THE FINAL DAYS OF NATIONAL HUMILIATION?

May re-presents three choices, only one of which is viable

In her statement to the British people last night, Mrs May asked three questions which gave her versions of the choices on the table for MPs. Here are those questions and here are our answers :-

BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY

Q: “Do they want to leave the EU with a deal which delivers on the result of the referendum – that takes back control of our money, borders and laws while protecting jobs and our national security?”

A: YES, but there is no such deal available. This is certainly not what your ‘Withdrawal Agreement’ delivers.

Q: “Do they want to leave without a deal?”

A: YES.

Q: “Or do they not want to leave at all, causing potentially irreparable damage to public trust – not just in this generation of politicians, but to our entire democratic process?”

A: NO. We already gave our decision on 23 June 2016 – to leave the EU.

Only one option is viable

In effect, Mrs May simply outlined what we have consistently said. There is only one real option and that is to leave the EU on 29 March 2019, as we have been promised over 100 times by the Prime Minister at the despatch box.

Mrs May’s surrender treaty is a constitutional abomination, which no self-respecting democratic politician representing his or her country could sign.

We urge all pro-Brexit MPs to hold the line.
We urge the Government to put all of its resources
into the final preparations for leaving the EU on 29 March.

A: Leave.
Q: Did the Government promise to honour the vote, and implement the People's decision?
A: Yes.
Q: Were you part of that government?
A: Yes.
Q: Does leaving the EU mean remaining in the EU?
A: Er.....we have to respect the 48% who voted Remain.
Q: Does that mean we are 48% in the EU and 52% out of the EU?
A: We all have to compromise. Nobody gets the perfect deal.
Q: Why not?
A: If you don't negotiate, you don't get anything.
Q: What the chuffing heck have you been doing in Brussels?
A: My routine is coffee, croissant and then Monsieur Tusk gives me my instructions.
Q: Mrs May, who do you represent?

There appears to be no shameful humilation that our PM will not take. A woman who appears to have never had an original thought of her own, with the snake Hammond, fully prepared to destroy our economy for his masters, whispering in one ear and her EU hamster & snivel serpents whispering in the other. Sometimes I think that she hasn't even read the WA, but has relied on the lies of her whisperers to keep her delusion that it is 'leaving'. The Emporer has no clothes. We all know it.
Like many, I have been watching our excuse of a Parliament intensely over the past three years and have been horrified at what I see. I really must give a round of applause to those brave few who have steadfastly stood for democracy & our country, particularly seeing the kindergarden levels of behaviour & intelligence of many in the House, notwithstanding the pure evil of the EU shills with vested interests. I hope that they survive the earthquake that is coming.
Yes, a trade deal would have been nice, but as the EU made clear that could not happen until we left. That has been obvious since the first EU communique after the referendum. Instead, we've had >1000 days 'negotiating' away our sovereignty and conflating it as a 'deal' to fool the people.
May has shown that she is willing to sacrifice her party & our country at the altar of the EU.
That a supposed 'Govt', with 8 days to go, has still not accepted the mandate that they were elected on, refuses to be positive about our reclaimed independence & still wishes to prolong uncertainty is a disgrace, and they think that they can then be trusted to work in our country's interests when we leave on WTO? I have a bridge to sell them.
The whole of Parliament has brought shame on our country & shown the people what a sham our 'democracy' is. I don't think that the 'bubble' has fully understood the visceral contempt with which they are held.

May has lost the plot. She is completely barking and deluded, and as J H-B said in her recent rant, May should be dragged away by the men in white coats.
Bercow was perfectly clear about the 3rd MV and the Erskine-May rules, so why does she think he will change his mind?
MPs could still put forward a motion to revoke A50, but I don't think there is enough time left for it to become law. It would time out before the 29th. Such a course of action would also be political suicide.
