A random thought for your consideration. Following a blog exchange I queried the accepted view that there was a desperate need for Rumanian workers to work on UK farms. Given that Rumania only joined the EU in 2007 I was sceptical that Agricultural output had increased significantly faster since 2007 than in previous times. Growth in Agriculture is below that in other sectors and more efficient farming processes should reduce the need for mass recruitment. Anyway I decided to look for workforce statistics but the only link I've found does actually show a FALL in the number employed in the UK farming (plus forestry and fishing) sector since 2000 (compared to 2017). It only compares a couple of years though and I just wondered if you had done any research on this issue and found more detailed sources.

Did she say she'd given it to Uncle Phil for safekeeping, and that it'd be allright with him?
Or that perhaps that nice man Mr Oily had taken it with him to Berlin?
Don't worry, children - it will turn up soon enough - the Easter Bunny promises.
