Professor Ian Plimer has managed to upset people around the world, from the professional climate change lobby to mainstream media in Australia and even in the United Kingdom (the Guardian). As Facts4EU.Org is an upholder of freedom of expression, we are pleased to provide a platform for readers to watch and listen to an alternative viewpoint on the topic of Climate Change and Net Zero. We leave readers to watch and to make up their own minds.

About Professor Plimer

Professor Plimer is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, and the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He is also an honorary Fellow of the Geological Society of London, a member of the Geological Society of Australia, of the Royal Society of South Australia, and of the Royal Society of New South Wales.

Observations

We are delighted to have Professor Plimer as our keynote speaker addressing us all on Sunday. He will provide information and make arguments which present an alternative viewpoint to the prevailing orthodoxy which we all receive from the mainstream media and our governments.

Here’s what our Chairman has to say about Professor Plimer :-

“Ian is a very controversial figure on the world stage and is fearless. He is also an excellent speaker with that rare ability to condense complex science into simple explanations for the layman. Whether you agree with him or not, you will not be bored.”

Professor Plimer will be introduced by Facts4EU.Org’s Chairman after which he will give us all a summary of his views for around five minutes. Our moderator Steven Tripp will then open this up to questions from online attendees, when the Professor will expand on the subject matter in more depth.

Let's be honest. You're not going to hear an alternative argument to the whole 'climate change' and Net Zero debate on the BBC, Sky News, or ITN. This is now 'settled science' in the same way the disastrous Covid lockdowns were based on 'settled science' in 2020 and 2021. As we all now know, the 'science' underpinning lockdowns simply ignored the terrible effects they had on excess deaths, mental health, the economy, the attitude to working from the office and indeed working generally, and especially on our young people.

This Net Zero is going to cost the country like nothing we have ever seen
Our Climate law states that we have to be completely Carbon-free by 2050 and the cost to the country estimated just a couple of years ago to achieve it will be £1 trillion.
Now as we know when we cost things in this country they always go way beyond the first figure given, so I fully expect by 2050 we will have spent £4 trillion on achieving Net Zero.
Who is paying for it? Taxpayers because the Gov has no money until they tax us or borrow the money and even then the taxpayer has to pay the interest.
There are a select few in this country who are going to make billions out of this Net Zero. One of them is Vince who has been cosying up to both the Tories and Labour. The reason is that his business gets grants from the government they give him X amount of millions to build solar and wind turbines, in turn like has done with Labour he gives back £1. 5 billion as a sweetener to keep the money rolling in.
