Do you ever get a feeling of déjà vu?

Almost ten years ago, on 04 June 2009, the British people voted in the EU Parliament elections.

In a few weeks’ time, the British people will be asked to vote in the EU Parliament elections again.

Here is the house of cards it’s all built upon

Ten years ago, the Lisbon Treaty was new. This treaty, which made the EU a legal entity, had been passed but wasn’t due to come into force for another seven months. It was being talked about, though, as you will see below.

Ten years ago, what did David Cameron say about the Lisbon Treaty?

In 2009, David Cameron was the leader of the Conservative Party. He would not become Prime Minister for another year, when he formed a coalition government with Nick Clegg’s LibDems in 2010.

Two days before the EU Parliament elections ten years ago, here is what David Cameron had to say about the Lisbon Treaty which now governs so much of our lives :-

Observations

Fast forward seven years

Seven years later, after he had been forced to offer a referendum on EU membership to the British people, ‘Call me Dave’ was silent on his previous comments about the Lisbon Treaty, as he tried to railroad a Remain vote past the electorate.

The Lisbon Treaty hasn’t changed. It remains just as appalling as David Cameron said it was ten years ago.

Sadly, it was David Cameron and the majority of the Parliamentary Conservative Party that changed.

Ten years on, with Mrs May still trying to ram her surrender treaty through Parliament, it’s a case of ‘plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose’ (the more things change, the more they stay the same).

How appropriate that tomorrow we will be publishing news of a major work by a Brexit MP called “We don’t believe you”.

In other words they have sold our country down the river, Z^The only ones to make hay out of it are the political class, everyone else apart from their enablers suffer.
Some of themselves will redeem their political life by making sure that leave means leave, but sadly no politician comes out of this 50 year old experiment smelling of sweet roses.
At each step in the process the voters have been lied to. At each step treaties have been signed that robs the nation state of its clothing to leave what can only be described as a socialist utopian nightmare. Something which I thought the world had lost forever with the fall of the S oviet Union! However why does Britain still have a Communist party?

We're all used to politicians twisting and turning the truth but we're certainly living in strange times. Some of our current politicians are way beyond the usual massaging the truth - they've tortured it to death. THIS is why the big parties are under threat.

It was the odious Gordon Brown who, like the thief that he was, sneaked off in the dead of night to countersign the Lisbon Treaty. It was the odious Gordon Brown and the Labour Party who made sure that a call for a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty was voted down. I was incandescent with rage at the time and wrote to Gordon Brown to tell him just that - I received no reply.
Fast forward to Article 50, (which is part of the Lisbon Treaty), and which was put forward by the phoney David Cameron and, after a suspiciously long delay, this dangerously vulnerable way of exiting the EU was invoked by Theresa May.
Again, it was Gerard Batten, the leader of the UNITED KINGDOM INDEPENDENCE PARTY, who saw through this trap immediately. Quote - "Article 50 is a trap! The UK should leave the EU by repealing the European Communities Act (1972)"
On 17 September 2016, he made a speech to the UKIP Annual Conference in Bournemouth on "how to achieve the speediest possible exit from the EU - on OUR terms and NOT the EU's. This means rejecting Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty and repealing the European Communities Act (1972)" He received a standing ovation.
However, our traitorous and treacherous politicians deliberately and cynically invoked Article 50 knowing that it would make it almost impossible to leave the EU and this has become demonstrably and painfully evident.
If Richard Tilbrook's (English Democrats) challenge to the Government on the illegality of the extension of Article 50 is successful, I live in hope that we may retrospectively challenge ALL of the pernicious Treaties signed without due process, and in particular, the signing away of our sovereignty, which is inalienable.

Nothing has changed in the capabilities and attitudes of the two main warring political factions.
An agreement on approving the Withdrawal Agreement and Customs Union in the near future is unlikely.
For many Labour MP's and other parties a 2nd referendum is what they want and passing the WA would remove it. It remains contentious in the Labour Party.
Corbyn in being non committal is trying to keep both pro and anti EU voter factions on side (Independent). He has Theresa May dangling and is in no rush to save her WA. In the continuing chaos Corbyn sees his chance to enter No.10

Sydney, if the electorate has the courage and the intelligence to vote for anyone BUT the three main parties, we could effect seismic change for the better. If they do not, they will deserve what they get.

Presumably, if Robin Tilbrook does win his case, the Government will then appeal the case to the Supreme Court. We will then witness the utterly absurd spectacle of the Government explicitly appealing to stay in the EU, despite the electorate voting to leave, and the Government promising to honour that vote. It would literally be a legal challenge to democracy!!

I've been using the video Mr Cameron made ever since its release.
As a passionate Leave voter, I always have to point out to those who challenge me this well used 2009 video was when Mr Cameron was leader of the official opposition demanding a referendum.
In the 2010 general election I voted tory as I believed he was sincere. Mr Cameron became our Prime Minister, but was constrained by Mr [fantasy EU army] Clegg in a coalition.
In 2013, after much pressure, we finally heard PM Cameron give his infamous 'Bloomberg speech' for an in/out referendum.
Prior to the 2015 general election we heard the usual 'vote for me' mantra. Only this time we did vote in a majority, so PM Cameron had to honour his referendum pledge.
It is clear to anyone his words of 2015/16 contradict his 2009 words. There was a clear referendum majority, and that should have been the end of it, but the establishment then turned on the people.
This is a democratic disgrace, and outrage. The world looks on in disbelief, and I give MPs a stern warning - WHY should any other country trust our Parliament when it goes against the UK majority?

I forgot what a creep Cameron is all Premiers since Major 1990 to 1997 have been terrible right to Theresa May a huge scale reform is needed in the UK from electing directly Our Premiers to replacing the unelected Head of State and House of Lords a Written Constitution and Federal System must come to fruition I don't get why My fellow Britons want a hugely over pampered Family to rule by birthright and dynastic bloodlines whilst the current Political class is ridden by 3rd rate Europhile parasites time for change
