EU brick wall meets Lord Frost’s principles of sovereignty, freedom, & normality
United Kingdom is given short shrift by EU autocrats with “no renegotiation” message

It’s time to call out the EU to the World, for the monster it has become
What happens when sovereignty and freedom meet the EU brick wall?
A Facts4EU.Org weekend editorial
The UK must now engage world opinion and then escalate unilaterally
In their efforts in the last three days to solve the rapidly developing crisis which has been caused by the EU’s autocratic and authoritarian implementation of the Northern Ireland Protocol, Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Brexit Minister Lord Frost have had the door shut in their faces by the Brussels apparatchiks.
The golden opportunity for the UK to put things right
By its entirely predictable actions the EU has presented the UK with a golden opportunity.
The sheer, unremitting unreasonableness of the EU’s actions and behaviour, together with their latest point-blank rejection of the adaptation of the N.I. Protocol to deal with the real-world realities and threats to peace, mean that the UK Government can now move forward with world opinion on its side and adopt a plan to put things right.
If done in the right way, ratcheting up the pressure on the EU across the board, eventually the Commission might be overruled by the elected leaders of the EU’s 27 constituent countries. And if nothing else, the UK Government will have done the right thing and will be able to hold its head up high once again – at home as well as abroad.

It’s long past time the United Kingdom told the World what the EU really is
In the face of the complete rejection of the renegotiation of the Northern Ireland Protocol – despite this being foreseen in the Treaty which the EU signed – it is clear that the UK will have to take action in defence of peace, sovereignty, and freedom.
Prior to this, however, the UK must embark immediately on a major world public relations exercise, as we have been advocating for many years. To this point the EU’s propaganda machine has had things its own way, with the Remainers of the United Kingdom’s Foreign Office seemingly being ‘away from their desks’ in the capitals of the world when it comes to Brexit issues. In this vacuum it has been the EU narrative which has gained acceptance internationally.
In Washington in particular there is no understanding of what the EU really is and how a large part of Europe is being consumed by a cabal of homogenising, autocratic, and authoritarian ‘elites’. Not one person in the EU Commission holds their job thanks to any mandate from the public in elections. Not the EU Commission President, not the numerous Vice Presidents, nor any of the Commissioners. The same applies to the EU Council President and his staff.
It is now essential that Foreign Secretary Dominic Rabb instructs his own staff to mount an immediate ‘facts, hearts and minds’ campaign across the globe. This should include all diplomats as well as all the Overseas Aid staff who worked for the now-defunct DFID and who have now merged with the Foreign Office. We further propose that Liz Truss’s staff at the Department for International Trade be similarly instructed.
Bringing it home to our American cousins
In July last year (2020) the ‘new NAFTA’ trade agreement called the USMCA came into force between the US, Canada, and Mexico. Can Americans imagine new Texan laws being made by Mexicans, with no say by Texan or other US citizens, as a direct result of this deal?
Or that products from other US States would only be allowed into Texas if they were ‘exported’ there from within the USA? Supposing the Mexicans demanded reams of paperwork for every single pallet in a rig (truck) crossing the state line from any other US state? And that all this paperwork was to ensure that US goods entering Texas had to comply with Mexican product standards?
Can Americans imagine an entire rig being stopped because the driver was eating a donut, and that the rig was then impounded until the driver had filled out a hundred pages of Mexican forms to prove the half-eaten donut was safe to bring into Texas?
This is precisely what is now happening in a sovereign part of the United Kingdom: Northern Ireland. This is due entirely to the EU’s dogma and behaviour.
“If it ain’t right for Texans, it sure can’t be right for our British friends.”
