Relax, it’s only 200 days until we leave the EU – yet again

Today marks 200 days until we next “leave the the European Union” – something voted for by more people than for anything else in the history of the United Kingdom.

That’s right, only another 200 days of our national life wasted because of the obduracy of one woman, the incompetence and deliberate acts of the Government and Civil Service, and the sheer nastiness of the EU in imposing intolerable demands simply to exit its evil empire.

Excellent thank you! If anything the past 3 years has made me and my friends who live still in the UK more determined! What has happened to our great country. So much has changed for the worse. It is almost as if Britain is no longer a free country.
"Dawkins Welcomes Brexit Delay, More Time for Older Leave Voters to ‘Drop Off Their Perch" with friends like this jerk in our midst it is hardly surprising that 'normal' people distance themselves from such pure evil crap. I mean I cannot stand jerks like this but to wish all people dead who didn't vote for your uninformed preference! That shows you how far Great Britain has sunk thatnks to a weak political class enthralled with everything un-patriotic.

Ms May is so transparent in her determination to keep Britain tied to the EU indefinitely. No longer does she even attempt to hide her contempt for the majority British Vote to Leave. She and her anti-Brexit advisors, including Civil Servants, are going to lose this battle on several fronts, and soon. In addition, the Conservative Party has been killed off by Theresa May, and those in the Party who've been supporting her defiance of our majority Vote to Leave . The treachery from both Tory and Labour stretches way back since PM Ted Heath lied about the Common Market being a trading partnership only. We will remember. We must never allow a take-over of our Democracy again. We WILL be leaving the rotten EU, and what fun then to see a clean sweep of Parliament and the Civil Service.

There has been a huge amount of nastiness from the Remainers, which has really shocked me! I thought our country was better than that, but sadly I was wrong. I’ve always been proud of England, Great Britain, the United Kingdom of 4 great countries, but this mess has made me weep. On day plus 1 of Referendum Day back in 2016 I also wept as I could foresee Civil War ahead and sadly I wasn’t wrong then. 🇬🇧

Completely agree, Jax. We have to preserve the hope that not all Remainers will carry on keeping their eyes and ears closed to facts and to what is really happening to our great country. In my experience Remainers only ever come up with vague and empty statements or insults and never actually with sensible context to back their argument. That must be a bad place to be for them. :)

Jax March - this mess is the direct result of Theresa May not delivering a mandated commitment to the British people to LEAVE the EU and treating the result of a democratic vote with contempt. She has been aided and abetted by an army of traitorous, visceral Remainers who ALSO have no respect for Democracy.
They should be careful what they wish for. If this vote is overturned, we will descend into the realms of a Banana Republic and the country will become ungovernable, riven with civil unrest and anarchy. After all, if our elected representatives can break all the rules, why shouldn't the people?
