 ONE MORE CHRISTMAS CARD
TO ADD TO YOUR LIST....
The Brexit Facts4EU.Org Christmas campaign
At this time of goodwill to all, the team at Brexit Facts4EU.Org thought you might like to add one more card to your list.
© Facts4EU.Org 2018
You can download the PDF here, for easy printing.
And you can contact us if you would like a version in Christmas card format, or if you would like an MS Word version in order to amend the wording.
HUMOROUS AND EFFECTIVE
This Christmas message to MPs has a real purpose. It tells your MP in simple terms to respect the democratic decision of the majority of the British people, as expressed in the 2016 Referendum.
If you laughed when you saw it, please make that laughter count. Print it off and send it to your Remainer MP today. The House of Commons is full of Remainer MPs trying to thwart Brexit completely.
We need to hit them hard, and what better way than with a bit of humour?
USE IT TODAY
Find your MP here and send your Christmas card to [his/her name], House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.
You will also find lots of other ways of getting your message through to your MP, in that part of our ‘Brexit Battle Pack’.
OBSERVATIONS
We fully understand that the card won't be to everyone's taste. Nevertheless we hope that readers understand that we must represent a range of views. We receive many emails asking why we are not much harder hitting. Some others urge restraint.
We hope we achieve something of a balance.
One thing we are sure about, though. The 'softly-softly' approach adopted by some pro-Brexit MPs simply hasn't worked in the last two and a half years. If we annoy some people, so be it. Remainers are now adopting extreme tactics in Parliament.
We can't give up without knowing we tried everything.

A HOSTILE POWER?

EU ISSUES PROPOSALS FOR EXIT ON WTO TERMS
Yesterday in Brussels the unelected EU Commission issued a further set of legal proposals in the event of the UK leaving the EU on WTO terms.
In effect, these are part of the ‘managed WTO exit’ scenario.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
Yesterday the EU Commission proposed legislative arrangements for the following:
  • Travel to EU – no visas for visits of less than 90 days
  • Foreign citizens – existing rights maintained
  • Financial services – only those which would otherwise collapse the EU’s economy to be maintained
  • Air transport – flights to/from UK and EU to continue
  • Air transport – long flights requiring stopovers in EU refused permission to land
  • Road haulage – existing licences to be extended for 9 months
  • Customs – checks on all goods to be implemented according to EU codes
  • EU Climate Change policy – yawn
  • Northern Ireland – existing PEACE programme to be maintained
  • Northern Ireland – seems they won’t be putting in a hard border
  • General - Member states must not talk to UK to make exit smooth for all sectors and interests
The above is only a brief synopsis in the limited time we had available. Readers can view the EU Commission’s main document in full here.
There is barely enough time now for the EU to get these legislative proposals through its ratification process, but because all measures are designed to protect the EU, and are not designed for harmonious relations with a neighbour, it is certain the EU Parliament will expedite them.
The good news is that the EU are effectively starting to make 'side agreements' for the event of an exit on WTO terms - a 'managed exit'. Now the Government and Civil Service need to extend these to cover all sensible arrangements which would in normal circumstances be made by allies.
GOOD NEIGHBOURS?
Here is Article 8 of the Lisbon Treaty:
  1. The Union shall develop a special relationship with neighbouring countries, aiming to establish an area of prosperity and good neighbourliness, founded on the values of the Union and characterised by close and peaceful relations based on cooperation.
  2. For the purposes of paragraph 1, the Union may conclude specific agreements with the countries concerned. These agreements may contain reciprocal rights and obligations as well as the possibility of undertaking activities jointly. Their implementation shall be the subject of periodic consultation.
OBSERVATIONS
The fanatical ideologues of the unelected EU Commission are determined to make any exit by the UK – under their absurd Withdrawal Agreement with Mrs May or by any other method – as difficult as possible.
We state here that it is our opinion that the Commission will act like a hostile power. This is why we argued from the beginning that the UK government should have assumed the EU would never reach a sensible deal. We argued the British Government should have immediately planned accordingly.
THE OVERVIEW
As so often, we ask readers to step back for a moment. If the EU were not acting malevolently, why would it not be seeking to mitigate and manage all aspects of the UK’s withdrawal from its Union in as cooperative way as possible?
Why would it not recognise that on departure all UK laws comply with EU laws? Why would it not recognise that all UK products, services, and competences are fully compliant?
Why, for example, would it so petty as to refuse to recognise pet passports on the UK’s exit?
REMAINER MPs
Finally we must ask why Remainer MPs seem so in love with the EU that they refuse to see the hostility and the totalitarian mentality of this organisation?
Is this really a club they want to be part of?

Message: We all know that the EU is 'assisting' in the attempted subversion of our country's democracy. They even state it (in EU terms of course) in their contingency proclamation. "... The Withdrawal Agreement will have to be ratified by the United Kingdom, in accordance with its own constitutional requirements. The ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement by both parties continues to be the objective and priority of the Commission."
Just how are they going to ensure ratification of May's surrender Treaty in the UK? Just listen to the cockroaches that infest our Government and Parliament.
The release of their contingency plan, which also states that there should be no 'good' impacts for Britain shows it to be the bullying coward that 'it' is that has no intention of being a 'good neighbour'. It was also interesting to see that they described Gibraltar as a 'European Territory' to which none of the contingency will appear to apply (guessed as I haven't cross-referenced to their TFEU doc mentioned), as well as instructing 'full' application of EU regs at borders. Like all bullies or abusive partners, we must stand strong against the inevitable tsunami of project hysteria that will come our way in these final 100 days. We will do just fine and will, once again, be in control of those who purport to run our country in OUR interests.

Message: I do not think the EU's position on air travel is legal. An EU Regulation does not replace an ICAO bilateral Air Service Agreement. The UK ceases to be a Community member and therefore part of the European Common Aviation Area, in which the Commission negotiates bi-lateral Air Service Agreements on behalf of the member States. The Air Service Agreements between the UK and EU member States cease to be valid.
The United States have ratified a new bilateral ASA 'open skies' agreement with the UK. The United Kingdom must insist that the Commission concludes new ICAO ASA's before 1st April 2019, if they wish to continue to fly into and through our airspace. A new ASA will be permanent!!
'The contracting States recognize that every State has complete and exclusive sovereignty over the airspace above its territory', while Article 6 on scheduled air services states that, 'No scheduled international air service may be operated over or into the territory of a contracting State, except with the special permission or other authorization of that State, and in accordance with the terms of such permission or authorization'.
International Air Services Transit Agreement only applies to Countries with valid current bilateral ICAO ASA's. Lawyers for Britain should be consulted.

 SINGLE MARKET FACTS,
NOT FICTION
HOW THE FIGURES SIMPLY DON’T STACK UP
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG OPEN LETTER TO REMAINER MPs
Dear Remainer MP,
May we beg your indulgence for a couple of minutes and give you some numbers? We’ll stick to the main ones you might want to know and we’ll try not to bore you.
As ever, our information comes from official sources. In this case: HMRC, ONS, EU Commission. Here is a summary of the figures:
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
  • UK’s exports to the EU fell from 55% in 1999 to 43% in 2016
  • It’s worse: ONS say approx 50% of goods to Holland are for onward shipment to non-EU countries
  • They believe the EU’s share of UK goods exports is approximately 4% less than stated
  • Average UK growth rates have fallen since the start of the Single Market, not risen
  • 92.6% of UK GDP has nothing to do with selling goods to the EU
  • Over 160 countries trade successfully with the EU, without being members
Chart © Facts4EU.Org 2018
HOW MUCH OF OUR ECONOMY DEPENDS ON TRADING WITH THE EU?
Dear Remainer MP, you seem to think that half the British economy trades with the EU. In fact only 7.4% of UK GDP comes from selling goods to the EU. And that's the EU Commission's figure, so it's almost certainly less.
92.6% of UK GDP has nothing to do with selling goods to the EU
[Source: EU Commission]
Strangely, there are no accurate and complete figures for the number of UK businesses selling to the EU's Single Market. We know from HMRC that 145,000 VAT registered SMEs export solely to the EU, but that's just 5.4% of the total of 2.67 million VAT registered businesses in the UK. (Source: HMRC)
BUT... BUT... THE SINGLE MARKET IS ESSENTIAL FOR GROWTH !
Er... No. Sorry. The facts tell the opposite story.
If membership of the Single Market is essential and if it’s such a great thing for jobs and the economy, then it should be possible to see increased growth after it started, shouldn't it? After all, this is what the EU promised and still claims today.
Many factors affect economic growth of course, but as Single Market membership is apparently so vital for the UK, then surely there will have been a noticeable positive effect when measured over a suitably long period, like 50 years?
So let's look at the last 50 years.
50 YEARS OF GROWTH - BEFORE AND AFTER THE SINGLE MARKET
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
UK AVERAGE GROWTH BEFORE AND AFTER THE SINGLE MARKET
  • 25 years BEFORE Single Market started: 2.4% average annual growth
  • 25 years AFTER Single Market started: 2.2% average annual growth
Chart © Facts4EU.Org 2018
The UK’s average annual growth rate has fallen since the start of the Single Market, not risen.
SOME MORE QUICK & SIMPLE FACTS ABOUT THE SINGLE MARKET
  • The UK will still trade with EU countries after leaving the EU – deal or no deal
  • Over 160 countries trade with the EU - without membership of the Single Market
  • After 25 years, it still doesn’t work – ‘unfinished and stalled’ [Major OECD report, 2016]
  • It’s in 31,500 EU legal documents, so it’s an integral part of EU membership [Eur-Lex database]
  • The Single Market comes with unlimited immigration and subjection to EU laws.
OBSERVATIONS
We hope the above gives Remainer MPs some basic information in order to put everything into context.
The above data is incontrovertible. The importance of the Single Market to the UK has been plummeting. Taking into account the ‘Rotterdam effect” (of onward shipment to the rest of the world), the EU’s share of UK exports is now less than 40% of the total - and it's been falling over many years.
Just looking at the numbers on their own we are hard pushed to see why anyone should be so desperate to stay in the Single Market, given all the loss of freedoms it entails.
Staying in the Single Market simply isn’t Brexit in any way. It is an integral part of EU membership.
Conversely, over 160 countries around the world trade successfully with the EU, without being members of the Single Market, and the total loss of sovereignty which this entails.
  • The UK will still trade with EU countries after leaving the EU on WTO terms
  • In many ways the Single Market is the EU: bureaucratic, dictatorial, and dysfunctional
  • It determines what we produce, how we work, and what we can buy - at elevated prices
  • The Single Market isn’t a market, it’s about politics, rules, and centralised power
  • The British people voted to leave this behind, to be independent, and to go global
  • To say anything else is a deliberate attempt to deceive and manipulate

Between 1968 and 1992 GDP per Capita grew 72% (2.2% pa); Between 1993 and 2017 it grew 51% (1.7% pa). I also voted remain and found this website almost accidentally in the process of researching analyses backing my 'beliefs' as you put it.
In my case it was more than that - just for the record. Instead of fulfilling my original aim, my thinking has become somewhat challenged. This can possibly partly be blamed on the fact that I was not able to locate any remainer website providing so much 'valid info'. Can you Jay, please point me to your own or others' research publications backing remain? I'm only interested in supported analysis like you find here rather than wasting my time on big statements like 'some figures are a few % out' - as I'm sure you'd understand. Thank you.

Message: Reading this I'm.interested in where.you sourve your information.
I'm a remainer, though as a scientist I have always been open to changing my view when confronted with facts that challenge my beliefs. Problem being, honestly, this page simply looks like low budget propaganda with very few links to actual primary sources. Those I've been able to locate are more or less correct (some figures are a few % out), but do indeed exclude other pieces of valid info. Ie - yes, our 1996-2016 % a trade decrease, but monetary value increases drastically, and as the rest of the world develops this is the exact kind of trend you would expect to see.
Anyway, I have no intent to publish an article, but would definitely like to see the primary sources you have used.
Reply: Hi Jay. The figures are the figures. We understand that as a Remainer you don't like them, but we don't pluck them out of thin air. They're the result of many hours of research for each article. We use official data - most often from the EU (Eurostat, the Commission, EU Parliament, etc) but also from the ONS, OBR, HMRC, etc. We state the sources at the bottom of each article. We provide precise links to journalists on request.
You say that our figures "are more or less correct (some figures are a few % out)". Thanks for this condescension, but no. The figures are what they are. (Naturally we don't claim infallibility - we're human and are doing this stuff while you're fast asleep.) Interestingly you don't cite details or a source for this claim.
You say something vague about a 'trade decrease' with the EU and claim this is because of developing countries. Do you consider the USA to be a developing country? Our exports to the US have increased significantly and it's our No.1 export destination. Not Germany or France, but the good ole US of A.
This is our only response - we can't engage in individual dialogues so we hope this will suffice.

ABOUT BREXIT
A MUSICAL INTERLUDE, FROM BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG
Readers often tell us they like the fact that they never know what to expect from us each day.
Well, this one falls into the ‘unexpected’ category!
Below is a wonderful video of an original jig, composed by Willie Drennan, and performed by him and some friends, on behalf of Artists for Brexit.
It was all done for the brave fishermen of Fishing for Leave. These fishermen don’t just talk the talk, or walk the walk, they sail the high seas. And their livelihoods are under threat as a direct result of our membership of the EU.
Credits: © Willie Drennan, composer and arranger; Dave McLean, band member and producer of the video; Aaron from Fishing for Leave who put it on Youtube.
NOTE: If for some reason your browser won't show you the video, click here.
OBSERVATIONS
Readers know we actively support the work of other Brexit organisations.
We backed Artists for Brexit from the first day they appeared on social media, encouraging others to follow them.
We’ve run many articles on Fishing for Leave, who have done sterling work over so many years in the fight for Brexit. Readers will remember us promoting their events at ports around the country – events which were barely mentioned by the mainstream media of course.
We just thought that in these challenging times for Brexit you might like something different.
No doubt metropolitan elitist Remainers will mock, but this is authentic and real. It's part of our culture. We love this shanty and hope you do too.

 THE SINGLE MARKET
ISN’T ABOUT TRADE,
IT’S ABOUT POLITICS
                              © EU Council
FACTS4EU.ORG LETTER TO REMAINER MPs
Dear Remainer MP,
Below are some important general points about the EU's 'Single Market', which we hope you will find interesting.
In an article tomorrow we will then show you how the UK's exports to the EU are falling, and we'll look at whether the UK's growth has actually benefited by being a member of the Single Market. (Spoiler alert: It hasn't.)
1. No other trading bloc in the world:
  • Demands political obedience
  • Demands open borders
  • Imposes its own social laws on members
  • Imposes its tax system on members
  • Imposes its own court
  • Has its own (failing) currency
  • Is forming its own army
  • Demands £10bn per year membership fee
The ‘Single Market’ should really be called the ‘Single Government’
2. Despite the hype, there's no visible effect on the UK’s growth rate in 25 years
  • 25 years is surely long enough to see the effects of this 'Single Market'?
  • In our article tomorrow we will show that UK growth was higher before the Single Market started
  • If the Single Market is so essential, why didn't UK's growth rate jump?
3. Single Market is based on goods, not services - only 21% of UK economy is goods
  • Previous Governments (including Messrs Osborne and Cameron) talked of the EU 'completing the Single Market' as being vital
  • What they mean is that it should have been extended to cover services long ago
  • Services make up almost 80% of UK economy
  • After 61 years, the EU still has no effective single market in services
  • Generally in the EU, when something's in the UK's interests, it doesn't get done
4. Single Market is intrinsically bound into EU Membership
  • The term 'Single Market' doesn't appear anywhere in the EU treaties
  • Instead it is referred to as the 'internal market'
  • It includes the 4 freedoms - goods, services, capital and people - and requires being subject to the European Court of Justice
  • The EU legal database contains 31,483 documents relating to the internal market - Treaties, International agreements, Legislation, EFTA documents, Consolidated legislation, Preparatory acts, EU case law, Directives, Judgements, Decisions etc
5. Over 160 countries trade happily with the EU, without joining the Single Market
  • When the UK leaves the EU, trade will carry on
  • If the EU continues to play politics with EU citizens' jobs, the UK will trade on WTO terms
  • Even falling back on WTO arrangements will still be better than the current system
  • No more mass immigration, no more EU-imposed laws, no more EU politics
  • Just good profitable trade, the way the rest of the world has done it for years

Message: Very good summary on the Single Market - I haven't seen anything like this on any other Brexit output. Makes it so clear that there's no sane explanation for attaching the kind of conditions to any trade deal that the EU enforces on us. All those matters should be considered as internal national affairs - something that is not to mess with for any external powers. It never ended well in history especially does not go down well with independent-minded nations!

Message: Remain MPs taking up space in the UK House of Commons who continue the doom and gloom have a duty to answer this article about their beloved 'single market'? MPs must explain the above factual information to their constituents and country at large.
BREXITEER MPs MUST CHALLENGE REMAIN MPs IN PARLIAMENT WITH THESE FACTS. Make remain MPs give an answer so the general public can see through their spin. I for one have had enough of the doom merchants as we do not elect and send MPs to Parliament for such information to be covered up.
WE EXPECT ALL UK MPs TO CONVEY THE FACTS (and they should stand down if they feel unable to do so).
I have always believed in the strengths of our country, and whatever issues we face will always be resolved.
 THE GREATEST THREAT
WE FACE IS TO
DEMOCRACY ITSELF
The Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP
IGNORANCE, ARROGANCE, AND THE ANTI-DEMOCRATS
We’ve had our ‘transition period’. It started two and a half years ago and has been squandered by the current government led by Theresa May.
In all that time, the best that she has been able to present is a deal far worse than EU membership. We have variously described this as “Remain With Chains” and “The Hokey-Cokey Brexit”.
Under her Withdrawal Agreement we would effectively remain under the EU yoke – but with no say over anything - and nothing has been agreed on how the UK and EU will trade with each other, despite the PM agreeing to a £39 billion pay-out.
This shambles has very little to do with Brexit and far more to do with government incompetence and the Establishment’s betrayal of the people’s vote of 2016.
Brexit itself cannot be blamed
when no-one in power was ever truly trying to deliver it.
To that of course we must add the appalling and bullying behaviour of the EU during the last two and a half years, starting with the famous “This will not be an amicable divorce” statement by EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on 24 June 2016. If that didn’t set the tone, nothing would.
THE LOSERS’ VOTE
Claims by Remoaners that “now we see how terrible Brexit is and we should vote again” are pure nonsense, as well as being anti-democratic.
Brexit is still a golden opportunity for the United Kingdom to regain its sovereignty – its control over its own affairs. This is what people voted for. It is not even remotely being delivered, nor even being worked upon.
The suggestion that the British people should be forced to go through another divisive and crippling referendum, simply because our political and administrative class have proved themselves to be incompetent and duplicitous beyond all measure, is both abhorrent and wholly anti-democratic.
DECISION MADE, INSTRUCTION GIVEN
The people gave an instruction to Parliament. It was made clear many times before the Referendum that this is how the government would treat the outcome of the vote. No-one on the Remain side demurred, in fact they endorsed it.
So, decision made, instruction given.
The issue is not, therefore, whether the question be put to the people again. Instead the issue is that the decision of the people has not been implemented by the government and Parliament.
The answer from Remoaners is that “Brexit has proved to be far more complicated than we were told.”
In fact Brexit at its core is very simple. We leave all aspects of the bureaucratic and financial quagmire that is the EU. This means that we leave all bodies, agencies, legal frameworks and jurisdictions, customs arrangements, and financial mechanisms - and we leave the EU Council.
The detail of all that was a job for Admin and Legal (the Civil Service). They simply had to be told to do it – and they were not so instructed.
IT SEEMS MANY MPs ARE IDIOTS
The team at Brexit Facts4EU.Org have listened to hundreds of hours of debates in Parliament and have read thousands of pages of Hansard, the official written record of proceedings.
Based on this research our conclusion is that most MPs are ignorant when it comes to the EU. Naturally there is a minority which is much better informed, but these MPs ARE in a minority.
The idea that these people should decide on Brexit is – to us – scary. We have many readers who are clearly head and shoulders above many MPs in terms of detailed knowledge and the ability to make a coherent argument.
IGNORANCE IS NOT THE WORST OF IT
Of course ignorance isn’t the only problem. In a sense we wish it were, because at least this could be solved by education.
No, the problem lies deeper. It doesn’t matter how many facts and figures are produced by us from official EU statistics, showing that statements by Remainer MPs are plain wrong, they simply don’t want to hear them.
The in-brained instincts of Remainer MPs are:
EU good, UK bad
(With apologies to George Orwell.)
OBSERVATIONS
Over the past three years we have gradually made our arguments more and more forcefully. These arguments have been based on facts which we have provided by the thousand.
It really is time now to take the gloves off.
If MPs are ideologically hidebound from accepting a democratic decision, and from voting to implement the logical aspects of it, then they are anti-democrats and should be treated as such.
We are now discussing with other pro-Brexit groups the various courses of action which must be taken to persuade all MPs to respect the great tradition of democracy in our country.
Brexit Facts4EU.Org already has significant campaigns under way, which are being used by ordinary people in their thousands. Some Brexit groups have backed these, as we have backed them in their work. We backed all pro-Brexit groups, and promoted the work of the most prominent ones too. Sadly some of these prominent groups have ignored our work, preferring their own agendas with which we profoundly disagree.
Our message to the public is very clear. MPs must be told to respect and implement in full the decision to leave, or they will lose their jobs.
Perhaps it’s now time to take a leaf out of Momentum’s book, and launch local campaigns to deselect the worst anti-democratic MPs at constituency level?
Finally we have a question for you.
When Mrs May says “there is no alternative plan”, can you point to a single summary of such an alternative plan produced by a coordinated group of pro-Brexit MPs?
We’re not talking about long and impenetrable documents, we’re talking about a 1-page summary which ordinary people will read. A summary which sets out in broad terms how we should now leave the EU.
If you can’t point to one, would you like one?

This is why we are in such a mess after 2.5 years of a waste of time. That I thought was our 'implementation period' but no, it has been used to call leavers in the case of Hammonsd "extremists" - I am sorry but remoanians like him are the extremists and look at the mess and constitution crisis these idiots have created.  THE EU HAS
NO MINIMUM WAGE
WORKERS’ & WOMEN'S RIGHTS COME FROM UK, NOT EU
FACTS4EU.ORG LETTER TO REMAINER MPs
Dear Remainer MP,
One of the very many myths about the EU is that it has been responsible for the minimum statutory workers' rights enjoyed in the UK today. This is often repeated, particularly by Labour and LibDem pro-Remain politicians.
But what's the truth about this? We will start by looking at possibly the most obvious and basic statutory workers' right: that of a minimum wage.
THERE IS NO EU STATUTORY REQUIREMENT TO SET A MINIMUM WAGE
Within EU treaties, laws, directives, regulations and other instruments, there is no requirement for a member state to have a minimum wage. 22 of the 28 countries do have one, but this is not currently an EU obligation.
6 member states have no minimum wage at all: Denmark, Italy, Cyprus, Austria, Finland and Sweden.
© Facts4EU.Org 2018
In January 2018, Bulgaria had the lowest gross minimum monthly wage (£229) across the EU. 9 Member States, all also located in the east of the EU, followed with minimum wages between €400 and around €500 per month: Lithuania (£351), Romania (£358), Latvia (£377), Hungary (£390), Croatia (£405), the Czech Republic (£419), Slovakia (£421), Estonia (£439) and Poland (£441).
In 5 other Member States, located in the south of the EU, minimum wages ranged between £500 and £800 per month: Portugal (£594), Greece (£600), Malta (£656), Slovenia (£739) and Spain (£754). For the purposes of this article we have converted at the rate of £1 = €1.14 euros which was the average rate when these facts were published.
Across the 22 Member States concerned, the highest minimum wage in the EU is almost 8 times higher than the lowest. Even after adjusting for the cost of living in each country, the highest minimum wage is almost 3 times higher than the lowest. [Source: EU Commission, 2018]
BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER WORKERS' RIGHTS THAT COME FROM THE EU?
You will have heard pro-Remain MPs regularly telling you that it's the EU that is responsible for all the workers' rights we enjoy in the UK today. Once again we will give you facts instead of rhetoric.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
WORKERS' AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS DO NOT COME FROM THE EU
1. EU healthcare rights are way below UK standards
  • EU doesn’t generally have completely free healthcare – most people pay for top-up private insurance
  • In France it costs £26 just for 5 minutes with your GP, paid at the time
  • In many countries you pay, and get only partially reimbursed later
  • With the UK’s NHS, treatment is free at the point of delivery
2. EU workers’ rights laws are lower than UK’s
  • UK statutory paid holiday entitlement is 28 days, in EU only 20 days
  • National Minimum Wage Act 1998 – there's no minimum wage in the EU
  • Maternity leave – UK: 52 weeks, EU: 14 weeks
  • Under EU laws, the British people's rights would decrease
3. UK established workers’ rights long before EU
  • “Protection against sex, race and disability discrimination in the UK pre-dated EU law” (from TUC report)
  • Women’s rights: Equal Pay Act, Abortion Act and Divorce Reform Act were all passed before UK even joined EU
  • Sex Discrimination Act, Domestic Violence Act, Employment Protection Act – no EU involvement
  • EU’s Posted Workers Directive means EU workers can be employed in UK for fraction of the cost of UK workers
4. Finally, workers’ rights are only relevant if you have work
  • In the Eurozone, austerity has taken the jobs of millions of workers
  • You’re twice as likely to be out of work in the Eurozone
  • An entire young generation across southern Europe has been devastated by 30-50% unemployment for years
OBSERVATIONS
In all the workers' and women's rights we've highlighted above, the UK's statutory arrangements are better than those which would be applicable under EU law.
REMAINER MISINFORMATION
Each day in Parliament, swathes of pro-Remain MPs stand up and trot out the mantra that the British people had been lied to during the Referendum campaign.
Indeed the British public was lied to on a systematic and grand scale, but the vast majority of the lies came from the Remain campaign. Their claims on workers' and women's rights which we have debunked above are just one small example of this.

Message: Remainer misinformation is an issue all Brexiteer Members of Parliament need to counter every day, whether in Parliament, on their websites, or in the streets talking with ordinary people. ALL leave groups need to up their game, and 17.4m Leave voters should not allow the democratic majority Leave vote to be ignored by condescending MPs.
Brexit Facts4EU.org is the hub for 100% well researched pro-Brexit facts from official sources, and is endorsed by at least thirteen other leave organisations.
I have donated a further £50.00 to Facts4EU as an early Xmas present to help them bring us these daily facts which remainers are unable to challenge. Keep up the good work team, because the likes of the BBC, Sky, and MSM don't bring us facts we see here. News channels must present FACTS and leave the spin behind - shouldn't they?

Message: The remoaner MPs who sit in Parliament whining that we need to be in the EU because it's "the EU that protects peoples' rights" seem to have difficulty in joining the dots. They were elected to do just that. It's their job for which they are paid handsomely and, unless they have other income from the private sector, do not pay taxes. What they are saying is that they are incapable of performing the job that they wanted and were elected to do. They do not want the responsibility. They should be forced to stand down. They are a disgrace to democracy.

 WHAT DO WE DO
ABOUT THIS MESS?
What are the two fundamental priorities right now?
We are where we are, like it or not. The whole question of whether the democratic decision of the majority of the British people will be delivered on 29 March hangs in the balance.
At times like these it’s often a good idea to stand back, review, and establish some immediate priorities. Here we focus on just two of these.
  1. Tackling anti-democratic MPs – the majority in the Commons
  2. Making the case for a managed exit on WTO terms
1. ANTI- DEMOCRATIC MPs
It is a simple fact that the majority of MPs sitting in Westminster are Remainers. They wish to stop Brexit. They dress this up in a variety of ways, even using the absurd argument that democracy is best served by ignoring a democratic vote and having another one, because they didn’t like the verdict the first time.
The irony would be delicious, if this way of thinking weren’t so tragic for the future of democracy in our country.
It really doesn’t matter what these MPs think. Most of them are clueless about the EU and Brexit anyway, in our experience. They have a blind faith and aren’t interested in facts. In this regard they resemble the monstrous ideologues populating Brussels.
Given the fixed mindsets of these MPs, Brexit Facts4EU.Org has been pursuing a strategy of appealing to one of their basest instincts – survival.
SURVIVAL OF THE UNFITTEST
We have run numerous campaigns in the last six months, urging people to write to their MPs in the old-fashioned way, using letters, not emails. We also urged people to go to their surgeries, and to call their constituency offices and their offices in Westminster. We provided all the tools to do this in our ‘Brexit Battle Pack’.
We want these unfit, anti-democratic MPs to feel the weight of opinion by the kilogram, delivered to their offices. We want them to face the people whose votes they are ignoring. We want their office phone systems clogged by calls telling them to respect the vote.
“BUT MY MP HAS A HUGE MAJORITY”
It doesn’t matter. Even huge majorities have been overturned in the past. In any case if these MPs started receiving large numbers of contacts it will make them pause for thought. Do nothing and all they’ll receive will be letters from Remoaners. They’ll continue to believe they are right and the prospects for Brexit will go from bad to worse.
If hundreds of thousands of ordinary people took up this challenge, and threatened their MPs with losing their votes forever, we believe that for many MPs the survival instinct might kick in.
Let’s face it, they’ve had years to educate themselves about the EU and Brexit, and most of them are still clueless. They simply don’t want to listen and learn.
Fine. Then we need to use direct action. Threaten their jobs in sufficient numbers and they’ll start listening. Very few MPs want to stand down at the next election. Quite the reverse.
“BUT THE SECOND-PLACE CANDIDATE IS ALSO A REMAINER”
It doesn’t matter.
Tell your MP that as he or she’s the one in power you will vote for the other person at the next election, on the grounds that it doesn’t matter which Remainer you have as an MP. Then you will be exerting your influence on the one person who will potentially be voting against Brexit in Parliament.
OUR CAMPAIGNS ARE BEING USED WIDELY
We would like to thank all those who have emailed us or contacted us on Twitter. Large numbers have already used one of our templates for letters and flyers, or have written their own letters and sent copies to us.
It has also been wonderful to hear from all those who have been out, delivering our flyers to homes in their areas or manning market stalls.
In the piece below we once again publish our latest letter / flyer. It's the most popular Brexit flyer on the Internet.
2. SPREADING THE MESSAGE : “WTO – THE WAY TO GO”
At the same time as hitting MPs and threatening their jobs, it’s important to spread the positive message about a managed exit on WTO terms.
Pro-Brexit MPs we speak to have told us they’re finding it very difficult to get airtime to inform the public about this form of managed exit. The mainstream media are… well, readers know what most of them are.
You can help our pro-Brexit MPs. Please do whatever you can to spread the word online. Last week we produced a simple 1-page summary accessible here, which is in PDF form and could be linked to in chats and forums, and on social media platforms.
OBSERVATIONS
There’s no point being defeatist. Let’s be confident and let’s face the challenges.
There are serious problems with the state of democracy and free speech in our country. However we still have the means at our disposal to make a difference – provided enough people take up the challenge.
Will you? Today?
If you can't, could you at least make a quick donation to keep us in the fight? We are currently looking at ways to ration our work down to match the level of funding we receive from the public. This would result in a big drop in our output, which is the last thing we want to do at this critical time.

 BE A BREXIT POSTIE!
DEFEATING THE PM'S “REMAIN, WITH CHAINS”
AND RESTORING BRITISH DEMOCRACY
In the evenings and at weekends, large numbers of people have been distributing our ‘Brexit Flyer’.
And tens of thousands of people have been receiving electronic copies so that they can print out as many as they can and go out delivering door-to-door today.
EVERYONE LOVES IT!
Described by a national officer of one of the political parties as “the best I have seen”, Facts4EU.Org’s ‘Brexit Flyer’ is designed to put pressure on MPs where it hurts them most - in their majorities!
This flyer promotes an exit on WTO terms – now the only truly viable route to a clean Brexit - and gives voters the chance to sign it and post it to their MPs today. The underlying message for voters to send to their MPs is :-
“Respect my vote, or lose it forever”
BACKING FOR OUR ‘BREXIT FLYER’ IS GROWING
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
Here are just some of the organisations who are now backing our flyer:-
  • Alliance of British Entrepreneurs
  • Brexit Alliance (nine pro-Brexit groups including Get Britain Out, Better Off Out, The Freedom Association, the Bow Group, the Campaign for Conservative Democracy)
  • City for Britain
  • Fishing for Leave
  • Scots for Leave
  • The Time Party
  • UKIP
  • Veterans for Britain
  • You can download the pdf here
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Please gird your loins once again, we need you to hit the streets! If you could print off as many of these flyers as possible and deliver them locally, it will make a real difference. Already thousands of people are doing this all across the country but we need the maximum possible effort this weekend.
Even if you only delivered to 10 houses, it all adds to the pressure on MPs to respect democracy, even if they don’t care about our sovereignty.
Will you “stand and deliver” today?

 EXCLUSIVE SHOCK REPORT
BREXIT SACRIFICED OVER FAKE ISSUE
N.I. GOODS CROSSING BORDER ARE JUST
0.15% OF EU’S TOTAL WORLDWIDE IMPORTS
The Killer Fact that Destroys the EU’s
and Mrs May’s Credibilities
The entire Brexit debate has been focused on one thing for months.
  • It dominates the Withdrawal Agreement
  • It dominates the debate in Parliament
  • It dominates the debate in Brussels
  • It makes Mrs May’s ‘Brexit’ into a non-Brexit
The issue is the movement of goods across a small, open border on the island of Ireland. On that issue has the Brexit negotiation been centred. From that one issue, the most significant of the many surrenders given by Mrs May and her Remainer civil servants have been based.
The EU says it is essential in order to “protect the integrity of the Single Market”.  REALLY?
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
The small issue of goods crossing a border
Brexit Facts4EU.Org has analysed the official trade figures. Guess how big the threat to the EU’s precious Single Market really is?
  • 0.15% of total goods entering EU Single Market would come from Northern Ireland
  • 1% are checked by Irish Revenue
  • So these checks amount to 0.0015% of goods entering Single Market
© Facts4EU.Org 2018
YES, THIS WHOLE NONSENSE HAS BEEN FABRICATED
AROUND JUST 0.15% OF THE EU’S TOTAL IMPORTS
This is the tiny proportion of all goods entering the EU which is represented by the goods crossing the border from Northern Ireland to the Republic.
  • This is what the EU pretends to be so worried about
  • This is the nonsense that Theresa May and her officials have fallen for
  • This is the excuse to keep the UK effectively in the EU with no way out
Is the EU’s Single Market really threatened by imports into its north-western tip, of such a tiny magnitude? The percentage is so small we couldn’t even show it in a bar chart – and it only barely shows in a pie chart.
THE REALITY OF BORDER CHECKS
The Irish Revenue service says it carries out routine checks on just 1% of goods crossing its border.
So we’re talking about 1% of border checks on 0.15% of the EU’s total imports, which equates to checks on 0.0015% of the EU’s imports.
This means that the entire madness of the Backstop, and a vast amount of the Withdrawal Agreement, and all the delays, debates, and attempts to keep the UK in the EU, are because of checks on 0.0015% of the total amount of goods entering the Single Market.
We really, really, really couldn’t make this up.
AND WHAT’S THE MADDEST THING OF ALL?
The solutions were all there two years ago. It’s a non-problem. Both HMRC and the Irish Revenue were working on the details of the implementation two years ago, before they were stopped from continuing.
OBSERVATIONS
We know we will receive emails from readers asking why they weren’t told about this. It’s a good question.
How is it possible that the entire Brexit process has been derailed by such an infinitessimally small issue?
For an answer to that, we suggest writing to The Prime Minister, 10 Downing Street, London SW1. Readers might also wish to write to President Jean-Claude Juncker – whom none of you elected – to ask him why the EU has made Brexit so difficult over something they could have waived, for the sake of peace on the island of Ireland.
There is of course a bigger answer to the fundamental question about the above facts.
WTO – THE WAY TO GO
Given the bullying behaviour by the EU in the last two and a half years, it’s time to get serious about a positive alternative.
A managed exit on 29 March is still perfectly possible. It involves trading on the same basis as most of the rest of the World. It involves a few side deals on matters such as aviation, citizens’ rights, and a range of technical measures. But it’s all possible.
We call this "WTO - The Way To Go" or simply "Go WTO".
Not only is it possible, we feel it would be a breath of fresh air for the British people. We would have certainty. Businesses could finally make their preparations and we would truly exit the EU – as the majority decided in the Referendum – on 29 March next year.
We would have taken back control.
Now wouldn’t that be marvellous?

Message: Surely the small percentage of imports to IR indicated is only of those imported from outside the EU and only 1% of those are inspected. It doesn't include those imports from the UK now, being in the EU so when the UK is out those imports to be inspected will rise, however small.
Reply: Not sure we fully understand, Otto. We're showing the imports into the Republic from Northern Ireland, as a percentage of the EU's total imports into the Single Market. That percentage is just 0.15%. In other words it's so small that the EU can't possibly view this as "a threat to the integrity of the Single Market". Certainly it's so small that it's completely ridiculous for this to have dominated Brexit negotiations as it has.

Message: Brilliant piece, thank you. It also highlights the overall bureaucratic, inefficient and very twisted thinking of the EU. They zoom into small components until they can't see the forest for the trees. In this case it's their aim to draw us in and try to fool us all. Other times they really don't have a clue or can't be bothered to care about the bigger picture.

Message: The Irish government and the EU have taken leave of their senses in playing political games. They have got carried away with their own sense of political importance in the EU. The border is not a practical problem, it is being used as a political sledgehammer to control our inept PM. Forcing a no deal Brexit does not bode well for the economy of the Irish Republic.

OF MAY’S MOUNTAIN AND BREXIT’S MOLEHILL
© EU Council
THE SHEER ABSURDITY OF MRS MAY
Mrs May was once again humiliated by the EU last night. And once again the media are discussing this today without providing any facts on how ridiculous the matter under question really is.
Yesterday saw the EU leaders at the Summit in Brussels actually hardening their position rather than giving her any form of compromise.
The wording of the leaked draft announcement which was written by the EU prior to Mrs May’s rushed ‘no confidence’ vote has now become worse in the final published version than it was before she got on the plane for Brussels yesterday.
Whilst there, she also made clear that her promise to Conservative MPs (in order to win her ‘no confidence’ vote) that she would not lead the party into the next general election, applied only to 2022. If another election is called before then, she intends to continue.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
WHAT MRS MAY DID NOT DISCUSS LAST NIGHT IN BRUSSELS
  • The serious issue of ongoing trade with the EU
  • Essential issues of sovereignty such as the unacceptable and continued supremacy of a foreign court over the United Kingdom’s courts
  • The EU’s ability to pass laws to be obeyed by the UK without any say by the UK Parliament
  • Nor any of the other very serious problems with her ‘Withdrawal Agreement’
She only discussed the ‘Backstop’.
This only relates to the island of Ireland.
And it’s a tiny issue in the overall scheme of things.
THIS IS ALL ABOUT A TINY AMOUNT OF GOODS CROSSING A BORDER
The Irish border is virtually a non-issue, as Brexit Facts4EU.Org has explained many times. Here we provide a summary of some simple facts, to put everything into context.

TINY PROPORTION OF N.I.'s SALES GO TO THE REPUBLIC
Only 4.9% of total Northern Ireland sales cross the border into the Republic of Ireland.
These include services, which are not relevant to the argument about the Backstop, which relates only to goods. Tomorrow we will provide one single devastating fact about the goods traffic, which we think will shock readers.

Nowhere does the Agreement specifically discuss the border at all.

IRELAND AND ITS ECONOMY
Ireland’s government has pursued an aggressive strategy to attract some of the world’s largest corporates to place their European headquarters there. Companies like Apple and Google rushed to take advantage of Ireland’s generosity and this is why they have paid virtually no tax for their activities in the EU. Things are so bad that Oxfam branded Ireland ‘one of the world’s worst tax havens’ in its 2017 report.
The presence of so many large corporations declaring their revenues in Ireland has the effect of artificially inflating the country’s economic performance.
The reality about Irish production and wealth generation is that it is far lower than the figures suggest. In 2010 the country almost went bankrupt, and would have done so without a hefty bailout from the EU and international bodies. During this period – only a few short years ago – it also benefited from huge bilateral assistance from the UK of circa £20 billion.
Ireland is still paying back the money it was lent as emergency assistance by the UK, to stop it from going bankrupt. Some readers may find it shocking that the Irish government seems to feel absolutely no appreciation for what the UK did, so recently, to save it.
OBSERVATIONS
For the Prime Minister not to grasp the essential point that the question of the Northern Ireland border is tiny for the UK, and even tinier for the EU, is deeply worrying.
We have shown in previous articles how this problem could have been solved relatively easily, using existing technology and existing EU procedures and laws.
For Theresa May to have allowed herself to become dragged by the EU into one little detail of Brexit that she loses the overall picture is, we suggest, grounds enough for all Conservative MPs to declare her unfit for office.
PLEASE NOTE: We strongly defend the Union, and Northern Ireland is an important part of the United Kingdom. The fact that this issue is relatively small economically does not mean that Northern Ireland should be sacrificed, as the PM is planning to do. It simply means that the EU and the Republic have led Theresa May in a merry dance over something which should have been agreed in the early stages of negotiations.
Tomorrow we will be publishing one killer fact to destroy this non-issue entirely, and which will demonstrate beyond doubt how the EU and the government of the Republic of Ireland have weaponised and deliberately scared the people of Northern Ireland wholly unnecessarily.

Dear Patrick F, As East Sussex Colony Representative and EU Fund Raising Delegate, I wish from the bottom of my heart and the heart of my bottom that I could give you more. But the EU already has my country, my waters with most of the fish in it, my sovereignty and freedom, and my wallet with my credit cards and cash in it. I was in fact hoping that in the name of general love and global all-togetherness they could throw something back to me this Xmas.
Please can you tell me if they'd consider this generosity or should I just send our munificent PM back to discuss this?
Merry Christmas and God bless you!

Message: EU CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Each year we send the EU billions of euros. It is not enough. Can you help?
Now, more than ever we need to help our friends in the EU. Instead of thinking of the 'have most' on your own doorstep; the homeless, the lonely, the vulnerable - think of those who have homes, well paid jobs and pensions.
It is time to give to those who don't deserve it.
Patrick F from the colony of Kent said:
"I saw a vagrant sleeping outside my local train station. He had nothing - so I gave him nothing. Instead, my euros went to a cause close to my heart: the EU. I can sleep easier now that I know I have helped technocrats and those who have something. I encourage my fellow colonists to give to the few, not the many."
Can you help Patrick F and many others like him and fight democracy, freedom and sovereignty this Christmas?
If you are still unsure whether to give, we will provide a free guide to the second referendum to make sure that this time, you make the right decision.
Happy Christmas!

Message: Well, firstly let me tell you how I enjoy reading your excellent factual texts and sending links to others to encourage them to get at some real facts.
I am ashamed of the 200 so-called conservatives, with all the evidence of failure under her premiership, and as Home Secretary, I was very surprised that not more than 117 had the guts and intelligence to know that the direction of travel of this government is to the lowest common denominator. Those two hundred make me sick.
As for Calamity May in Brussels last night what can one say! How many times do they have to reiterate that there will be no change to the so-called 'deal' for it to get through the thick skull.
NO deal was always the simplest and very best deal especially 2.5 years ago! The conservatives have almost thrown all the advantages away and if they do a 'deal' that ignores the wishes of the people, they deserve to never be elected for decades.

Message: Although the Northern Ireland question is naturally crucial to me I agree that still it has to be considered in relation to the overall. As we are the United Kingdom, the national interest if represented well would benefit all of us. This is not the case with May - she's busy causing huge damage to us all. If it was the launch of a spaceship it's like she's got obsessive and fixated with one component and forgets about all the other components vital to achieve success and avoid disaster. I still can't quite believe that the useless MPs let her stay in charge. Don't they realise that they are on the spaceship too?

Message: We are at war with the EU on two fronts: the battle for Brexit and the battle for democracy.
I make no apology for quoting a great Prime Minister:

Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all wise.
Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government - except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.

 WE HAVE CONFIDENCE...
...THAT FREEDOM, SOVEREIGNTY AND DEMOCRACY ARE AT THE HEART OF
WHAT IT IS TO BE BRITISH
(Even if many of our MPs don’t believe in this)
If just 42 Conservative MPs had voted the other way yesterday evening, Mrs May would have lost her vote of no confidence. The result would have been 159 to 158 to remove the PM.
42 men and women last night prevented the removal of what must be the worst Prime Minister in living memory.
Now we have a lame duck and incompetent Prime Minister, plotting to give up British sovereignty on an almost unimaginable scale, and delaying any Parliamentary vote until she will claim that her ‘deal’ is the only possibility, or Article 50 must be extended (only possible under the Treaty by unanimous agreement) or revoked.
IMAGINE.....
Imagine what might have happened had all the major Brexit groups been active since the Referendum? Imagine MPs being on the end of regular campaigns of letters, phone calls, surgery visits and emails.
Imagine every MP having been left in no doubt from 24 June 2016 onwards that the Referendum result had to be delivered in full –
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
Brexit

  • Returning full sovereignty to the United Kingdom as an independent, successful nation
  • Leaving the EU’s superstate mechanisms of the Single Market and Customs Union
  • Leaving the jurisdiction of a foreign court
  • Giving back the right to the UK Parliament to pass all laws
  • Regaining full control of our borders and our immigration policy
  • Ceasing to pay huge annual sums to the EU
  • Freeing our businesses from the shackles of EU regulations
  • Businesses able to compete more effectively in the World, including new trade deals
  • Regaining control of our coastal waters and the running of our farms
  • Protecting our armed forces from being sucked into EU military structures
  • Preventing our generals from having to salute the EU flag and anthem
  • Being once again a free, proud, powerful nation on the world stage

Note to the BBC, Sky News and ITN: This isn't "far-right" or "hard" Brexit. It's Brexit.
www.facts4eu.org
FURTHER IMAGINE.....
Imagine all MPs being reminded on a regular basis of what democracy means, and what sovereignty means.
To cap it all, imagine if a daily diet of hard facts about the sheer awfulness of EU membership had been published by large Brexit groups and promoted to the public and to MPs, on a continuing basis since 24 June 2016?
And imagine if the benefits of being a free and sovereign nation - ruling itself and trading globally just as the vast majority of countries do - had been demonstrated to MPs and the public on a regular basis in the last two and a half years?
OBSERVATIONS
Now, you may say we are dreamers. But we’re not the only ones.
Daily before the Referendum campaign and every day since, we have read your emails. From the north of Scotland to the south-west tip of Cornwall you have told us what you think. Generally these have not been meant for publication but as comments and suggestions. We appreciate these, as well as the many messages of support, and of course we value the donations that some of you have made to try to keep us going.
WHAT NEXT?
Today Theresa May will fly to Brussels where she will be given 10 minutes to address the EU27 Summit on the question of Brexit.
At some point soon, the EU is likely to issue a ‘form of words’ which will be dressed in an official-looking document purporting to give the ‘reassurances’ which the PM is asking for. Sometime thereafter she will attempt to persuade the House of Commons that these non-binding assurances are what they were seeking.
THE SIMPLE FACT
The simple fact is that the Prime Minister whom Conservative MPs saved last night will continue to delay and play politics with the democratic decision of the British people. She will continue to promote the worst international treaty anywhere in the world.
Meanwhile, we continue to say what we’ve always said. The EU was never going to negotiate a sensible exit agreement and trade deal. They’re fanatical ideologues. We said it from the beginning and – let’s face it – we weren’t wrong.
WTO - WAY TO GO
“WTO – Way To Go” is a great Brexit solution. If the government got behind it - and if all Brexit groups backed the kind of practical campaigns we’ve been running to persuade MPs to respect the vote and to promote the WTO route – then we can see a bright shining future.
As it is, without sufficient financial support and without the promotion of our work by the major Brexit organisations, (do ask them, not us), the individuals involved in Brexit Facts4EU.Org are having to consider their personal circumstances, quite understandably.
One further thing. During all this time, no donor has paid towards expensive London offices, nor expense accounts, nor secretaries, nor the cost of taxis rushing us to TV studios, nor the cost of self-promotional cards asking people to join and donate.
We’ve simply done the hard research on a daily basis and have tried to present this in an accessible manner to everyone.
Below in a short while we will be re-publishing a piece we researched some time ago, as the request of several readers. It was one of the most popular pieces we've produced in the last six months. Please come back and take a look.

Brexit is very important. However, the no confidence vote became about whether or not the Tory MPs wanted to support a PM who has no integrity, no honesty, and who gives loyalty to the EU, over the UK.

Realize too that the worst attacks on our sovereignty have all in the main come from so-called conservative party.
I believe after 29th March 2019, if the UK 'leaves' the eu by then Defence will no longer be sovereign to the UK. It will be headed by by Mogherini an 'ex-communist' whatever that is(!), a socialist at heart and we all should know that socialism is the ramp to Communism.
A dark future awaits the UK with the current political class and civil service doing their worst to destroy Brexit.

Message: If nothing else it is at least overt now, so maybe some more eyes will open.
200 MPs of the Govt's party openly support corruption and abuse of power. 200 MPs openly support contempt of Parliament - that still hasn't been remedied, contempt of democracy and contempt of the people. Senior Cabinet thugs (for, like May and their EU masters, they only know how to 'lead' through fear), and opposition parties, openly call those that voted to leave and those MPs that want to uphold the democratic vote, 'extremists'. It will not be forgotten.
I understand that May lied to them prior to the vote. Apparently the DUP fully support her and there is a legal exit from the backstop, plus she promises to step down for a 2022 GE. If those brainless cockroaches believed that, I have a bridge to sell them. Neither will I believe those hiding behind her skirts, who'll claim that it was always the plan, for leaving on WTO on 29th March. They are toast.
Like Merkel, she has now assumed a role of an autocrat who no longer is dependent on keeping the electorate happy as they are 'standing down' - but crucially 'not yet'. In the meantime, they're busy doing their master's work on the projekt trying to ensure that no-one will escape, like the good capos they are.
I never thought that I would say that there is a worse PM than Bliar, but she's managed it. Our democracy is publicly broken and systemic corruption clearly pervades Parliament and the Civil Service. The ballot box has demonstrably failed. I fear that this will not end peacefully. I hope for the best but am preparing for the worst.

Message: The majority of UK Member's of Parliament should hang their heads in shame at disrespecting our referendum vote. Parliament now looks like a third rate pantomime. MPs who supported Prime Minister May in a no confidence vote means they also support her RUBBISH deal. Those MPs can be guaranteed of one thing - they will be extremely lucky to hang on to their tax-payer funded Westminster seats come next elections?
As soon as Sir Graham Brady MP announced the result of their secret ballot - where the [conservative] parliamentary party DOES have confidence in Mrs May, my resolve to exit the EU scam instantly hardened. I wondered what they were seeing I was not? When Mrs May made her own position clear outside 10 Downing Street following this, it was clear from that point going forwards she was a LAME DUCK PRIME MINISTER. If Mrs May believes the EU will suddenly give in to her demands, she needs to wake up, because the EU know they don't need to give an inch.
So off she trots to Brussels once again for an 'EU summit' to be subservient to her unaccountable bureaucratic masters. OUR proud country sold out to foreign bureaucrats - who would ever have believed it? I voted to get my country back in every respect and to leave all EU institutions. Our British military made an OATH to Queen and country, not to the EU, so why aren't they saying much?
MPs ARE NOT LISTENING TO THE MAJORITY 2016 DEMOCRATIC VOTE.
Can we please have British Union Flags flying in London by Parliament to get rid of the time wasters who prefer to wave blue flags of a non-country. ALL true Brits should be flying our union flag. Prime Minister May should in my view RESIGN AT ONCE to allow a true Brexiteer to take over.

Message: I disagree slightly in this article: "42 men and women last night prevented the removal of what must be the worst Prime Minister in living memory." When you consider the PM's since Thatcher - Blair, Brown, Cameron, Major, May - I would be hard pressed to pick a successful patriotic one amongst the whole lot! Let their record stand up for them as a disgrace to our once proud democratic country. Every PM since Thatcher have given away our sovereignty piece by piece. They all are as bad as each other. This is a very dark period that the UK finds itself in.

ARE YOU HAPPY TO SEE A BRITISH ARMY GENERAL
SALUTING THE EU FLAG & ANTHEM
ON AN EU MILITARY MISSION?
© EU Commission
WATCH VIDEO OF UK GENERAL AND TROOPS IN SARAJEVO,
WORKING FOR THE EU
British Army General, Sir James Everard KCB CBE, wearing EU insignia, reviews the guard of honour, salutes an EU flag, and salutes the playing of the EU anthem ‘Ode to Joy’ by German composer Beethoven.
Are you a newer reader of Brexit Facts4EU.Org?
We support our military
We have published the largest and most definitive series of factual articles on the military in relation to the EU and Brexit of any organisation. These pieces are the result of enormous research. Please note that this article was first published by us on 04 Sep 2018.
Since the above video was shot, earlier this year, the UK has provided a big increase in troops and equipment for the EU. Here is what the EU says about its ‘mission’:-
THE EU'S MISSION
“The European Union provides significant resources to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as part of its comprehensive approach, supporting the country on its journey towards European integration.
“European Union Force (EUFOR) Operation ALTHEA is the EU’s military commitment to this journey.”
Readers will note that the EU military’s mission is
“supporting the country on its journey towards European integration”.
The British Army has been doing this in 2018 - this year - at the same time that the EU was acting as a hostile power against the UK in the Brexit negotiations.
DID THE UK PARLIAMENT HAVE ANY SAY IN THE BRITISH ARMY’S ROLE IN BOSNIA?
This ‘EU mission’ is yet another in a long list decided upon by the EU. The EU Commissioner responsible is the Italian former Communist Federica Mogherini, who is the de facto Foreign and Defence Secretary of the European Union.
From the date of the Referendum in June 2016, Hansard – the official record of parliamentary proceedings – contains no mention of this mission by the British Army on behalf of the European Union, except for a written statement by Gavin Williamson, Defence Secretary, in June this year.
This written statement wasn’t debated and starts by referring to an order under the Reserve Forces Act 1996 to allow the call-up of 8 specialist reservists to provide intelligence support. Reading the statement in full, it becomes apparent that more UK forces will deploy for a period of six months from mid-August 2018. The statement does not give any indication of the total size of the deployment.
THAT DEPLOYMENT STARTED ON THURSDAY LAST WEEK
Below is a video taken on Thursday last week, showing British Paras arriving in Sarajevo with a large number of military vehicles. The Paras arrived on an RAF Voyager plane and so big was the deployment that an enormous Antonov transport plane had to be used for all the vehicles and special equipment.
© EU Commission
The picture shows Paras being greeted by an EU Commander and the troops are wearing the EU flag on their shoulders.
One source told us that a Para asked his superiors if he could remove the EU flag shoulder flash as he didn’t feel comfortable wearing it. Permission was refused.
BOSNIA IS A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR EU MEMBERSHIP, DID REMAINER MPs KNOW?
Six Balkan countries are candidates for EU membership, as we have reported more than once. Bosnia and Herzegovina is on the list as a potential candidate country.
Already the EU has signed the following with Bosnia & Herzegovina: a Visa Facilitation and Readmission Agreement, an Interim Agreement on Trade and Trade-related issues, and a Stabilisation and Association Agreement. The country receives funding from the EU budget.
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – EU DESCRIPTION OF POLITICAL ‘CHALLENGES’
Here is what the EU itself says about the political difficulties which its military mission is working under in Bosnia Herzegovina.
IN THE EU'S OWN WORDS
"The leadership of the three “constituent peoples” still disagrees on the foundations of BiH. [Bosnia and Herzegovina – Ed.]
"Bosniaks would prefer a strong and unitary state, whereas Bosnian Serbs tend to push for further self-governance, and Bosnian Croats continue to strive for what they consider a ‘fairer share’ of the power arrangements.
  • Public institutions are costly, fragmented and partly dysfunctional.
  • The reconciliation process, which is crucial for progress, goes slowly.
  • Some figures in the political landscape seem to fear EU “Rule of Law” standards.
  • Short election cycles (general and local elections alternating in a 2-year rhythm) do not contribute to political continuity.
  • Political dialogue is generally difficult, and pre-election campaigning has again led to a significant increase in inflammatory nationalistic rhetoric."
This is the EU’s own description of the situation, released by the EU’s ‘European External Action Service’. In essence, three rival sections of the population are all competing with each other. Bosnia and Herzegovina has a population of 3.5 million and the majority religion is Islam.
OBSERVATIONS
We would point out to Remainer MPs that this is the kind of thing the EU is doing more and more. And you aren’t even aware of the half of it.
We are pretty sure that even if you’re not alarmed at the sight of a British Army General saluting the EU flag and anthem, and British paras being forced to wear EU insignia, a great many people in the country will be.
And it gets even worse. This has all happened under Theresa May’s leadership – since the EU Referendum. She is actually planning to keep the UK as involved as possible in the EU’s military operations, without any say, and while still paying the majority of the EU’s bills.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
This is about sovereignty. We are not suggesting for one moment that British forces should not deploy to assist foreign governments at times of crisis, or in overall support of British interests. The question here is about who decides and who commands.
We started the article showing a video of a British General saluting the EU flag and the EU anthem in Bosnia. The British troops landing last Thursday will be under the overall command of an Austrian General. In this, the EU is not like the UN or NATO. The EU is using its 'anthem' and is acting like a government and deciding policy in Brussels.
General Sir James Everard KCB CBE is NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe. We strongly believe that NATO is the only credible vehicle for combined operations amongst countries with common values. None of the major EU nations come near the NATO target of spending a minimum of 2% of GDP on defence - except the UK. And despite the EU's protestations of 'unity' and 'solidarity', huge fissures have been developing across the EU in the last two years.
NATO has been working well for decades. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.
AND FINALLY
The majority of the British public voted to leave the EU. What on earth are we doing, tying our military into EU structures since the Referendum? Naturally the EU still want us involved - they want us to keep paying. But they've already made it clear that we won't be attending any of their decision-making meetings regarding the use of the military. This nonsense has to stop.
NOTES:
Brexit Facts4EU.Org has published many dozens of research articles about the ‘EU Army’. We welcome any approaches by MPs who would like a summary of the key things they need to know.
As ever, the content of this article comes from in-depth research of EU material, as well as from official government sources.
In response to some comments on social media about this article, we want to stress that we have made no personal criticism of General Everard. We have not been able to find any definitive government or MoD guidance about the protocols involved when British military personnel are involved in ceremonies containing the EU flag or anthem. And yes, we looked in Queen's Regulations amongst other documents. Maybe a reader can advise.
Our point is more general - the EU acts like a country, in writing and in deed. An example of this is when it says “The EU is the most generous donor in the world” when it speaks of international aid. This is patently untrue, unless they consider the EU to be a country composed of 28 states. In this respect the EU is unlike NATO or the UN, both of whom have international roles where the British military plays a part.

I have family members who were once in the armed services who were proud of their service to our country. They did not join up for any other reason - they believed in our country, and so too should Member's of Parliament.
With much regret, Mrs May has failed to inform the country exactly how much military she's given away to the EU and/or signed our country up to since June 2016, knowing full well the majority electorate had voted to exit the EU. In anyone's language, this may be viewed as treachery. There is a wealth of factual defence information here at Brexit Facts4EU.org - Less well informed MPs would do well to read it.

Mrs May unable to exit her travel arrangements in Berlin
MAY MAKES THE UK AN INTERNATIONAL LAUGHING STOCK
A Brexit Facts4EU.Org Opinion
Yesterday Mrs May was roundly rebuffed and our country humiliated, in European capitals.
BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
Mrs May's humiliation

  • A Dutchman said “We discussed the latest Brexit developments” (Marc Rutte, PM)
  • The soon-to-retire leader of Germany said “No way” (Angela Merkel, Chancellor)
  • And an unelected and stumbling Luxembourghish bureaucrat told the EU Parliament “There is no room whatsoever for renegotiation .... Everybody has to know the withdrawal agreement will not be reopened.” (Jean-Claude Juncker, EU Commission President)
This afternoon Theresa May will go cap in hand to the anti-British leader of a nation which is a fraction of the size and has a fraction of the power of the United Kingdom. This leader and his deputy have been significantly responsible for the huge delays in reaching a sensible and amicable divorce agreement with the EU.
NATIONAL HUMILIATION
It’s one thing for the Prime Minister to humiliate herself. It’s quite another for her to continue humiliating our entire nation on the world stage.
For Mrs May to run off to Dublin later today to appeal for help from Leo Varadkar - of all people - really is the final straw.
FORGET 48 LETTERS, WHY AREN’T ALL TORY MPS SUBMITTING LETTERS?
We have it on good authority that a minimum of 48 letters have now been submitted to the Chairman of the 1922 Committee, expressing no confidence in Mrs May and automatically triggering a leadership contest.
Yesterday in frustration our Twitter editor posted an online 24-hour poll. The 24 hours isn’t yet up, but here are the results so far, with 98% saying MPs should put in their letters:
OWEN PATERSON
Yesterday morning we ran two pieces following an interview the night before with the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP. Some readers wondered at our timing.
Today Mr Paterson has published in the Daily Telegraph his ‘no confidence’ letter to Sir Graham Brady. It's a great letter, but it's behind a pay-wall so we can't publish his damning comments.
Perhaps our timing is now clearer.
THERESA MAY
In July 2016 we argued against Mrs May ever being appointed by MPs as leader of the Conservative Party. (Remember, she was never elected by the party’s members.)
In the first few months of her premiership, we felt it patriotic to give her a chance. When it became clear to us that she was hopeless - and unwilling to deliver in full the democratic decision of the British people to leave the EU - we started attacking her.
We lost Conservative readers, many of whom felt we were being unfair. (We are party-neutral, but we had to write what we felt represented the best interests of Brexit. Sadly we were proved right…… in spades.)
Now there can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that this woman has been a complete and unmitigated disaster - for her own party - but much more importantly for Brexit and for our country.
CALLING ALL CONSERVATIVE MPs
Today we call upon ALL Conservative MPs who haven’t already done so to submit their letters to Sir Graham Brady. To do anything else would be a travesty and would demonstrate beyond doubt that they are putting party interests before those of the country – and those of democracy.
We simply can’t have this woman destroying the hard-won reputation of our great country like this. And we need a pro-Brexit Prime Minister who will embrace all the great opportunities ahead of us all.

Message: The 'king' of the EU, Jean-Claude Juncker (he tries to act like it - cough), says the present deal is the only deal and will not be reopened. I suggest ALL EU member countries think very carefully about statements Juncker and others make, then remember they're not dealing with some tin-pot country. THE UK IS THE LARGEST EXPORT MARKET FOR THE EU. They either provide an exceptional deal which is better than WTO terms, or they don't - they're on their final chance I think? Should the EU continue threatening behaviour, British people will bite back. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH. We are well aware EU negotiators have pushed the UK Prime Minister around, and our country and its citizens has been humiliated because of the PMs weakness. To all member countries, you have now seen the bullying tactics from the EU - and the UK is still a member whose citizens are propping up the majority of other member countries. We have a saying in the UK - "never bite the hand that feeds you" - the EU have taken us for granted. Democracy is being subverted by the EU just because they don't like our decision. It is time every conservative MP send their letters to the Chair of the 1922 Committee, Sir Graham Brady MP. It is time for Mrs May to be removed from the 'Office of Prime Minister' for I will NOT vote conservative so long as Mrs May remains Prime Minister. I was willing to give Mrs May a chance, but that chance ended when she surrendered our great country to a foreign power, and a majority of MPs are complicit in this. MPs have no mandate to give away our country, and all those legally living in the UK must abide by British law, just as they would have to do if going to a country outside the EU. No more British taxpayers money to the EU budget (except for the current period), EXIT all EU institutions, make our own laws, NO using British forces for an 'EU army', recover territorial waters to 200 miles and we decide who can fish our waters under licence - but British fishermen will always have the lions share. Bring our military home, and so on. Tell the EU we're not interested in their rubbish 'deal' and walk away. If they wish to do business, let them come to the UK. I do NOT want to see any UK Prime Minister running around at the behest of unelected, unaccountable, foreign bureaucrats - their time is up. The House of Commons is supposed to be the 'Mother of Parliament' which is admired worldwide - until now? The PM and a majority of self-serving MPs have betrayed our country, there is really no other way to say it. As of this moment, I am pleased to see Conservatives have now triggered 'no-confidence' in Prime Minister May. I hope Mrs May now resigns and a true Brexiteer MP takes over as Mrs May never believed in Brexit.

Message: I agree with Owen Paterson, the country should have EXITED the eu 2.5 years ago, the day after the momentous and historic democratic vote!!! But here we are 2.5 years later hissing about going nowhere. When you investigate her record first as Home Secretary and now as PM, you see nothing but failure. The quicker she is gone the better.
Nigel Farage should have been made head negotiator the day after the vote in recognition of his sheer tenacity and hard work over at least 20+ years.
We are indeed currently a laughing stock as a country, thanks to the ruling class and civil service.
UKIP is not the only party for the people, 'For Britain' also is. Additionally we have a Veterans political party too that people could vote for. Those are 3 parties that would do better than the current encumbents given the chance.
What has happened to veterans in the past 5 years alone is nothing short of disgusting.
The political class has failed the public massively.

 WHATEVER HAPPENS TO MRS MAY,
THE ANTI-DEMOCRAT MPs
WILL STILL VOTE AGAINST BREXIT
THEY WILL - UNLESS YOU TELL THEM
The media is obsessed with intrigue and gossip. So are MPs. We deal in facts. The simple fact is that the House of Commons is packed with Remainers.
The ONLY way to make a difference right now is for every democratic British person to tell their MP to respect the Referendum result or they will lose your vote. If not, these anti-democratic Remainer MPs will block Brexit… whatever happens to Theresa May and her disastrous ‘deal’.
HERE’S HOW TO DO IT
Use the most popular Brexit flyer on the internet right now.
Fill in your details and POST it. (Emails have 1/20th of the impact, as one MP told us privately, but MPs can’t ignore huge post-bags arriving in their offices.)
Then print off a hundred (or a thousand!) and deliver them through letterboxes in your area. Even if you only delivered to 10 houses, it all adds to the pressure on MPs to respect democracy, even if they don’t care about our sovereignty.
This is the ONLY campaign which has been making a real difference in the last 10 days. Why not try it? It’s better than sitting at home, hurling insults at the TV!

MPs SIMPLY MUST BE TOLD - BY YOU
MPs simply have to be told to fulfil the promise made to the electorate in 2016, and deliver a clean Brexit. If that is an exit on WTO terms, that's fine.
You – personally - really could make a difference. If you believe in democracy, please act now before it’s too late.
Remember, even with a change of leader, the majority of MPs will continue to do everything they can to thwart or delay Brexit.
Only you can change this.
OBSERVATIONS
FIGHT BACK FOR BREXIT NOW
We believe this is the ONLY initiative which now stands any chance of persuading MPs to deliver in full on Brexit.

Message: TIME TO DON OUR YELLOW JACKETS
YES, Kate Hoey you and many other people were wrong to trust Theresa May. I'm afraid to say WE HAVE THE GOVERNMENT WE ALL DESERVE. In 2016 I said to my friends and my family that Theresa May is FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL, she's a grammar school twit with no common sense in her fuzzy deluded head. I'd seen people like her in my work, they're arrogant, lack common sense, spoilt, and with entitlement running through them like a stick of Blackpool rock. People have been sectioned for less.
TIME WE DONNED OUR YELLOW JACKETS and followed France and protest against these over inflated egotistical morons who spend days shouting at each other and doing no constructive work. TIME THE LOT WENT alongside this 800 HOUSE OF LORDS. In a court of law all we have TWELVE JUST MEN AND WOMAN, that's all we need for justice.
And, FOR GODS SAKE will you MPs WAKE UP FROM YOUR TRANCE STATE OF FEAR before this insane woman crucifies us all - I'VE GOT MY YELLOW JACKET OUT!... WE'LL SAVE MONEY and SAVE OUR COUNTRY!

Message: There is already an excellent, established political Party in existence which is passionately committed to delivering the clean Brexit we all voted for: UKIP. Members were out in force amongst thousands of other Brexiteers who had travelled from all parts of Britain on The BREXIT BETRAYAL MARCH on Sunday the 9th December in London. I had travelled from Somerset with 16 other members of UKIP and felt fortunate and privileged to be able to join such a wonderful crowd of civilised, happy people on a peaceful but powerful demonstration. Many people I spoke to had recently joined UKIP having been inspired and impressed by our Leader Gerard Batten and for some, this was the first time they had ever JOINED a political party. The only trouble was caused by Antifa, who were kept away from us by the police, and 3 of THEIR group were arrested.
The Membership of UKIP is rising daily and it is more important than ever at this uniquely critical time in the history of this country that genuine Brexiteers do not COMPETE with other pro-Brexit organisations but UNITE in a show of strength to deliver what we are all fighting for. UKIP is fighting tooth and nail to make BREXIT happen.

 PATERSON: “WE GAVE THE PM
THE SOLUTION IN OCTOBER”
The Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP speaking in Washington last year © Heritage Foundation
THE PM'S TOP OFFICIALS ARE:
“Frustrating Brexit, determined to keep us
in the Customs Union”
In an exclusive interview with the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP last night, he reiterated to Brexit Facts4EU.Org that a full Brexit solution was already available – including to the Northern Ireland question.
We spoke to Mr Paterson following his question to the Prime Minister in the House earlier :-
“On 7 March, President Tusk offered the UK a wide-ranging free trade agreement, which foundered on the issue of the Northern Ireland border. It is therefore exasperating, today, that the Prime Minister is still talking about the backstop as the only solution to this border…. This is a breach of the Belfast agreement principle of consent, and it is even a breach of the articles of the Act of Union in 1801….”
“She knows that existing techniques and existing customs procedures can continue to deliver a seamless border. Will she please, at this late stage, put the backstop and all its horrors behind her, go back to the European Union and take up the offer made by President Tusk, using these modern, seamless customs techniques?”
- Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP, House of Commons, 10 Dec 2018
The Prime Minister then repeated her many previous statements, and added :-
“In relation to the technical issues—the technical solutions — that my right hon. Friend refers to, yes, indeed, and we continue to engage with those who put these forward.”
The Prime Minister, House of Commons, 10 Dec 2018
According to Owen Paterson, this is not the case.
WHAT OWEN PATERSON TOLD US
Mr Paterson said that he and others had presented Mrs May with the details in October and that her reaction was “deeply disappointing and frustrating”.
“We already have a solution to the Northern Ireland border using existing processes, existing procedures, and within existing EU customs laws. This detailed solution was developed following meetings with customs experts in the EU and we also put it to Michel Barnier.
“We gave her this solution and held subsequent meetings with her senior officials.”
SO FAR SO GOOD, SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM THEN?
“There’s a complete inbuilt determination by the Civil Service to stay in the Customs Union.”
For Owen Paterson to tell us openly that Mrs May’s senior officials are effectively thwarting a sensible solution to Brexit because they are determined to keep the UK in the EU Customs Union is extraordinary.
All the more so because Mr Paterson held two positions as Secretary of State (Northern Ireland and DEFRA) and would not normally criticise top civil servants.
IMPORTANT: Please see our follow-up article below.
OBSERVATIONS
HOW MANY MORE DELAYS WILL BE TOLERATED?
The solution to the Irish border question has been known about for a considerable period of time.
What has now changed is the tone and the words being used by senior and experienced politicians such as Mr Paterson in relation to the PM’s refusal to address these solutions even at this late stage.
Furthermore, there is now open criticism of the senior civil servants on whom Mrs May seems to prefer to rely.
Last night, Mr Paterson expressed the growing frustration and anger felt by members of the European Research Group of Conservative MPs – those who are sticking to the Party’s manifesto commitments – and it is clear that patience with the PM has been exhausted.
THE BREXIT SOLUTION
In our next article we are summarising the position and the solution. Whilst any summary necessarily simplifies things, it is clear that such a paper is needed as the majority of the public are simply not aware of the solution.
This is not helped by the Prime Minister lying constantly about her Withdrawal Agreement and the reasons for it. This alone should be sufficient grounds for her to be shown the door by her colleagues.
MAY’S IN THE WAY
In days gone by, the Conservative Party’s legendary ‘men in grey suits’ would have gone to see the Prime Minister telling her it was time to go.
After yesterday’s shambles and the bizarre behaviour of Mrs May, it would seem more appropriate and perhaps kinder for the ‘men in white coats’ to perform the task.

Message: Yet again, actual facts, published here some time ago, are memory-holed and 'forgotten' by those wishing to pay a foreign power to take the country off their hands.
I cannot help but feel that there's a large element of 'look squirrel' politics being played here. Meanwhile, I'm not hearing any answers to questions that I have, so that I can see whether we are 'remaining by the back door' - something that we were assured would not happen. Aside from the current 'big beasts': Where is a detailed breakdown of the money that the Govt. is intending to pay, as a one-off and any ongoing 'charges'? What are, precisely, the names and activities of all of the EU 'agencies' that May has said that 'we' are interested in? What are the tandcs and costs (financial and otherwise)? How does this impact our sovereign control of laws? Are these costs factored into the 'pretend' £39bn? This appears to be remaining by the back door. I hear many MPs demanding that we stay in some of these EU institutions. Why is Euratom part of the 'deal'? As far as I'm aware, Euratom has a mandated leave process. Notice to leave was given late so it was not possible to complete by 29th March. So what exactly IS the date (if notice was indeed served) of leaving and the fiture plans? It was a key consideration in an 'implementation' period's acceptance - items that could not be fully implemented by the leave date. When does the 2 yr notice of the withdrawal from the London Agreement (fishing) finish? What are the plans? Again, we heard about 'intend to give notice' but zilch since.
The most important remain by the back door enabling us to be reeled back in - Why is there silence and when spoken, lies, regarding the full impact of May's sign-up to military union, and again without a voice - just providing the cannon fodder? Why will we still be tied to this even if we 'leave'?
Those are just a few issues that should be being honestly debated. Instead, we have the self-serving Intrusion of Cockroaches that infest the Houses of Parliament with many clinging to the fallacy of a EUtopia like turds stick to a shoe trying to overturn democracy. Most are as thick as mince as their 'speeches' display for all to see, a lack of even simple research and facts preferring to repeat consistently debunked 'project fear' from 3 years ago, pre-referendum. I am repeatedly amazed that these cretins openly admit that they are incapable of performing the job that they were elected to do, by stating that a foreign power (remaining in the EU) is the only way to pass a law to 'protect' people. Err...pardon? I seriously think that it's time that there was an IQ minimum for public representation in Parliament. The others are working for a foreign power to subvert our country, a truly evil bunch.
If they truly believe in the EU dream, then let us leave fully and properly. Then they can campaign to join the EU fully, providing full information of the consequences. If, as they say, we will miss the 'wonderfulness' that is the EU with all things bright and beautiful, it'll be a walk in the park for them. We will have seen the 'error of our ways'. Right?

Message: The pantomine continues, May's 'Olly' and his ghostly staff are determined ......
She started with "No deal is better than a bad deal" but now presents as the only deal the worst one that one could dream up of in one's worst nightmare. I believe that this 'withdrawal deal' is drawn up by the eu, and rubber stamped by the traitors.
I know one thing, not delivering on leaving the eu, should mean the conservatives are toast and I hope for very many years to come. Look at their history with regard to the lies to the country re the EEC/eu. Heath, Major, May and Labour Blair, Brown - all of them have lied through their teeth about the real end game and purpose of the EEC/eu.
Now with all this pantomime going on, the Franco-British Council goes about its dirty hidden work.
The quicker Nigel Farage's new party is put together the better and someone please bring back hanging for treason.

 BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG’S SIMPLE GUIDE TO
© unknown
BREXIT, WTO, TRADE
AND THE IRISH BORDER
Brexit Facts4EU.Org has previously researched and reported many times on what we have described as the “non-issue” of the Irish border.
We have published the testimony of the CEO of HMRC, the Head of Irish Revenue, and the special report of the EU Parliament prepared by one of the foremost customs experts in the field: the former Director of the World Customs Organisation.
All agreed that there was no need for any border infrastructure.
SUMMARY OF THE SOLUTION
Below is our Brexit Facts4EU.Org simple guide to a route to Brexit which addresses the question of the Irish border – without needing any odious ‘Backstop’ provision tying the UK into the EU indefinitely.
BREXIT, WTO, TRADE,
AND THE IRISH BORDER
A 1-PAGE BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY PAPER
1. BACKGROUND
  • A border already exists - for tax, VAT, currency, excise duties and security, with no disruption
  • The Irish government weaponised the border issue in its desire to create a united Ireland
  • The EU used this issue to delay real Brexit negotiations until March 2018
  • On 07 Mar 2018, EU Council President Donald Tusk offered the UK a zero tariffs trade deal
  • However this offer would have made Northern Ireland effectively part of the EU for customs and laws
  • Mrs May allowed this to dominate her unwanted Withdrawal Agreement with the EU
  • Northern Ireland sales to the Republic account for only 0.2% of UK GDP
  • HMRC, Irish Revenue, and EU Parliament’s report all said no border infrastructure was required
2. SOLUTION
  • The technology is already being used, and is tried and tested
  • Solution would use existing processes, existing procedures, within existing EU customs laws
  • No requirement for ‘a hard border’ – unwanted by UK, EU, and Republic of Ireland anyway
  • Improvements can be made to efficiency, with goodwill on both sides
  • Exit on WTO terms, then negotiate trade deal with EU
  • Invoke Article 24 of GATT agreement, allowing zero tariffs while UK and EU are negotiating
3. WHAT THE INDUSTRY SAYS
CLECAT is the European Association For Forwarding, Transport, Logistics And Customs Services. Based in Brussels it represents more than 19,000 companies employing in excess of 1 million staff in logistics, freight forwarding and customs services. Here is what they say about Brexit:-
“Being outside of the Customs Union and the Single Market does not mean that trade will become impossible and is also not a new situation.
“Modern Customs legislation and technology provides for numerous simplifications and facilitations through which goods can move across borders unhindered, while at the same time Customs and other border inspection services can ensure safety and security and proper tax and duty collection.
“Therefore, all the ingredients to ensure an orderly exit process of the UK from the EU are already available.”
4. CONCLUSION
This non-issue has always been an absurd diversion over a tiny matter which would have been resolved a year ago by the respective customs authorities of the UK and the Republic of Ireland, if the EU and the Irish government hadn’t stopped them talking last year.

OBSERVATIONS
Descriptions of solutions to the non-issue of the Northern Ireland border have been published in many ways, but the public remains largely unaware. This is a common problem caused by articles by MPs appearing behind the paywalls of major newspapers and magazines.
Where the solutions are available without paywalls, these are generally full versions running to thousands of words – impenetrable to ordinary voters with so little time to spare in their daily lives.
We hope you have found our simple summary useful. It is based on detailed research. Please feel free to distribute the PDF of our paper, provided you credit us.
