EU'S FAILURES ON A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT
Reports criticise EU for failures on hazardous chemicals

Health, housing and education
1. According to the Office of National Statistics’ data and at current trends, in 4 years' time the UK will have an extra 1.9 million EU immigrants with NI numbers enabling them to work here legally.

2. And of course many of them will bring their families. Even if some of them don't stay forever, that's a huge number.

3. With so many jobseekers, imagine the effect on wages for UK workers. And how will we house these people, school their children, give them GP and hospital care?

4. EU freedom of movement laws mean that our Government is literally powerless.

The only way to stop this massive influx is to leave the EU.

EU FAILS TO PROTECT PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT - THE UK IS POWERLESS TO ACT
EU is criticised strongly in official reports for failures on hazardous chemicals.
UK now has no right to ban chemicals even if they're thought to cause cancer.
  1. The EU slammed has been strongly criticised in reports for failing to protect people & the environment.
  2. The EU finally started acting on hazardous chemicals and issued a Directive in 2009 known as REACH.
  3. Since then the EU has been criticised for slowness and very strange decisions.
  4. The EEB (European Environmental Bureau) said in December “European citizens and the environment will continue to be unnecessarily exposed to substances of very high concern”.
  5. International Chemical Secretariat (ChemSec) in April 2016 described EU’s decisions as ‘peculiar’ and ‘unfortunate’.
  6. ChemSec say EU decisions expose us to chemicals ‘harmful to human health and the environment’ and that the EU adopts a “business-as-usual approach by which authorisations become permits to pollute”.
The UK could regain the power to protect its own citizens if it left the EU.
