Thousands of reports in five years have helped to secure UK independence

Facts4EU.Org makes the front page

For five years the Brexit Facts4EU.Org team has been researching and publishing essential reports to inform the British and international audiences about all aspects of Brexit and the relationship of the United Kingdom to the European Union.

Unlike many organisations, we produce unique and original work, full of detailed information. ‘Opinion’ articles take very little time, which is why you see so many of them. Fact-based articles are much more time-consuming however, particularly when they need to be condensed and made into easy-to-read pieces which attract a wide audience.

We are sometimes asked why the mainstream media doesn’t report on more of the work we produce. The answer is of course that we do get national coverage, but some of the media has a pro-EU, anti-Brexit agenda. If the BBC ever reported on one of our studies, for example, we would be amazed.

The lead story in the Daily Express yesterday was our report

Sadly our financial resources are so limited that it’s rare for us to have time to organise press releases. Every once in a while, though, we send something to the media. Yesterday we did just that, and the result was that our report became the top story on the Daily Express website, written by Ciaran McGrath. According to our contacts there it got huge traction.

We would love to keep the team together, working for you

Unless there are think-tanks like ours, presenting clear and factual information on this range of topics, our society risks a further decline into the dreary group-think of the BBC. We believe there is a case for free spirits like ours to continue to present the public with challenging facts, confronting the orthodoxy and introducing some good old-fashioned common sense into the national debate.

Recently we conducted a poll, asking readers their views on topics of most interest in a post-Brexit Britain. We received almost 1,000 responses and the results are below.

Brexit Facts4EU.Org Summary

Results of readers’ poll from 6am, Fri 29 Jan – 6am, Sun 31 Jan, 2021

  • 9 out of 10 topic areas were of above average interest to you
  • Only ‘climate change’ was ranked by you as of less than average interest
  • The most popular issues include democracy, freedoms, the Union, sovereignty, territories, and defence

The poll is completely anonymous - no sign-up, name, or email address is required.
It takes only 60 seconds and your responses are confidential.

We have indexed over 2,000 of our reports

Over the past five years we have produced thousands of factual reports, all researched from official sources. To date we have indexed over 2,000 of these and they can be found in our library, which we call "the Brexit Index".

Readers can always access the last few weeks of our reports by clicking on our news summary page. If you would like to access an index of over 2,000 well-researched reports on all aspects of Brexit, the EU, and some other issues such as freedom of speech, hate crime laws, etc, then we can give you access to the Brexit Index.

With you, we can make an impact

Our only funding comes from you, our readers. After five years the Facts4EU.Org team’s financial resources are spent and we can’t continue to subsidise the operation.

Observations

Covid has hit many people hard

Unfortunately some people now think Brexit is "done" and not surprisingly the whole Covid thing has hit the level of donations we receive, which were already less than we needed to survive. We are most grateful to readers who have donated this year, but we badly need more readers to do the same. 10 readers donating £500 per month, or 50 readers donating £100 per month, or 1000 readers donating £5 per month - on top of the one-off donations and monthly donations we currently receive, this would just about keep us going.

Sadly, the challenges of seeing Brexit through are not the only concerns we face. Freedom of expression and the basic principles of democratic accountability are under attack as we have never seen before. We have far more to do in researching, publishing, campaigning and lobbying Parliament than we have in terms of the financial resources to fulfil these tasks. We rely 100% on public donations from readers like you. Unlike the Remain/Rejoin camp, we do not have foreign billionaires to subsidise our work.

If you believe in a fully-free, independent, and sovereign United Kingdom, please make a donation now. It’s quick, secure, and confidential, and you can use one of the links below or you can use our Donations page here. You will receive a personal, friendly ‘thank you’ from a member of our team within 24 hours. Thank you so much if you can help to keep us going in these critical months ahead.
