERE’S AN EXAMPLE:
We researched the EU’s full list of ‘Geographical Indication Protections’ for agricultural food products (excluding drink products), to see how much British farmers are benefiting from our EU membership.
The EU claims over 3,300 products are protected in total, of which a large proportion are drinks. We found around 1500 food product designations in the EU’s listings.
The results for the UK’s farmers make for sorry reading, with just 81 products being specified – a tiny fraction of the protections afforded to the other 27 countries. Given the size of the UK's economy this is astonishing.

STAYING IN THE CUSTOMS UNION MEANS STAYING IN THE EU
Whatever fudge Olly Robbins has come up with, the Prime Minister will present this to the cabinet tomorrow and it will involve staying in the Customs Union. It will not be presented in exactly those terms of course, but this is what it will mean in practice.
Being outside the Customs Union would automatically mean that goods will cross a customs and excise border. This is what happens when you are an independent country. It is what happens when British exporters send their goods to the UK’s biggest customer, the USA. It’s normal.
And yes, the USA IS the UK’s single biggest customer, despite what Remainers would have you believe.
It is also what happens when American suppliers send their goods to the UK. They arrive in ports or airports, and - bizarrely - they are simply processed and they go on their way to British companies or consumers. This happens efficiently and without fuss.
THE BIGGEST ISSUE OF ALL – ECONOMICALLY
Perhaps the single biggest issue financially is that if the Prime Minister continues with her policy, the UK will not gain the biggest economic advantage of Brexit.
Under the PM’s plans it is inconceivable that the UK will be able to strike the trade deals which the Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP, Secretary of State for International Trade, has been lining up in the last two years.
This means no reductions in the prices of imported goods. It also means no increase in exports as a result of bilateral trade deals.
OBSERVATIONS
In the words of Boris Johnson in The Sun yesterday, if the PM really does put forward a deal that keeps the UK effectively in the Customs Union “it is an absolute stinker”.
Sorry Boris, for heaven’s sake put up or shut up. You’re in Parliament and the vast majority of our readers are not.
Stand against the woman. If you’re going to go down, go down fighting.

EU COMMISSION RELEASES 2017 TRADE REPORT
EU’S “TRADE AGREEMENTS”
ANNUAL REPORT
The EU Commission has just released its trade report for last year, covering the variety of “trade agreements” it claims to have in place.
As usual, most of the countries on the EU’s list have tiny economies.

WHAT DOES THE REPORT SAY?
The EU’s report covers agreements which are hardly trade agreements at all, but which relate to the EU providing assistance to under-developed countries. Some of these are not even detailed in the report as they are described as ‘not significant’.
Sadly the bulk of the Commission’s commentary in the report involves matters which barely concern the UK’s exporters, such as the number of newly-protected names of French and Italian foods and wines.
The Prosecco drinkers inhabiting Hampstead and the Chilterns will no doubt be relieved to hear that in 2017 the Moldovan Supreme Court granted protected status to their favourite tipple.
(Moldova's economy is 1/330th of the size of the UK's economy. And no, that is not a misprint.)

WHAT ABOUT THE FINANCIALS?
One of the EU Commission report’s key financial highlights was an increase in exports of motor vehicles to South Korea. In 2017 these rose by 7.3%.
The only problem is that in 2016 these had fallen by an even greater 7.5%. In other words exports of vehicles merely recovered to nearly where they were two years ago.
The trade agreements which do matter financially are mostly those with neighbouring countries such as Switzerland and Norway, with which the UK will rapidly agree similar arrangements. The report does not even show an export total for 2017 compared to 2016, for exports to countries with whom the EU claims to have agreements.
Once again the EU’s official report and ‘factsheets’ are at odds with the number of trade deals it has reported on in other documents, and on which we have reported in full.
According to the EU’s own definition of “trade deals in place”, these cover only 8% of the world economy.

OBSERVATIONS
The overriding impression a reader gets from the various documents that the EU Commission has released on its performance in striking trade deals in 2017 is that business is not the focus of the EU Commission.
Perhaps this is not surprising, given that the unelected bureaucrat appointed to be in charge as the EU Trade Commissioner has had no experience in trade.
The EU Commission seems far more interested in driving its own political agenda, which is why there are many words written about matters such as encouraging “mechanisms of consulting civil society”. There is also a focus on the agricultural products emanating from France, Italy, and the other southern member countries.
THERESA'S NON-BREXIT BREXIT DEAL
None of this really helps the UK, yet the UK is precluded from striking any trade deals whilst it remains a member of the EU. In fact, under Theresa May’s current plans, the UK will even be precluded from striking any meaningful trade deals throughout the seemingly unending ‘Transition Period’ she seems determined to agree with them.
MESSAGE FOR REMOANERS
Next time you want to wail about “all the trade deals the EU has negotiated which we’ll lose if we leave”, we suggest you research the facts, as we’ve done for the last three years.
Only a handful of these EU ‘trade deals’ are worth anything at all. The average world ranking of the countries with which the EU claims to have some form of trade agreement is 87th.
The EU has no trade deals in place with the world’s top 10 non-EU economies. It claims ‘trade deals’ when in fact many of these are agreements are simply wordy ‘partnerships’ supported by massive EU grants to develop those countries, to impose EU ‘values’, and to encourage them to join the EU.
And yes, we have analysed and reported in detail on all these 'deals' on this site, in previous articles.

Message: I suspect that the EU already have drafted their report for after we've 'left' with impressive changes to their charts, showing their EUtopian brilliance at how wonderful they are dealing with the rest of the world as we 'become' a third country, but still under their control (if our Govt has its way).
Those loud, but empty brain vessels, shouting for remaining (big clue there) in the Customs Union "We must remain in the Customs Union because (spins wheel)... trade agreements" and claiming that we'll have left seem to forget something. The other parties to the EU trade agreements are under no obligation to honour any of whatever concessions they made in that agreement with the UK as their agreement is with the EU. Meanwhile, we would have to comply with whatever 'concessions' the EU made. Another one-way street - an Oily/May speciality.
Brexiteers really need to pull up the EU shills, and whatever element or agency of the EU is brought up to correct them with "You mean remain in xxx. The vote was to leave."

Amazing, all the things they have in their magic hat: EU money which has nothing to do with the EU (except them collecting it from members), trade deals which have little to do with either real trade or what a normal person would call an actual deal. A bit like in the Soviet Union when the amazing results they announced for example in tractor production bore little resemblance to actual tractors produced.

Facts matter. They especially matter on something as important as Brexit.
They matter to you if you’re arguing a point with someone who thinks EU membership is a good thing, and they matter to pro-Brexit politicians and prominent campaigners who are seeking to persuade the government to deliver the Brexit people voted for over two years ago.
For nearly three years we have been researching facts using official sources – from the UK, from the EU Commission, Council and Parliament, and from national governments and world bodies.
On a daily basis we have published reports – sometimes very shocking ones – showing the facts behind all aspects of the Brexit debate.
THE ARGUMENT GOES ON
The decision has been made. In the largest exercise of democracy that the United Kingdom has ever seen, the majority voted to leave the European Union.
Sadly, we have all learnt that those who are used to getting their own way in running the country are simply unable to accept the result. Using all manner of tortuous arguments they wish to overturn the decision of the people and deny democracy.
SO WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?
Well, let’s think about this pragmatically. At Brexit Facts4EU.Org we’ve come up with two major practical methods of influencing the Brexit outcome.
We are presenting two ways to influence Remainer politicians, the media, and the large number of people who voted Remain based on what the they were told but who are now prepared to revisit that decision. These are people who have seen that Project Fear’s predictions of an immediate recession, 500-820,000 job losses, etc, have not come true.
We do NOT expect any of you to convert ‘Remoaners’. They are in any case a small proportion of the population. They are like religious zealots and no amount of factual and reasoned argument will ever convince them.
BUT HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS
We DO expect our work to be able to influence MPs, whose jobs are on the line. And we DO expect to be able to influence the media, some of whose audience numbers have dropped dramatically already.
And finally you and we can give pro-Brexit MPs, journalists and commentators the ammunition they need to counter all the nonsense we all see and hear every day from the Remain Establishment.

Message: It works! On third attempt, I actually got a reply from my MP, who is renowned for not answering constituents' correspondence. This MP responded to my pointing out his majority could easily disappear and he'd best look for another job, unless he fulfils the democratic vote of his constituents to leave the EU. This same MP has been advocating the Chequers Plan so I, and all of you with your MPs, need to keep the pressure on.

YET ANOTHER MONTH HAS GONE BY
We are currently all facing a pending abomination: a stain on the face of democracy. This is the government's policy of a non-Brexit Brexit which they will agree with the European Union before the end of this year.
It will not deliver Brexit on 29 March 2019. It will not respect the vote of the majority of people in the United Kingdom 123 weeks ago. It is notable for securing nothing whilst giving away even more power to Brussels.
Far from taking back control, it will hand it on a plate to the dysfunctional and sclerotic organisation which teeters and staggers its way from crisis to crisis, all the while usurping ever-increasing powers for itself from the demos of its member countries.
The United Kingdom will be little more than a colony of the EU, with few powers and no ability to prevent the totalitarians who effectively run 'the projekt' from installing more diktats to cripple the UK as a competitive global force.
COMING UP
In response to the government, here at Brexit Facts4EU.Org the team is busy re-invigorating one initiative and launching a major new one. We are doing what we can with the very small financial resources at our disposal. Tomorrow the new initiative will be tested for the first time.
